Hotel had signs posted about the lack of room cleaning service available and if we needed new towels to go to front desk, that was communicated very clearly and we appreciated the honesty. For the room, it smelt like a wet dog and I stayed for 5 days/ 4 nights. The first 3 days i woke myself up to constant sneezing and stuffy breathing. The A/C - Heater did not work very well and upon inspection the unit was HEAVILY dusted and seemed to be working on a short lifespan. Unit turned on maybe once a day, did not have a fan in the room so the small amount of airflow it did provide just made the room that much more stuffy and harder to breathe. The shower handles were set to opposite directions, hot was blue and cold was red, not a major infraction but slightly confusing. Water was hot and or cold when we needed it to be but the shower head had a hard water feel to it. Personal preference, the water was consistent and reliable. Toilet flushed very very well, almost too well because it sounded like we woke up the neighbors every time we flushed. Personal preference again, it worked and functioned properly. Back door to the hotel was left unlocked the entire stay but there was only a few cars in the lot at all times so that was not a major issue but a safety concern for sure. Mattress was definitely older and we could feel ourselves in a sunken-in divot in the mattress and there was springs you could feel moving around trying to find any comfortability.

This la Quinta is one of my favorites. The staff is some of the friendliest people that I've ever met. They are all extremely knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for the guest. Danielle is particularly caring in that she truly go see extra mile for every single guest, this is what sets this property aside from the rest! Also why I will stay no other place while I'm in the Lakewood area!

Took almost an hour to get checked in possibly because the girl needed more training. The front desk girl in the morning would not give us an extra 30 minutes even though we are Wyndham rewards members and I had list my mom the night before. I also heard her being very rude to someone about an accessibility room.

The first night was terrible, a lot of door slamming and rowdy people shouting at each either at 2-3am. Some random girl was on the floor charging her phone in the hallway by my room most of the night. Don’t think she even had a room. Also think someone was trying to get in my room Friday night. Some towels had hair in them. My pillows cases were visibly dirty. The second night was perfect, peace and quiet. The AC was honestly the best part of the stay. Had my house painted this weekend, so I needed a quick stay while they worked and I had work.

Amazing staff, comfy beds & a great safe environment plus close to many of the things we enjoy! Hiking at Red Rocks, shopping & dining in Morrison, golfing at Foothills then Def Leppard concert at Coors Field. Price was right very clean!

We need more cleaning, especially in the bathrooms! The breakfast service was terrible, there was never anything after 8 am, if you asked for waffle flour they said that was all for today. The only good thing was how friendly the cleaning ladies were when you met them in the hallways.

Very clean facility! Beds were comfortable. Light breakfast was sufficient. Suggestions: Could guests purchase snacks and other items in the hotel shop by charging items to their room or using cash? Could guests have the waste baskets emptied during their stay or have larger waste baskets? (We stayed for 3 nights.). Could guests have more than 4 cups in a room with 2 queen beds for 3 nights? Otherwise, we loved this hotel and it’s location and price. All staff extremely courteous!!! We hope to be back!

The location was good to south Denver, where we needed to go. There were also many restaurants within driving distance. The hotel itself is older and needs to be updated. The room and bathroom were clean and the lights, air conditioner, toilet and faucet all worked. Not so good, pillows were horrible, did not get a good night's sleep! Breakfast was lacking hot eggs and protein, only basic foods. Main concern, the doors to outside WERE NOT LOCKED, even though sign said it was locked 24 hours. It did not feel safe as lots of people going in and out at night. I used the outdoor pool which was ok. There was an unpleasant trash smell, though.

Do not recommend this hotel. Dirty, door knob on door broken, hair dryer did not work ( although the maintenance guy was quick to repair). No water available to purchase. Not enough help in the morning for breakfast. No coffee available at 9:am. For the money this was not satisfactory.

Over half of the parking lot was closed for resurfacing. Back door of the hotel was unsecured and broken. Breakfast service was not properly kept stocked. No butter. No milk for cereal. Juice machine broken. Out of drink cups. There was no one available at the desk to tell. Just a sign that said “we are out for a while to attend to someone’s needs.” Also there was a sign in the elevator saying they permanently discontinued maid service??

Average hotel. Room was not well stocked upon our arrival but staff helpful in meeting our needs. Breakfast continental with wafflemakers. If you got there after about 8:30, there's a good chance they would be out of waffle batter and coffee and the bagels would be frozen. Convenient location for Red Rocks Amphitheater and groceries, etc.

Breakfast buffet was limited on selection, actually went to Village in later in the morning to supplement the fare that was available at LQ. Paid way to much for the room.

It was an ok stay. The hotel was older which wasnt a big deal but none of the doors going outside locked, or even fully closed after leaving. It could definitely use some TLC. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, toast, bagels, danishes, cereals and yogurt. Not horrible but could of been better. The room wasnt bad. Comfortable bed.

I was very disappointed in this La Quinta Inn. When we arrived, we had no ice bucket, no wash clothes, no do not disturb sign and no working phone. Also no water glasses in the room. We stayed for 6 days and the room was only cleaned twice. Lakewood is a regular vacation spot for us but we will never say at La Quinta again.
