Ok but old property

I loved everything about my stay at Silver Bow Inn. My room was very comfortable and the location can’t be beat. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely book again.

I always enjoy staying at silverbow. The staff always goes above and beyond in terms of service. Plus you really cannot beat its location, highly recommend!

Extremely helpful and gracious always working to enhance guests experience. Attention to detail is unmatched! Will return!

This boutique hotel is outstanding. No words to describe it. It looks like a small hotel from a quaint town where history meets new things. Only 12 rooms and everyone is treated as family. Rooms are on a smaller size (European style) but it has all it needs and more. We booked last minute so we didn’t have an option, but I know there are bigger rooms (definitely book that one for our next trip).
Location: couldn’t be better, city centre and walkable to many places, public transportation closeby, lots of places to eat, stores. We do recommend a car rental if you want to explore on your own farther away, but it’s not necessary.
They have a kitchen that you could use 24/7 if you buy your own food in supermarkets, put away leftover takeout. We would but daily for our breakfast and lunch at local supermarkets and eat in their kitchen.
Staff: Well that is the cherry on top!! The staff is more than amazing, no words to describe them and that is what made our stay out of this world.
Heather, Misty, Tina and a couple of other ladies run the place amazingly. They are so friendly, wiling to go above and beyond, helpful, and loved to answer any questions we had or make suggestions for us to visit places.
They made us fall in love of Juneau and the Silverbow Inn.
We will come back again and definitely stay here!!
Tip: If you plan to rent a car let the hotel know so they can save you a spot on their lot, there is street parking, but its better to have your spot.
Thank you Silverbow!

Very nice people. Clean.

Very conveniently located hotel downtown.

Not worth the price

I took one star off due to having to walk up three flights of stairs with my bags and toddler. The property was nice though and I wish I had time to enjoy the hot tubs. Staff was very friendly, and the restaurant next door was great.
4.4
The bed was ultra comfortable, really liked the comfy mattress and individual duvets. Had the best self-serve healthy breakfast, just like at home! Laundry facilities were clean and our clothes came out smelling fresh. We loved the rooftop hot tub, had great views and enjoyed scheduling a private visit. Nice touches with teddy robes, shower steamer, and rubber ducky. Great location for shopping and dining too, especially In Bocca al Lupo next door to the hotel. The staff was also really helpful and friendly. Stayed in room 201 - a bit noisy but hey, it's right downtown.

It offered a unique flavor, boutique atmosphere. I thoroughly appreciated the attention and service. Best place ever to stay.

This property was very cute! Our room was great with a comfortable bed. The breakfast included was fantastic. The only thing that was a bit of a hassle was hauling our luggage up the stairs. Overall, this place was great!
4.4
Walking distance to most and a majority of the staff was great. Property is a bit tired but warm and welcoming, bathroom was tiny and had no place for my toiletries and had no full length mirror. Breakfast was light but enough. Staff tried very hard to please guests.
4.4
Staff was extremely helpful and welcoming! Walkable distance to everything

Hot tub was awesome after hiking in the mountains.

The Silverbow has everything you could need away from home and more. Nice remodeled rooms and a very comfy beds.
The staff was attentive and the kitchen for guests was awesome with many choices of food and drinks.

This was my second time staying at Silverbow and I was less impressed than the first time. My room was in the older building and it was clearly outdated. Not horrible, just outdated. The queen rooms are extremely small, so don't book if you want to hangout in your room a lot. However, I was out working most of my trip so the size wasn't an issue. Even though the rooms are small, you cannot skip out on the amazing roof top hot tubs. Silverbow has thought of everything from robes, flip flops, and even umbrella hats.

Loved it here. Wish I stayed in Juneau for the week to stay in this space. No elevator so pack accordingly. I didn't.
4.4
By far, the best and most unique hotel in all of Alaska!

The Hotel is a great place for business or tourist travelers. The thing that was great is they ( Misty)
Made me feel like I was at home! The Internet worked fine. I only did not like the TV system as I missed my favorite thing News! But your not supposed to watch tv on trips!

Great boutique hotel in a very convenient location within 3 blocks of many restaurants, shops and the waterfront. We enjoyed the roof top hot tub on a rainy afternoon. Only drawback: Creaky floors in an older building mean that you may hear your fellow guests moving about.
4.4
Loved the setup in the hotel. The rooftop area was wonderful.

This is one of Juneau's better hotels, just two blocks from our Uncruise dock. The manager is lovely and it's very neat and clean and tasteful. As well it should be for $500 a night! A bit noisy at night, a bit muggy in Juneau's heat wave.
4.4
Great property, conviently located and friendly staff. Great open concept and made on demand fresh coffee

My grandson ended up with emergency surgery during our 4 day stay in Juneau before leaving on a cruise .
Tina and her staff could not have been more helpful and supportive, we were moved from the third floor to a ground floor room , the medio were picked up by one of Tina’s co workers on her day of - helped me getting our suitcases downstairs etc .
Tina works non stop with very long days she is an incredible caring person the owners have a winning lottery ticket with her for sure and the staff .
The location is wonderful the rooftop with the hot top fantastic .
Hope to be back in Alaska and will stay at the Silverbow Inn for sure !

The rooms were tiny and had no counter space in the bathroom. Our room did not have an AC unit so we were not able to fully relax because we were not getting good sleep with the room being so hot at night and tight on space. I loved that we didn’t have a room key and had a code to our door. However, our code needed to be reset and there was an envelope clipped to our door with the code to our door on the outside so anyone could have opened it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I tried to call the hotel twice before our stay and found it frustrating that it was someone off site answering the phone and attempting to answer our questions so there was a bit of miscommunication with parking and what not. Overall the stay was okay, the room was very spendy for what little you got. However( the location was amazing !

Very enjoyable

The staff were awesome! The hot tub on the roof was great after long days of walking and hiking. I would stay there again if we ever get back to Juneau. Thanks for the great hospitality!!
4.4
Very friendly staff and comfy room! The fresh cookies were a wonderful surprise!
4.4
The hotel is charming and very cute. In the offseason, you can get snacks to eat in the lobby 24/7 (which is helpful since a lot of stuff is closed). All but one room does required climbing a flight of stairs as it is an old building. The staff will help you get stuff up the stairs.
4.4
Hotel was not handicap accessible, so I had to check out after the first day. But I was charged for two more days I have a room and unused parking. Very disappointing.
4.4
They really make a great effort to make your stay an incredible one!!
4.4
The room was smaller than we are used. The TV volume was hard to adjust….figured it was limited to avoid disturbing neighboring rooms. Location is great for local shops, bars, and restaurants. The breakfast was great…plenty of options. For 20-30 somethings, this would probably be great. For us (a bit older) we are used to a little more maneuverability. Room availability in Juneau at the time was very limited so we went with this. I would recommend this hotel for those who are okay with a smaller room.

The Silverbow Inn is in a great location in downtown Juneau. It's clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. However, the room we had was tiny and the bathroom did not even have a cabinet with counter, just a small sink. Also, the walls are very thin and we could hear conversations in the room next door as well as footsteps as people walked down the hallway.
4.4
Fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Juneau! We had a terrific time at the Silverbow! The room was comfortable; breakfast was delicious. The views from the hot tub decks were amazing! To top this off, the location was fabulous for walking to restaurants, cafes, breweries, and shops! We will stay here again if they have openings!
4.4
Love staying in historical buildings - but once in the room it was all ultra modern - very nice!
4.4
Great location. Beautiful spacious room
4.4
We had a wonderful stay!
4.4
This place is fantastic! You totally want to stay here. About as perfect of a boutique hotel as you will ever find in a city like Juneau.
4.4
The Silverbow is all about small details...from the comfortable entrance, the great customer service, to all the fun elements of the rooms. Not to mention the rooftop hot tub in the crisp Alaskan winter air. I simply love this place.
