The staff was SUPER nice and the rooms were clean and big! Definitely recommend! Also 24 hour staff was helpful.

I liked that I received a room in the back. It was very quiet. The elevator was very small. 3 people with luggage could not fit.

This is a great property close to the train station and Wiesn. This incredible staff makes the trip easy, because they are helpful and courteous.

Great

good. spacious, easy check-in. It will be better if they provide body cream and other amenities.

I really enjoyed my room here at The Rivoli it was rather nice however I found it a little odd that I had to check in at the sister property and was given a key to access the rivoli building as there was a recepetion area but no workers. Staff were friendly and nice! Great area of the city and lots of things to do within walking distance!
3.8
Hotel Rivoli actually doesn't exist, you have to check in with the sister hotel Ambiance Rivoli 2 doors down. Staff didn't explain check out procedures or offer breakfast options, only took me to my room, and explained Ambiance Rivoli is open 24 hours. I also had 2 reservations for the same room, but had to have my key reprogrammed to open the door the second day. They should have explained this at check-in.

Great location (2 minute walk to the U6 train line). Friendly service. Clean spacious rooms. Parking is a bit of a problem. Street parking is almost impossible. Limited on site parking. Lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance.

Rooms are quite nice and big, and the bathroom with large shower is nice as well. The only problem is the window which are old and ineffective to stop the street noise. This is the only problem. With proper sound proofing windows this hotel would be excellent.
3.8
Close to Harras station. Only bad thing was room had a bit of a smell

Although it is mentioned parking place available, there was no free place in a tight parking garage! It is difficult to find a parking place nearby where doesn’t need less than 2 km walking to hotel.
3.8
They wouldn’t refund me my booking! Gave me no explanation. When I called the actual hotel they were very rude, didn’t let me speak to the manager of the hotel, and hung up on me several of times.

good location. easy commute, friendly staff, reasonable cost

Excellent

The hotel was spacious and good for 3 people. However, only 2 outlet was working in 3 people bedroom and gave only 1 key for 3 people.
Also, there were no bed sheet provided for sofa bed so one of my friend had to ask for bedsheet and make her own bed.
Other than that, the location is few stops away from central station and was nice.
3.8
The beds were hard and small. The shower didn’t have door or a curtain. Breakfast was awful.
3.8
This was a beautiful hotel and was clean the only issue I had with it is that there was no door to the restroom. The shower and sink was open to the room so there is no privacy when taking a shower. A little odd to see this there was a door for the toilet

6th time staying at this hotel. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is prime. One block to the U6 and S-bahn lines. Quiet location with a doner stand, 3 bakeries and supermarket nearby.
3.8
The service was very good. The building is old but the location is excellent
3.8
Nice and clean hotel well connected to the city center via Munich's efficient public transport.
3.8
good room size for a single. convenient to train, bus and subway.
a little bit more cleaning could do. i dropped something behind the bed and had to move the bed to find quite a bit of dust balls. otherwise am happy with the value for price.

This hotel is just ok. Very filthy and old. Needs renovation. Everything was old and ugly. The parking garage, the lift, the rooms.. everything. Looks like everything is from the 90's. Very unmodern. OK place for a place to stay for a night with a car just to have a place to sleep.
3.8
Great location, within a few minute's walk from the Harras underground. Supermarket Lidt a block away. Bus stop in front of the hotel.

This place was absoloutly disgusting! There were sticky handprints on out window, stains on our towels,, a dead cockroach, stains and extreme wear and tear on the sheets, furniture, walls and floors. They were doing construction on the first floor and directly across from our room, at 7am I was woke up to loud talking and banging around, the only good part about our stay were the.staff, they were amazing and delt with our issues immediatly and after requesting a different room which they didn't have but moved us the next day to Ambience, the sister home next door which was beautiful. The room pictures advertised for the Rivoli are not the pictures of their actual rooms but of the Ambience hotel next door.

we had a great time as it was very clean and in a good location. The A/C in the room did not work so we had to sleep with the windows open. Other than that the front desk was EXTREMELY helpful and made some wonderful recommendations!
Thanks

Clean hotel. I just wish they honored my request to have two beds. They said that they would try, making me hopeful and I didn't book a different hotel because of it. Made for an awkward stay.

This is a good location. It is a decent area, but still very convenient to the main train station via the U6 (u-bahn entrance just next door). Warm and powerful shower, comfortable bed.Mini-bar water is expensive, so buy a bottle down the street.Couldnt see any air conditioning in the room, but this was fine for me (in September). No complaints.

Hotel Rivoli is great basic hotel. Rooms were very well cleaned daily and staff was very friendly. Breakfast is good and fulfilling with your basic continental spread of hot and cold foods. This is a good solid 3-star hotel. The only negative drawback was if you park in the garage they only have one or a limited number of garage door openers. This was majorly inconvenient! It’s on a very busy street, near a major station with buses; and you’re forced to double park to jump out, go inside the hotel and grab the garage door opener. After use of the opener you had to return it to the front desk. Exiting the garage was ok because there was a pull chain to open the door. This is the only negative about the entire experience and we were there for 6 days. There are food options within walking distance and grocery and basic needs drug store about quarter of a mile up the road.

Paid a bit more for this hotel than others as it looked lovely and on arrival were told we were lucky enough to get the apartment. Unfortunately this meant that we weren't actually staying in the hotel, but in an adjoining apartment. The apartment was really shabby and the staff weren't interested in our disappointment at being misled into thinking we were staying at the hotel!
On the plus side, the location is right next to the underground which is really handy and you are allowed into the hotel for breakfast! The cold breakfast selection is excellent but there's not much hot food. There is free wifi in the apartment but it's really weak.
When you book, make sure you know what you're getting and that you aren't conned like we were.

The staff were incredible! Very polite, and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs. Thank you for such a pleasant stay! :)

Was here before and had a great time. Last trip the wifi was free, this time it was 10 Euros a day (Shame)
Great choice for breakfast,
Location is about 20 steps from the underground station and the S Bahn station (Harras) so after that you are only 6 minutes from the CIty Centre (marienplatz)
I'll be staying here again in the future. - Thanks!!

Overall, hotel was fine! Right next to the subway that takes only 10 minutes to get to the center of the city. The staff was very friendly and gave us free wifi and free breakfast buffets the entire time we were there, even though it says it costs extra on Expedia. Rooms are spacious. The only two things I didn't like: 1) The beds were kind of a joke. Little flimsy cots with bedding that had yellow stains on it. 2) We were on the side facing the busy street, so it was very loud all through the night. That being said, it's a great deal for the price!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Only a 2 minute walk from the train station. The front desk was helpful whenever we had questions. It is a bit far from the city center, but the train station is so close that it wasn't an issue. Would've been nice to have continental breakfast.

Very friendly front desk; of course the "double room" turned out to be barely large enough for one person let alone 2 adults and 2 kids, so we upgraded to a "suite" upstairs, which actually turned out to be one of the largest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in Europe - including an actual "second" bedroom with a door and a very nice balcony. Hardwood floors, lost of character, except the bathroom had a transparent window in it, looking into the main room, which was weird. There's an island on the street outside where you can park forever for free. It's about a 40 minute walk to the Marienplatz, not too bad.
