Great experience and buffet breakfast!

We stayed at the Pendini for 4 nights in a double room and a triple room. The rooms were pretty small in comparison to the others we stayed at during our 4 weeks in Europe. The hotel was well placed in the centre of Florence; only a few minutes walk to lots of key spots like the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery and the main train station.
The hotel is quite old so there is lots of gorgeous ornate furniture and design features, however that also means that sound proofing is terrible - you could hear people walking down the hallway very clearly (and loudly), what was happening in that he bathroom and even the toilet flushing in the room next door.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was pretty good.
Overall we enjoyed the stay but unsure about whether we’d stay again due to the room size and lack of sound proofing.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean and location was fantastic!

The hotel was very nice. But, there is an extremely loud music every night in the Piazza every night until 1am and it literally keeps you awake. We had to get ear plugs and put pillows against the window but it didn't work. Too bad because the hotel is nice, but I would never recommend it unless you plan to stay out until after 1am

Pleasent hotel in central Florence ideal for all the sites, dining out etc

The hotel is in an awesome location, you are steps away from anything you want. The hotel itself is old but kind of cool. They offer a great breakfast in the morning.
We probably received the worst room in the hotel. We had a window that looked out into the Piazza square which would have been amazing, however the Hôtel assembled a giant billboard that covered our view completely. We could hear all of the celebrations below us but couldn’t see a thing. I would have complained and demanded a refund, we were only staying one night and moving on in the morning. We literally slept and showered only.
I personally felt taken by the hotel…. I would never recommend the hotel nor ever stay there again.

I booked two rooms for 4 ppl(two couples) and was aware check-in was at 2. Our plans were to drop our luggage off so we could attend a 10:30 cooking class. Once we arrived the lady at the front desk assumed we were trying to check in early and was unfriendly and rude! She said that I did not inform them that even though I booked two rooms apparently I did not specify there were going to be two people in each room ( couple). She literally rolled her eyes. Once we checked in, I’m sure we got the worse rooms. They were TINY and with no view at all. The room that the other couple stayed in smelled like sewer. I booked this hotel based on the great reviews and we did not have a pleasant experience at all. Needless to say we won’t be back.

The location was absolutely perfect for anyone wanting everything within easy reach. The room was both clean and spacious, making for a very comfortable stay.
When we arrived, the staff member at the front desk did not offer a warm welcome. The customer service could definitely use some improvement.

Amazing location!!! Could not ask for better. This hotel maintains its old Italian charm and feels so “authentic”. Breakfast was great, rooms had high ceilings and were charming. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was simply wonderful! The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and had a wide variety of fruits, cereals, yogurt, breads and pastries, eggs, hams and more. Classical music played in the lobby, halls and main areas. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable. It was very quiet and accessible to everything within minutes. Highly recommended 👍

This is a good property for anyone planing to stay in Florence. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are ok, more towards the smaller size but this is expected in Florence.

This was a great stay for our one night stay! The hotel itself is super pretty! Room was pretty small for just my husband and I, but perfect for one night!

It was a pleasant surprise that we stayed at such an historic place and yet the amenities were so modern. The staff helpful and polite. It’s super walkable everywhere.

An amazing place of a time gone by. Only point that lets this down is the bar over the road that plays music very late.
However the hotel it self is perfect!

It is located in a privileged area, it is beautiful the building, it lacks some maintenance, but access is necessary to enter a ZTL and the hotel is not responsible

My friend highly Recommended me to book this hotel, especially we have 2 sons at 11 and 14, it is not easy to book quadruple room in Italy. I love this hotel, great location with 10 minutes walking to the train station, 6-10 minutes to Uffizi, Gallery of the Academy of Florence, and Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore(Duomo). The room is really big, and washroom is very comfy. The only thing bothered me is the music and song lasted very late every night from the square downstairs.

This was my second stay at the Holtel Pendini and I will definitely be back next time I am in Florence. The hotel is lovely and in a convenient location to see the sights. The staff was super helpful. They went above and beyond when I got sick on this trip and needed a doctor. He came right to the hotel. I can't say enough great things about the Hotel Pendini!
