Overall decent.
Good:
Room was clean (Minus mold & missing strips around parts of floor)
No foul odors
Breakfast was good (no one attending)
Bed comfortable and no bugs/stains/hairs
Shower spacious and big sliding glass doors
Dislike:
NO SOAP, no toiletries in room (shampoo/conditioner/soap)
Phone doesn't call front desk and doesn't have instructions (took some frustration & # pounding to even call out)
Front desk doesn't answer phone calls
Walls paper thin (had to listen to the s** fest next door battling with their tv volume until 230a.m.

The staff was fine and the rooms were nice, but there were significant maintenance issues. Couldn't get in to one room because of lock malfunction. Another had a non-functioning shower door. One TV didn't work. For two rooms in one night, that's a lot.

It was basic and decently clean (could have been better but not terrible). I was surprised that a hair dryer was not made available in the room nor from the front desk. I would recommend deep cleaning the top decor covers on the beds (we just set it aside), and the corners of the room really need extra detail cleaning. The breakfast options were pathetic. The biggest sticking point was that I was charged MORE than I was quoted (just a bit over but still not what I was quoted).

The room was damaged with blood in a lamp shade. Hotel showed a pool but there was none. The breakfast food waffle mixed was watered down, limited items. 1 small bar of soap and one small shampoo, and no bath tub.

I didn’t stay. I gave the keys back and left. It was dirty, sheets were dirty, the shower was leaky and had a rag over the plumbing. Never ever going there. I want a refund and not even sure I’m getting my money back. Worst experience I’ve ever had.

The bathroom and shower were dirty. Mouse droppings were found in the bed with crumbs. No initial toilet paper, tissues, minimal towels and pillows. The pillows that we had to got smelled like they were sat on and farted on. They turned the phones off so nobody could hear them ring. When the Expedia rep called they couldn’t get through to cancel the next night. This place is a joke do not stay here pay a little bit more and stay somewhere else.

I understand why the room rate was only $69 dollars, but no one was at reception to greet you, the room was dirty. The bed looked someone just took a nap on it. Carpet was coming lose under the AC. The first day did not receive room service, didn’t clean the room or make the bed or exchange the towels. Hotel residents sitting out side the entrance smoking for hours

I could not stay at the hotel it was dirty. People were hanging out in front of the hotel.

This place is gross. Dirty, old, not upgraded at all. Breakfast was disgusting, watery eggs, no milk even though they had cereal as an option. Bed had a big dip in the middle and was extremely uncomfortable.
I asked if they had toothpaste at the front desk, the guy looked around for it for some time and couldn’t find it, and proceeded to tell me that he had some in his room that I could use - that’s not creepy at all. I opted to go to the gas station and buy new.
The little convenience area that has snacks and sodas was cash only - no card, can’t charge it to your room.
Luckily we were there to visit family so we spent minimal time at the hotel. Overall just gross and creepy.

Hall and room carpet poorly maintained, stained and dirty.
Floor in room was sticky, shower area dirty so I did not put bare feet on the floor and did not use the shower.
Bed had clean sheets and all around it was dusty dirty.

We booked with hotels.com to stay at the Belmont hotel in O'Fallon Illinois, when we checked in to get our room there was a couple that were telling us that we need to check our room because their room was never cleaned from the previous tenants. And so my wife and I proceeded to go to our room and the room was not clean beds were a mess trash on the floor towels on the floor . And the TV was still on, the two people in front of us that wanted a refund . And they we're not granted a refund not sure why because the room was in total disarray. And my wife and I have still have not received a refund from us not staying at that hotel as well we had to find another hotel at 2:30 in the morning. They did not offer us another room it sounded almost like they wanted us to stay in a dirty room or clean it yourself I would never recommend this hotel. However I did receive a $100 damage deposit back but the couple in front of us did not receive their damage deposit back when they checked in the same time as we did.

I stayed in room 208 I don’t think this hotel had been updated since it opened. It smelled of Marijuana it was loud and not very clean. It had a sofa bed that had one cushion that didn’t belong it looked nothing like the pictures

The only positive for this property was being greeted by a cheerful “good morning” when were seated having a cup of coffee (no crème other than fake vanilla, no decaf, no tea, no hot water). You could write your name in the dust on the credenza and television. No do-not-disturb signs, no hangers. Back to the food, ran out of yogurt and did not have anymore (6:30 am mind you). This is our second poor experience with a Baymont property. It does not put the whole Wyndham brand in good light.

The place was over all just dirty, our room had ants and some other bug. The doors looked like a dog was clawing its way out of it. Our shower had hair and what looked like burgers in it. The beds were the worse bed we had ever slept in our sheets had stains on them. Just over all gross

The hotel was just ok. The breakfast had some eggs, yogurt, bread, and waffles. And that’s it. We asked for towels two days in a row multiple times during the day and evening and were told they were out of towels since they were at capacity. I booked the room for 3 people and only had 2 towels the entire stay. We saw a cleaning cart with clean towels on it as we were leaving. They never answered the front desk phone from the room. They answered if we called from our cell phone. We asked for clean sheets for the pull out sofa and were given sheets with yellow stains on them. We did eventually get clean sheets. The coffee maker in the room looked like it had mouse poop in it. We plan to visit the St. Louis area often and I will never stay here again.
