It was very nice, the room was clean and not very loud. Breakfast was amazing too.

Checked in after midnight after a late flight. Was welcomed and checked in quickly. Everything was very comfortable and nice breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay again.

This is an amazing hotel with a reasonable price. Staff is friendly and property is clean and in a quiet, convenient location. The rooms have a lot of space, are clean and have comfortable beds. The breakfast is beyond the basics and tastes amazing. They have staff on duty all morning so its always stocked and hot and it changes every day. Ive stayed in several hotels in the area and this is by far the best i have found for the price.

Looked good online, but very average to slightly below average. I would not book if you don’t want to see or smell the long term guests walking around filling lobby and hallways with a heavy Marijuana smell.
I had a room on 2nd floor. When walking down the hallway after checking in I noticed the HVAC ceiling vents and ceiling surface had a dark black substance that looked like either black dust or possibly mold. I noticed the same substance on the vents of the AC / Heater unit inside my room. Wall paper was peeling off on some walls, there was dust and rust on the light fixtures in my room.
On the positive, the interior courtyard is very nice with plenty of nice, clean seating. During the day time on weekdays it seems to be nice and quiet and good place to hold an informal meeting. The free breakfast wasn’t too bad, as far as, free hotel breakfasts go. The breakfast staff was friendly and helpful.
Over all, I thought based on pictures, price, and some of the reviews this would be a good deal; however, I feel like the price is slightly higher than what its worth.

The room was a non-smoking room but smelled like it had been smoked in several times. The staff was overall courteous and friendly. I will not be staying there again though.

The floor was disgusting in the room. The room only had blinds no curtains. It made it impossible to sleep.

When we booked the reservations, we booked it for a kitchenette. When we got there, they said there were no kitchenette, however, they made sure we got what we wanted. I even called the day. I made the reservation. They did the right thing. The staff was incredible :-) the staff needs a raise there.

This is a very nice hotel. They had a great breakfast and a very clean and inviting atmosphere. Outaide the hotel could have been a little cleaner but it was off the main street and very quiet. The iside was gorgeaous and clean and staff was very friendly. Beds were comfy, overall a great place to stay.

Enjoyed stay & will book again

Our check-in was challenging. The air conditioner fan in the first room was as loud as a jet. We switched rooms and the 2nd one reeked of smoke. The 3rd room was good. Melanie, from the front desk staff, saved the day! The room was clean and fan was quiet. There was no soap or tissues in the bathroom. There was only hair conditioner in the shower. The breakfast was quite lacking. We walked to a very good Mexican restaurant, La Casita, for dinner. The location is not far from the Super Hockey Rink in Blaine.

Check-in was good, but many people were turned away that evening, and cops were called because the hotel overbooked their rooms. We reserved an executive room but were given an economy/standard room. We asked for a price adjustment, but the offer was declined. The manager insisted that we had already paid a discounted price so nothing could be done. Very disappointed and will not stay here again.

Terrible service and very dirty plus they didn’t allow us to check in until 2 hours after arriving and past the actual check in time as well.

Nice place with the exception of the shower head. It had too little water pressure and the spray was too small.

I stayed at the LivINN when my father was in the hospital in St. Paul. I really liked the hotel and hospitality. Although waffles for breakfast would be great. When my father passed away I recommended the LivINN hotel to my family. We stayed at the Fridley mn hotel. The courtyard was beautiful and clean. After the viewing we all met in the courtyard to chat and distress. It was wonderful to have that area for all of us. Then for breakfast before the funeral we were all able to sit together. Thank you for your great hospitality and a great affordable!! Place for the family to stay and be together in this sad time in our lives.

I will not stay here again.
I stayed for 6 nights (with a break in between).
On the last night, I agreed with the front-desk employee on late check-out and possible extending stay only to have the manager (at least she saus so) knocking on my door, demanding to "be out NOW" or else she'll call the police.
In 1 minute she spoiled a great impression.
This is paying them 500 and taking 10 min of my time last night to call the bank of another guest who lost his card...

Our room was on the first floor. It was very noisy. People running up the hallway being loud the first night. The third night someone banged on our door and the wall in the adjacent room. The faucet leaked and we let them know immediately but no maintenance on the weekend. When we asked for extra towels to contain the water from going on the floor we were asked to turn in other towels first, defeating the purpose of extra towels to contain the water. After explaining further the clerk finally "got it" and gave us extra towels.
We've stayed here before and have had similar issues. The only reason we stayed this time is for the pet friendly room close to our daughters house. Would love to find somewhere else to stay.

The woman in the front desk was extremely mean to everyone and had a terrible attitude and told me to leave the property. I’ll never go there again. I had a terrible experience and she was setting her own prices and said that the prices on the hotel website were wrong. She treated us worse than if we were animals. It’s sad that they have these kind of people in customer service.

Very cool place. Deceptive from the outside. Parking wasn’t great. Surrounding area was a little sketchy.
The hotel itself was excellent. Very cool building. Huge room, very good beds. Shower was awesome, climate control worked well.
If this place had a pool and hot tub we might have stayed a few more days, just because.

The breakfast area was nicer than the rooms, but rooms were fine. Wasn't impressed with people loitering in the lobby late at night. Wasn't that quiet but our room was the first one by the lobby. Overall it was a nice hotel

Affordable, super clean, amazing staff and within minutes of everything!!

This place was great for the most part. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is due to not having enough towels in the room with three of us, there was only two sets and there was only the toilet paper roll on the roll with no extra roll in the room. Easy fixes, but not perfect. Overall, I would stay here again for sure.

Facility was clean and kept up.
Staff were very friendly and professional.
Breakfast was good.
Rates were reasonable.
When we travel through again we will be back.

They never came around to give me more towels or clean my room the shower had a film on it, only two towels for six days there was black in the grout in the shower there was broken blown out light bulbs in the exercise room. When you entered the room there was a strong unpleasant smell a feminine hygiene products. And normal for TV the remote for the TV was a replacement universal with no menu or guide. Nice area but unfortunately the hotel was very disappointing will not be returning

Everything was better than expected for the price. Room was very clean. Almost like the whole hotel was recently renovated. Breakfast was way better than most hotels. Across the parking lot from Applebee's. The large indoor space where pool used to be was very nice.

The property was surprisingly nice and clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and professional. The area is not the best but you can’t really hold it against the hotel. The hotel actually makes the area better. This is a great place and I would recommend parking in front just to be safe
