Our stay lasted about 10 minutes. Overwhelmed by the ge pervasive smell of smoke and mold throughout. Another room would not have helped. Left and spent the night on a relatives couch.

Very professional, friendly, helpful staff. Front desk kept in touch with me via email regarding anything we might need or want during our stay. Room was nice, clean, with anything we might need, bed comfortable. Beautifully landscaped garden/gazebo outside the breakfast area. Great economical stay in St. Charles, MO area. Thank you all!

Everything was great, could’ve cleaned a little better. Room smelled like cigarettes along with some butts hidden here and there within the room.

I made the mistake of booking this hotel without checking the reviews first. We arrived late with our kids for check in and found to our greatest dismay the hotel is in a run down state.
The carpeting was old and dirty and the smell in the bedrooms was terrible. The curtain railing in our room was broken with no privacy and since the front desk said it couldn't have it fixed that night offered to move us to another room which was equally as dirty and smelly. But since it was almost midnight and our kids were tired and didn't want to go through the ordeal of trying to find another hotel that night we decided to brave it and stay the night.
The hallways smelled of weed. By 5am we were awakened to the loud beeping alarm of the carbon monoxide detector and when we tried to call the front desk realized there no phones in the room and had to use our cell phones instead. We checked out in the morning after requesting a refund and went to a different hotel.

Place was filthy, bug infested.

This was very disappointing. The cleaning service just opened out door assuming we was suppose to check out when in fact we paid to stay two nights. Then the first day none of our keys worked.

Exactly what I needed since I am in between homes at the moment, plenty of privacy, my room was a bit noisy with the door In stairwell being so close, but overall did not keep me awake. Wish the breakfast would have been a little more varied, and no milk for cereal all week was kind of a bummer.

It was dirty in the halls, the walls, the rooms, the bathroom. It was a cheap and get you through kind of stay. Bugs crawling on the walls in the rooms & bathrooms. Some outlets looking questionable in our room, pulling out of the wall when removing plug. Breakfast was very little and minimal. When checking in we waited 15 minutes while an alarm sounded up front until the front desk woman returned.
I was repeatedly told *no animals and no smoking* and there was a dog 2 doors down from us who barked and found the room to smell like smoke and people smoking right outside every door!
Not one door locked from the outside into the building, nor the gym door.
Very outdated and not well maintained, but was a place to stay to get by.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Building was run down, carpets veey dirty, chair in room was stained. But the beds, linens, etc were clean and comfortable. One major issue on pur second night though. We were asleep when we heard the door open! They had rented our room to another couple! That couple left and went back to the front desk. A bit later, a staff member came, woke us up again, and i had to show my receipt to prove it was my room. Very unsettling and i was so worried someone else would tey to enter, i couldnt sleep. The morning desk staff wad very apologetic and said my stay was marked as a no show in her system. I showed my receipt to her and she is going to connect withe the property owner. Im hoping for some sort of discount..credit back for the night, or something.

We immediately checked out. I could not have my 93 year old mother & I stay in such a dank, dark, stinky and filthy property. We did not stay. I drove 25 min to a safer part of town and clean property.

The room was in horrible condition! Dirty bathroom with dirty wash cloth on the shower. Bed sheets stained! Rusty old bathtub and tile.

The room smells like stale cigarettes smoke. The walls are brown from lack of maintenance. The nicotine stains are visible on the broken curtains that partially cover
The bathroom is so filthy, I was apprehensive to bathe in it. I decided to wait till I got home.
The carpets aren’t attached to the floor, there are high points throughout the carpet…
The grounds look like some from and “End of the world” movie .
Lumber in the parking lot… The door jam on the exterior of the building is so rotten that a key isn’t needed to enter the building.
I have heard the Days Inn are kind of “low end” but this place shows a lack of attention that you only see in horror movies.
These online booking services won’t refund your money for ANY reason, so once you book you can’t refuse to stay without paying for the room anyway.
Travel in the US is now a losing proposition for most novice travelers. These online services need to be controlled…. Not to mention the local health departments.
St Louis County health department employees should start inspecting these hovels instead of sitting on the fat arses and waiting for retirement.
Note to Wyndham LLC. Get your act together and create some basic maintenance standards. Your lack of attention is affecting your company’s reputation… I guarantee that I will make sure I don’t spend money at at of the motels that you own under any trade name.

There were stains on the carpet and chair. There were marks on the wall. The furniture was damaged. There was a strip of flooring as you enter the bathroom where you can feel carpet tacks or something sharp and pointy as you walk into/out of the bathroom. The light fixtures on the wall between the beds were crooked and moved if touched. Overall the room just felt very dingy. We also felt like we were being carefully scrutinized by staff as we chose food from the very limited breakfast offerings. Signs post that it is single serving and you cannot take food to eat in your room which actually seems like a good idea since our room was dirty enough already. Staff was courteous at check in and checkout. They have an extra charge for the room safe that you might overlook in the paperwork.

Our room was full of bugs and this place just had terrible vibes—not a good environment, we had to leave.

The room stunk. The door appeared that the police department broke into it the door facing and door did not meet together. We put the ironing board there so no one could see in from the hallway. The smell of marijuana in the hallway was bad. The bathroom nasty. Bathtub the drained was rusted out. The floor was damp. Will not stay there again

Did not stay here. First room we tried had bugs and water damage to the wall that smelled moldy with stains on the carpet. Second room had broken security latch for the door and a broken door handle switch plate. Like someone had kicked the door in. The woman working the desk was kind and refunded us without issue.
