Fantastic location. Not only within easy walking distance of the hub of the old town but right next to the beautifully lush Parque García Sanabria with its fountains, sculptures and interesting displays. Bus stop right outside main entrance. Lovely hotel restaurant. Room with balcony was clean and bed comfortable. Great to have a decent-sized fridge but I was missing facilities to make hot drinks. Spar store next door much appreciated.

Check in was efficient but room was vey basic with low quality furnishings and very poor lighting. Shower had a mind of its own and it would easy to get a very sudden rush of very hot water. Pool area was worn and the surrounding decking in need of repair.
This is the only hotel I’ve ever stayed in that charges (2euros + 8 deposit) for use of a pool towel. Location of the hotel was quite good but beyond that it is a Travelodge type of hotel.

Amazon staff, food and service. Great location!

Staff very good. Breakfast also. Reasonably priced. Its on a nice street. Needs a bit of a make -over tho to be honest.

location was good. staff at the front desk need training , they were not customer friendly. Official check in time was 3PM and I was there earlier but nothing was possible. They were very short about this that not a single room would be ready before 3PM ... I have stayed in hundreds of hotels so this is nonsense. Anyway worst was that the wireless in the room did not work and they had no knowledge on how to fix this and they simply told me to work from the lobby and that it was too bad that it did not work... really.... After strongly objecting this they finally gave me another room. You had to ask for a towel for the swimming pool which by the way was freezing cold. When I did they told me that I had to put down a deposit which was surprising since you are a hotel guest and they can put in on the room however they wanted money instantly and it had to be cash????? I told them I only could have it charged to my credit card or bank card but no no cash no towel and they said that an ATM was at 800 meters...

Wonderful stay in the heart of Tenerife’s capital. Beautiful old hotel with fantastic views of the harbor and mountains. Rooms are small by U.S. standards but by European ones they are fine. Beautiful veranda lends itself to sipping coffee watching the cruise ships enter the harbor. Breakfast is sumptuous with fresh squeezed OJ and lots of variety. Pool is small but that’s not what you go to this hotel for. Walkability is excellent with the park and ramblas nearby. Dining options are equally good with many restaurants within a block or two. Only downside is parking. There is none. You have to find parking on the streets and that’s a chore. Otherwise we highly recommend!! We will be back!!

A very priceworthy hotel. The tv could have been placed fronting the middle of the doublebed but apart from just just perfect. The breakfast is fantastic.

Brief overnight after ferry journey. Difficult journey from port because every traffic light at red. Estimated 13 min journey was over 30 mins. Receptionist was grumpy because we were so late - although still in advance of midnight. We were disconcerted that parking was off site and expensive. Bed huge. Room hot but road outside not too noisy to have window open.

Window looked out to the lift corridor so doesn’t feel private. Lots of disturbances as noise as people socialises in the lift lobby which the rooms only window looked out on.
Apart from having quite a few interruptions in my sleep during the night because of this everything else was ok

Overall good. The food was in general good, but the days where with buffet as dinner was disappointing. The employees was very friendly and helpful. Good location and clean.

The hotel is in a pretty convenient location, only a short walk through the park to the main part of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English very well (helpful since my Spanish is very bad). The only downside is the room wasn't overly clean - the important parts like the sheet and towels were fine, it was more just things like cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling and a few splatters stained on some of the walls. Nothing disastrous, but could have been slightly cleaner.

The water in the shower was intermittently boiling and freezing. I could hear the neighbours partying in the middle of the night and smoke smell came through the vents. The safe did not work. The staff was kind but the premises were mediocre.

Upgrade the room and asked for a bath tub
Didn’t get one
Went half board,never again!
Evening meal was soup or salad
Spaghetti, chicken with rice or fish with veg
Dessert was fruits or ice cream
It would have been cheaper to go room only and have access to the full menu
We weren’t even offered a drink, just a bottle of water on the table
Breakfast was OK but nothing special
A good place to stay just don’t bother eating at the hotel
The water pressure in the shower was very low unless you had it very hot
We booked a balcony but it was nothing like the ones in the photos

First time in Santa Cruz Tenerife, really enjoyed the ambiance, the food and the friendliness of all staff, only caveat is that some staff couldn’t understand English and it was difficult trying to communicate things, but the overall winner and stand out moment was meeting Juan Carlo, the gorgeous lifeguard and Cristian who served me wonderfully in the bar! The views were stunning from my suite!

Good: clean
Bad: location, service, rooms, fares, facilities and common areas look from 50 years ago - don't trust the photos.
I booked the cheapest room. When I arrived I realised it was tiny, had a sofa bed and a bathroom size window facing an interior ugly patio with no light. I asked in the reception for a double and exterior room; had to pay extra. Service was slow and didn't know how to change my room. The new room was exterior and double, but facing a small street with a small window again. The window was old and didn't work, there was a loud bar downstairs in the street and I could not sleep until 3am.
Overall, I recommend choosing one of the other big hotels in the city, they have lower fares and are newer.

Hotel room overprized. Definitely not a 4 star.
Bathroom was small. No space around the vanity to put anything on it. Bedroom was very basic.

Very good hotel. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Lovely parks and short walk to shopping centres. Public transport to hand. The only problem that lost this hotel points was the pool & roof top solarium were closed for the winter. This was not drawn to our attention when booking. We did not have a balcony so had nowhere to sit & relax in the sun within the hotel or grounds

Nice experience. Very quiet and peaceful. A very nice place to be either if you are on holiday or business

The hotel needs good mgmt. The bar/coffee shop is out of ingredients daily, food is very limited and has a lot to be desired. Bartenders and servers, although very nice, are inexperienced. There is no restaurant, it's closed to the public, the pool was closed and no spas services. There is no porter service. The rooms are small, the bar/refrigerator does not offer anything other than two bottles of water (complimentary), the shower area is not fully enclosed, there is no bathtub, not all the lighting bulbs are working (even after reporting), parking is difficult or not offered, cold attitude by staff, management is not accommodating and seemingly careless of their flaws. No tours or expeditions are available, no suggestions or promotions are offered. Location is good, views from rooms are great. Place is clean, beds are comfortable. However, the rating should not be more than 2.5 stars. It's not a welcoming hotel.

Stayed in this hotel while enjoying the Carnival in Santa Cruz. The hotel gave us an excellent deal on breakfast.
Good location, quiet, yet not too far from the centre.
Would definitely go back again.

Definitely not 4 stars. limited food choices and the quality is quite low.
Junior suite smelled horrible especially in the mornings and nights. The smell of drainage coming from the toilet was nauseating. The staff said that they'd work on it but didn't follow through.. Don't recommend for families

The weather was Terrible it rained all day. We needed an umbrella so we can walk around the area. The staff at the front desk gave us a broken umbrella. We asked for another one and they wouldn’t give us one because she said it was for sale, we had to walk around in the rain.
Not very accommodating to the guests. The day before the guy at the desk gave us the umbrella that she wouldn’t give us, it was the same umbrella she said no it’s for sale!

The best hotel in town / We loved this hotel / although a bit old and outdated the rooms are huge and the suites are even better .Breakfast is fantastic , the pool is nice and the stuff is friendly and helpful /
The building is a kind of exception in Lanzarote as it is the only high rise building in the whole island do you ask yourself how they got a building permit ? that said it is still a good hotel I recommend warmly

Nice hotel only 10 minutes walk from downtown Santa Cruz. Room was a reasonable size but disappointing there was only one chair at a desk to sit on during the day. Good breakfast although sometimes slow to replenish items that were popular. Also disappointing the restaurant was not open in the evening with only snacks available in the bar, but this is probably a seasonal thing. Santa Cruz is definitely worth a visit for those who usually to just head for the main resort areas of Tenerife.
