Second time we stayed there. Great location. Excellent service. Nice job with the restoration. The Bar is also amazing.

Lovely, comfortable place!

What a great place! The bar area with fireplace has a delightfully comfortable Old world club feel to it. The relaxed vibe on cool Seattle days makes you want to settle into the luxurious leather sofas, with a glass of wine and dream of days of a forgotten age of adventure and discovery!
An atmosphere rarely found in the many formula hotel chains that the Arctic Club competes with. Glad we found this gem! A tour of the Dome Room is a must.

A little dissapointed that the room was not cleaned on a daiy basis as we were out of body soap and toilet paper and had to ask at desk for it. Tip for drinks in the lounge was automatically added at 20%. Tips should be choice of guest not just automatically applied.
Staff was helpfull and very courtious.
Parking at hotel was $62/ night ( thats crazy)

Beautiful old school hotel with a great location, right at the Pioneer Square 1-line train station. A short walk to where I was having meetings and some good restaurants. Nice looking bar and restaurant that I didn't have a chance to enjoy. Very friendly staff.

All of the staff were very helpful, especially Sharon at the front desk and the valets Santa and Tar. Beautiful property.

Great hotel, and the atmosphere was great

Again a hotel not telling us if they were going to tidy or room and bring fresh towels. Why why why can’t they communicate this?
They really hype the bar/restaurant online but we couldn’t use it because it was closed for a wedding reception or something. And then closed Sunday.
Fun to stay once but we won’t be back.

Just my observation:
First contact is the reception desk.
Lovely and sets the atmosphere for the property. Great!
Second is the elevator to guest room: The elevator interior needs to be refreshed. Floors dirty and edges not vacuumed properly. A notice was glued to wallpaper, removed but strips of paper still remain. Shows lack of attention or detail to job. Wood trim damaged by suitcases or trolleys. Unavoidable but perhaps restored and protected.
This is just my observation but got the same feeling you get when your airplane food tray is dirty. What else are they not doing? Our room was very clean and well appointed. Thank you. We enjoyed our stay and love your hotel. Would recommend it to others. Oh, all employees were very hospitable and professional.

Great overnight getaway for my husband and I. Beautiful hotel with very comfortable beds. Good breakfast. We live in Seattle so we know the plus/minus of being downtown. Yes there are homeless individuals, but we never felt unsafe. The lightrail stop is about a two minute walk from the hotel. There are so many great restaurants and museums to experience. We had great Japanese food in the International District. Hotel staff were all very kind and we honestly loved our relaxing stay.

Such an amazing hotel. Hotel bar was great, front desk staff were super nice and professional. We will stay at this hotel next time we go to Seattle.

Good, quirky hotel that sends you back in time. Ok room—ours was just above HVAC units outside so it was kind of loud. Area immediately by the hotel has a vacant feel but it’s a short walk to cool stuff. Great lobby and Bartelme. Not sure it rates a wonderful tag but I’d stay there again if the price was ok

Fantastic historic building decked out with images of Arctic exploration. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful from arrival to departure. Breakfast spread was great, and the bar area was quite cool. Location on Pioneer Square is convenient for public transit lines, including the Link and many bus lines, along with the ferry terminal. I would absolutely stay again!

Great place to stay! I loved the old architecture and the bathrooms were beautiful. It was just a short walk to Pike Place.

Staff very friendly. Over priced in my opinion. Because we we through Hotels.com we were given the worst room they offer. Lots of homeless people around hotel.

Great hotel and nice, area around hotel dirty with a lot of homeless people because the city is not run properly.

The hotel, decorated in vintage style, is located a few hundred metres from Pike Market; Seattle's main tourist sites are within easy reach.
The lobby is vast, decorated with leather armchairs and sofas, with a spectacular bar area.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, even if they suffer from the passing of the years.
Excellent WiFi efficient and super friendly staff.

Their lobby is very cushy and inviting. They stored our luggage for us as we arrived at 9:30 am, so we could go look around. We checked in at noon. It was terrific. Lovely room & ROBES! Only drawback, shower curtain too short so water got on the floor, and the bathroom light needed to be brighter. Very helpful front desk employees.

The property has been nicely restored and staff were good, but we felt that the area is suffering from a downturn. We can imagine that the historic area was once thriving, but now there is little evidence of commercial activity, empty buildings, lack of office workers etc to make the area buzzy with restaurants and coffee shops etc.
We felt a little unsafe and did not want to walk out after dark, due to homeless people in the area. The situation was much worse in the main retail ‘core’ and from what we understand, other US cities are suffering the same.
Stick to waterfront and Seattle Center areas for a nicer experience.
We may be over reacting, but we are just describing how we felt.

The hotel is a throw back to another time. It's really quite interesting and charming inside.
Unfortunately, it is showing its age in some areas such as stained floors in the elevator. The room was nice and comfy but the view was of the vacant lot next door that is full of trash and the many unhoused across the street.
We were attending the Sunday show for Metallica at Lumen Field and chose this hotel due to its proximity to the stadium. We found that many others did the same so my concerns about walking back to the hotel at night were not an issue as so many others were walking back as well. All in all, this is a nice place to stay and the Polar Club is pretty cool also.

The Arctic Club has a feeling of the 1920s and 1930s. Beautiful dark wood in the lobby and bar area. It has a storied history of having once been a club for celebrities and CEOs and dignataries alike who enjoyed coming in for a drink or maybe a game of cards. The hotel has kept the history and the charm of the past alive. The rooms are lovely, clean and quiet. Staff was helpful, warm and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was superb.

Great renovated older building with character. Just blocks from the Pike Place Market and Downtown Seattle. 5 minute walk to the Courthouse.

There was a 100 damage fee hold we were not told about and we found garbage behind one of the end tables left from peevious guests. Bed was comfortable and room was decent sized.

Wonderful and unique place to stay. Great historical building, modernized for the comfort of its guests without losing its charm. Amazing dining in the bar area. Lovely rooms. A "must stay" in Seattle. Loved it.

A lot of street noise and homeless people around

Too expensive for what it is. Too many drug addicts loitering in the streets around the hotel. Counted 12 addicts lying on the sidewalk within two blocks of the hotel entrance. Had a police car and ambulance working an overdosed drug addict With his pants around his ankles, directly outside the hotel door. I do not recommend this hotel and will never stay there again.

Very friendly staff. Excellent food for both continental breakfast and in bar area. Close walking to everything we came to do.
