Wonderful experience. My husband had surgery at Virginia Mason Hospital which is one block away from the Sorrento. The staff was super, restaurant a delight and the valet parking made life easy. Highly recommend the hotel if you’re looking to minimize stress for medical visits. Also just a wonderful hotel for any occasion.

The hotel is old but very nice and has modern rooms. We really loved the hotel and would be back in a second. We were able to check in early after a cruise with no issue. The woman working the front desk was more than helpful and very professional with helping us. They went above and beyond

Great historical hotel. Excellent food at hotel restaurant. Would definitely recommend if staying in Seattle.

Nice old hotel that could use updating. The ac unit is really loud which made it difficult to sleep and the room was pretty dark even with all of the lamps on. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful

I like the historic vibes and the architecture. The restaurant and valet parking are excellent. The room is not very quiet as all the street noises are unfiltered, on top of the A/C noise.

An old hotel with beautiful wood carving! Had dining and a bar and valet service.

The hotel is on the historic registry so it does not have the look and feel of a big conference hotel. The beds, linens, and towels are all quality. Our room had dressers for our clothes. We had a lovely appetizer and wine on the outdoor patio after a big day out. The hotel was quiet and had the best hot shower I've ever had.

The historical nature of the property is charming. I received a room upgrade upon checking in, which was a pleasant surprise! Enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was beautiful. It is the oldest hotel in Seattle and understanding that one is able to forgive certain cosmetic flaws but our bathroom in #417 the caulking around the tub was moldy and needs some deep cleaning. The windows still open in this hotel so the window sills need to be cleaned of pigeon poop. There weren’t any robes in our room. The desk leg was coming apart and will break soon if not repaired, btw, a very simple repair. Staff was friendly and bartender was enjoyable to watch prepare special drinks. I would definitely stay again.

My second stay at this wonderful hotel and I plan to be back. The hotel dates back to the early 1900s so it IS old but that just adds to its charm. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The patio restaurant served delicious food and drinks. Service was excellent.
Great location for exploring Seattle.

This charming hotel has very nice and accommodating staff. I had a few last minute requests and changes and Liris Caruajal, the lady at the front desk, made sure our stay was extremely comfortable by upgrading our room and seamlessly extended our stay.
Valet service was also great. I would recommend this hotel for hospitality and clean hotel.

We love the Sorrento and its proximity to Seattle’s downtown scene, sports complexess, etc. Seattle is still recovering from a period of excessive homelessness, rampant open drug use, understaffed policing, and general decline of this potentially vibrant beautiful city. Still many homeless, panhandlers, closed businesses, dirt/garbage/crime are in evidence. Further improvement needed.

A beautiful vintage style hotel with gorgeous wood decor and old school vibe.
Room size was small by today’s standard and a little pricey( a lot of added taxes and fees)

We have stayed in several downtown Seattle hotels that are over 100 years old. This is the best we have stayed at. The staff, food and bar areas are top notch. Beautiful outdoor garden restaurant seating.

Nice older hotel which is quaint but not modern. Tiny refrigerator, no microwave, no usb charger ports at bedside night stands but overall is was clean and nice. Gym was actually exceptional with some nautilus machines which is rare in small hotels.

The property is historic and beautiful. The staff for the most part is helpful and does the best to their abilities. The issue is that the AC is not working and it was 80 degrees in our room. I called to ask for an extra fan, they said they would either call back or bring one up if available. I never received a call back. 3/5, not as advertised due to no AC.

AMAZING Historic Hotel. With SUPERB STAFF and SERVICE. HIGHLY Reccommend!!!!

The hotel definitely has that.. like you’re traveling back in time feel. But it needs updating. No AC but a portable AC in the room. Bathrooms need to clean better especially the bathtub. There was soap scum in ours but didn’t noticed until drained.. that was our experience. Couple next door also complained they had no AC so they were moved to a different location.
I give it a poor rating only due to the managers reaction after I mentioned I believed I had contracted conjunctivitis from the bathtub.. the hotel was the only place I was washing my face. Using towels and lines. The staff that originally mentioned to did seem concerned and said she would issue me a credit. I also mentioned to please sanitize the area because it is contagious. The manager was very unhelpful and condescending. We didn’t feel like we were treated well at all. This was my husband and mine’s experience. Very unfortunate because the building is unique and the other staff were nice.

Very nice stay, staff was okay, rooms very clean and comfortable. Really no A/C to speak of so ask for a fan when you check in. Great food from room service, also a great bakery a few steps away

Nice property with true character.

This is an older hotel with few amenities. The ambiance was nice and the bed was comfortable. I found that the room service was overpriced, but the front desk staff was very helpful. I would stay here again.
