The room and pools were clean and well-equipped. The environment was quiet and we loved the availability of the morning coffee. We had a very nice stay.

The front desk check in person wasn’t knowledgeable about things or events that might be happening at hotel - thought she should know more about what’s happening
2.5
Very clean and comfortable room with a nice walk in shower and clean bathroom. Starbucks coffee machine in reception . Free Calistoga shuttle bus to wineries , ask at reception . Did not use pool or sauna so cannot comment

Just a short walk to the town center but part of the way had poor street lighting. A nice variety of shops, restaurants, wine tasting, spas, nearby. Rooms were clean and updated; very comfortable. Nice water bottle station. I would stay there again.

Very nice & quiet setting. They did not have any bottled water in their "store" the entire time, but they didi have cups and a refilling station.

Clean, cute, LOVED the mineral pool and spa along with steam and sauna room. Definitely used the bikes on property to enjoy downtown Calistoga. Will definitely return.

Love, love, love the mineral pool, the steam and sauna rooms! The rooms are clean and spacious.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to check in a little early due to early arrival and the room was ready. We enjoyed the mineral water pool, the sauna and steam room. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and quiet.

Over charged a resort fee st check out. Female cleek was rude repeatedly. Definitely NOT a resort. I booked a deluxe toom The only thing deluxe was the larger shower head.
I would not stay there again.

Great, reasonably priced hotel with amenities.

Ok spot for a 1 night stay over. Ac unit was so loud, likely time for repair or replacement. Room was well appointed and pool area was nice, although the pool is very small.

Really enjoyed my stay at Calistoga definitely will come back. I would recommend the depot in town because it's just an amazing place for dinner for drinks for everything. Also live music on the weekend

Overal nice property, quiet yet close enough to everything. Needs better maintenance on the buildings, otherwise would stay again.

Was a little gem of an inn. Thoroughly enjoyed our time. The mineral pools were a little small and crowded but overall a great time.

Water machine was out and it would be helpful to have 2 ice machines and a few more items to purchase in the reception area. Love the Starbuck coffee machine!

Good bang for your buck in Calistoga. Definitely in need of an update. Pool was dingy with broken tiles and limited lounge chairs. Steam and sauna were nice.

Cute reno! Rooms were nicely done. However, noisy, old a/c unit and could hear traffic noise clearly so not very restful. Further, pool area needs updating and cleaning. Walking distance to to town center.

Was charged $100 per night more than stated price when made reservation 9 months before so will not use hotel or Expedia again. Hotel spa needed redoing with tile missing g and gaps where cement had shifted and on pool deck as well. Offered no breakfast and not even an extra towel.

The hotel was fine. Felt a bit overpriced for the value of the stay. The room was a bit dated and offered no amenities. The TV was small and the paint was chipping on the balcony. If there was an elevator to the second story we weren't able to find it. Pool was very small and did not look to be very relaxing but there was a nice patio area in the middle of the hotel. Nice views of the mountains if you got the right room.

The price is low for the area. The room is fine. The pool and hot tub area could use some attention.

We came here for a last minute memorial weekend trip. With a $500 lodging cost per night and good reviews from
Expedia, we were expecting a decent experience. First, one of their selling point of this Inn is that there is a hot spring experience right at this location. In fact they even included hot spring as a part of their name. We of course, decided to go straight to the pool/ hot spring area for this experience. Let me tell you, it looks like swamp spa. The water was groggy and yellowish with extreme water damage and mold all around the the mini pool and jot spring (hot tub). It was straight from a horror film. The pool needs some serious maintenance. Please see pics.
Second, the air conditioning of the rook sounded like a helicoptor right beside us. We couldn’t keep it more than a few minutes. As a result, we had to open the window and since our room was positioned right outside of the street, we had car noises throughout the night. Needless to say, we didn’t have any rest throughout our 2 nights stay. Lastly, the room didn't even offer basic necessity like water.
Please review our pics and video to experience our not so memorable Memorial Day weekend at Up Valley Inn.

The place was quiet and very close to the town. Walkable and beautiful environment. The hotel room was average. I liked the refrigerator and the personal patio. The bathroom had mold on the wall. The hotel experience was not worth $500 a night.

So so service- NO is a common word with the staff

Great property and close walkable distance from downtown Calistoga.

Overall I was content the stay with the cute ambiance, clean room, and convenient location. I didn’t use the pool or hot tub because the water had a green tint so wasn’t sure if it was over chlorinated or the pool was dirty. The room was recently remodeled but the AC unit didn’t seem to be updated. It was about 90 degrees in Calistoga during my stay, so I turned on the AC. It was loud like a jet engine, which made it hard for a light sleeper like me to sleep through the night. I would have been okay with sleeping with the window open at night but there were a lot of gnats flying outside and didn’t want to deal with too many inside.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Walkable to city center during daylight. The coffee could be better. I would recommend this hotel.

The jacuzzi needs a scrub, the pool needs a skimming for bugs, the toilet kept running after flush so much I had to turn the water supply OFF, the "boutique" shower of 1 glass covers only the 1/2 of the cubicle, the rest you get to be cold if not in the water. When front desk was advised, I got a "sorry". Really? Would not recommend anyone else stay there.

The property had a beautiful view. It was just around the corner from town. The UpValley Inn is quint. The pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room were very nice. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

The geothermal pool was way too hot. Perhaps they could find a way to cool it like they do at Harbin Hot Springs, which is where we ended up going for the two days of our stay. We had to pay $99 each for the membership and travel from Upvalley to Harbin each day if we wanted to enjoy geothermal pools. Also a big issue was that they advertised that they had the filtered water dispenser, but is has been out of order the entire stay. We were able to use the dispenser at Harbin Hot Springs. The last day, Sunday, we booked massages at a local resort and will enjoy their temperature regulated geothermal pools afterwards. So in total, we used Upvalley as a place to sleep only. Not really worth it and we will not stay here again. Very disappointed that EXPEDIA WOULD NOT LET ME CANCEL MY RESERVATIONS WHEN WE ARRIVED AND WERE UNDERWHELMED.
