Great service, clean, was dated but inexpensive but the heater was broken ~ blowing out cold air is my only complaint . They did offer to switch my rooms, but I was already settled in for the night, so I just dealt with it. Not a bad place to say, if you’re looking for something inexpensive, just to sleep and shower

Our room was as clean as it could be but the room had a very stale musty odor. The air conditioner was very noisy and loud so we shut it off and opened the window as much as was allowed. The window did not have a screen on it and the interstate was directly behind the m hotel, very noisy also. The security door at the bottom of the stairs did not latch or lock, did not feel safe. Breakfast was a no go, very little to no food available. The whole place seemed very old and in desperate need of a through update. Carpet in hallway was ok but room carpet was shabby, paint on walls chipped and furniture sturdy but very worn. Outside concrete was cracked, buckled and unlevel. If there had been another room anywhere in town we would have taken it. Staff was very friendly and responsive to requests (remote didn't work).

This place is an absolute nightmare. We booked 2 rooms both if which had broken doors, tv's that didn't work crusty used towels and blood on the sheets in one room. Front desk lady was extremely unpleasant when we asked for another towel as our room had 1 towel. It may be cheap but it sure as hell isn't even worth that. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. Wonderful smell of meth in the hallways to start your day as well.

1 1/2 hour to just check in. T.V. didn't work. Phone to call frot desk to report the problem didn't work. I walked to front desk to report problems and was just told "Sorry." Tried to pay cash for room with a credit card as backup in case we trashed the room, (we didn't) and was told that I had to pay and extra $400 cash or just pay it all on my credit card. They evidently didn't have a way to pay for room in cash and use card as backup. The person managing front desk was gery rude and definitely unhelpful. Was told it was the owners daughter. Have had great experiences with other Super 8's-- HATS OFF TO YOU IN CODY WYOMING!!-- yet would never tell anyone to spend their money in Gillette!

The stay was restful and got the job done for a single overnight stay. The check in was odd as i arrived at 830pm and the room was not ready. They were cleaning the rooms (not just ours) creating a backlog of arrivals. Front desk woman was nice and i could tell she was obviously trying her best despite the situation. We had things to do so we were happy to kill time but we had a tired 1 year old and we needed to press them. We came back and had to basically rush the room cleaners because they were taking too long. Also had a door malfunction that they knew about but hadnt fixed. Again, we were willing to put up with some things bc it was only a 1 night pass over stay. All in all, we walked away happy, but hotel could use some simple repairs.

We have been roadtripping in 20 states during 3 weeks and this was by far the worst hotel we stayed in. Un fortnately we had to stay 2 nights dur to oilchange for the car. The price was totally too much (180 $ a night). No light in the bathroom and it didn´t get fixed even though we told the frontdesk within 20 min of arrivel. The zink could not drain, the room was VERY smelly, and the beds looked like someone allready slept in them.

I booked and paid for this stay for my father. Upon his arrival, The front desk informed him that he could get a cheaper rate and would cancel my already booked room. They proceeded to charge him their new and improved rate, which by the way was $27 more than what I paid. My father is elderly and when I called to find out what happened, and why they told him this, knowing they cannot cancel a third party booking, they informed me that they never said that and the manager was out and didn't know when she will ever return.

The desk clerk seemed to be preoccupied with other business going on not very friendly. We thought that this was going to be very clean due to the lobby being so clean and fresh smelling. We were disappointed in the room smelling and the sink in the bathroom was dirty. The bed was very hard overall not what I expected from a Super 8.

There was confusion with a new staff checking us in. She contacted the Manager to correct everything but it was not a smooth check in. They apologized and offered help the remainder of the stay. The toilet in my room did not flush well. There was no coffee creamer but there was milk.

Staff was friendly helpful tried their best. First room was gross, hot and the door wouldn’t lock and the key card didn’t work. They moved us over a room and then the tv didn’t work they were going to fix the issue and never did. The breakfast wasn’t the best, only had water to drink. The First Lady that checked us In was new and could not answer any questions or do anything. You can tell the owners are trying to remodel and do their best

Didnt have any linen in the bathroom when I checked in. The room was very warm and with the wall mounted AC it took a few hours to nake it comfortable enough to sleep. I asked the front desk for towels to shower with and was told Ivwould be brought some. I had to go back again because after more than a half hour I hadnt teceived them. On top of all that, the room had an off smell to it.

The room was disgusting, chairs were so stained, there were stains on the comforter and on the towels. All i wanted from driving 12 hours is to take a nice shower and clean bed but nope, I had to sleep in all a layer of all my clothes just so i wasnt touching anything. And just because a hotel is a cheaper price diesnt mean it doeant have to be clean!!!!

First room the outer door handle was broken. Management opened the door, the smell inside the room was terrible. Second room looked cleaner, however we opened the refrigerator and old food inside had a horrendous smell. Went to front desk and asked for a refund. Went to a different motel. Must say the manager was very apologetic and seemed sincere. Hopefully we'll get a refund for the bad two rooms.

Works for a night to sleep. Our operator button on our phone in the room didn’t work so we had to call the front desk from our cell. Had to go get our roll away ourselves. Internet signal is too weak to connect to it.

It was so smelly and grossly dirty we couldn’t even stay there. Smelled of urine and smoke throughout the entire place. We checked right out as no way we would be able to sleep in that rat hole. Are awaiting a refund but doubtful we will get one. We booked at another hotel for the night.

Our room smelled horrible- so bad that all of our belongings stunk when we left. The guy at the front desk was on his second shift and was very nice. Called the manager out to help him with a question and she came out in her pajamas looking already p&&sed off. Was so rude and made me feel bad for the guy. She needs a little training with her people skills.

I think they are still remodeling since the new locks were install with a large hole still ln the back of the door. Room was nice and very clean. The complimentary breakfast really needs work! No fruit or milk, the scrambled eggs were mush like, and the link sausage were extra/super greasy. Only had Raisin Bran for cereal, only a couple of miniature muffins were available (about 6 total in basket). Only the poorly made instant eggs and greasy sausage were available to anyone with a gulten allergy.

Our room was dated but clean, and the bed was relatively comfortable. Beyond that, it was a big NO! Ice machine was broken. And breakfast? Waffles but no forks to eat them with. Cereal with milk out of open containers in the fridge. Nothing else, not even juice. At least there was coffee. Creepy vacant rooms with missing doorknobs in the hallway. You can wash your hair in the shower if you’re under 4’ tall. Also, there is no elevator, so beware if climbing stairs to upper levels are an issue.

The Super 8 in Gillette was a convenient and affordable place to stay. The room and bed were comfortable. -- Please note: The motel offers a very basic breakfast, including two choices of cereal, waffles, bagels & muffins, scrambled eggs with bacon/sausage. If you want eggs and sausage/bacon you must show up at the beginning of breakfast. They have a quota on how much they put out for guests. If you arrive after the insufficient quota is met, you are out of luck. The motel should advertise this policy or increase the quota to accommodate guests who come to breakfast later in the service window.

When we got there there key card system was down so Everytime you wanted to leave your room and get back in you had to find a staff member to let you back in your room or was told to just leave the latch between the door. Sit was a big incovience
