Key cards couldn't hold their programming, so any time we took the dog outside we couldn't get back in, necessitating a long walk back to front door. Hard to load and unload the car that way.
3.7
Breakfast was horrible.
3.7
We stay here every year on our annual trip to the Phoenix area. Will be staying again.
3.7
This may be one of the nicer hotels in town (I wouldn’t know because I didn’t stay in there others) but the standards in Salina must be fairly low compared to other La Quintas. The service was pro. The location was nice (next to big gas station, McDonalds, right off I-70) but the cleanliness of the bathroom was not great. The bed was fairly soft. And breakfast opened at 6:30 - so if you are trying to get out on the road super early - no brekie for you.

An old hotel that shows its age. Our first room had sticky floors and a dripping faucet. The second room was only a little better.
3.7
The bed was uncomfortable for my husband. The elevator was very slow we ended up walking down the stairs to leave.Breakfast was excellent. Staff was amazing.
3.7
There were spiders in the room, the floor was so sticky mine and my sons feet were black, and the maid came knocking at the door at 8:15am and woke up my 1 year old, when we had not checked out,
Nor were staying another day and needing service between.
3.7
Room was clean but carpet was frayed. The lamp was missing its shade The bathroom wall had a blotch of a different paint color. One wall in the bathroom had been spackled where a towel rod USED to be. The WiFi was so slow I could not stream Apple TV.
3.7
The walls are paper thin. The noisy neighbors sounded like they were in the same room. The room needs a good deep cleaning

Misty checked us in with a nice smile and a warm greeting. After getting settled in our room we went to the front desk to ask directions to a nearby restaurant. Misty provided the directions and said our choice was a good one. She was right about the directions and the restaurant. Our room was clean and our bed comfortable. We would stay here again if in the area.

Nice place for the time i was there.
3.7
I just needed a quick place to stay while on the road. Pets welcome which helps make the decision. The place was fine, the area and businesses around felt run down but that isn’t La Quinta fault, just an observation.
3.7
Nice remodeled rooms. Comfortable bed. Breakfast average. Pastries were stale.
3.7
This is 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. Convenient for our needs.
3.7
Disgusting to put it kindly. Pool is awful and dirty so didn't get in. Room was horrible and filthy. I only was staying 1 night (thank God) but for the price your better off saving your money and finding another town. Transients roaming lot, lock on door didn't work shower faucet never turn off just spun and spun.lamp was broken floors were gross, rolling chair was broken and fell backwards when I sat in it. Lamp was falling apart. Do not recommend!

Decent enough room but the blankets were stained and the AC filters were nasty. But now I’ve checked out the have tried to charge my card twice and we made sure it was clean before we left. Ridiculous for them to try to charge. Was going to try to stay again but won’t now. BEWARE Watch your card if you try to stay.

We stay here usually about once year this year we noticed it don’t seem like they are maintaining the building none of the outside doors worked which is really inconvenient being as most of the parking is in the rear booked a king room and got 2 beds neither was a king there seemed to be quite a few homeless people hanging around out back which left us a little uncomfortable considering we were there for a local car show with our classic car parked in the rear we were there for several days and our room was never serviced once considering the prices they charge and I understand this is on the lower end in Salina but really is that any excuse?? Overall our stay wasn’t horrible but I think next year we will find other accommodations
3.7
Decent room
Could have been better if there weren’t a ton of cats all over the property
It was creepy and it was hard taking my dog outside because of the cats
Also could have been cleaner

The rooms and staff were awesome but the pool is horrible and was very disappointing
3.7
The pool was very small and needed resurfacing. The shower pan had a crack in the floor with water seeping through it. No water pressure. Uneven shower floor. Breakfast was decent. Overall the motel needs a complete update and is not reflective of La Quinta motels. A number of barking dogs and full time cats were present.
3.7
Spacious, clean room
3.7
People were friendly and it was convenient
3.7
Nice breakfast, but the room needed painted were some repairs had been made
3.7
We stayed here en route to Denver from St Louis. It was the perfect mid-way off-highway stopover.
3.7
Person on the desk did not smile or look at me when talking to me. A half hearted “welcome”. Our reservation through Expedia was for a king bed but was told on arrival that there had been no king beds available all day. Couldn’t cancel so had to take the room with 2 queen beds. White towels were yellowish. No fan in bathroom to defog the mirror. Just disappointed compared to other La Quintas we’ve stayed at.
3.7
Always enjoy staying at this hotel on our road trips, comfortable, friendly staff.
3.7
Everything was clean. The property needs updated a little. But super friendly folks and appreciate the hospitality

It is right off I 70. However, if you are looking for a restaurant with a bar, you have to go into town. We ended up at Old Chicago...We had our pups with us so we ate on the patio. Service and food were as expected.
However, when inquiring about a restaurant where we could bring our dogs, we were just handed a list. The list was not up to date. I would be convenient for them to know which restaurants take dogs.
3.7
The property was so clean
3.7
Room was not clean, colleague suffered from bug bites and staff was unaccommodating when asking for a refund. They gave me GM emails that were not in service, I've had to move my colleague from one hotel to the next and they refuse to let Expedia resolve the issue. Do not stay here.
3.7
Everything was perfect, THANK YOU!
3.7
This is an older hotel but is not bad for a 1 or 2 night stay.
3.7
Enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Available breakfast was great. Would very much stay again.
3.7
Wasn't at all what I expected
3.7
This property lacks everything. Security cameras are disconnected from power on the outside of the building and door cards barley work. Its extremely outdated, dingy and not worth staying. The free breakfast is not edible, it smells like bad body odor. They would not pass OSHA at all.
3.7
The room was clean, quiet, and dark. It was well stocked with towels, which is not always true in all hotels these days. Staff was friendly and easy to work with.
3.7
I have a service animal, so naturally we were put on the dog floor (1st floor). Which was fine, but when we got in the room it was filthy. The floor was disgusting and covered in dirt and dog hair. We had to wear our shoes the entire time we were in there and place towels on the floor, which turned brown with the filth. Additionally, the bed comforters were also covered in dog hair, with drool and dirty spots all over them. Discussing and disappointing to say the least.
3.7
Beds are terrible. Chairs were lopsided.
