we booked this hotel for the livingroom - so we could work together, but the furniture was so aweful, you sunk into the couch so bad, you could not sit on it comfortably.
So we had to leave and work downstairs - defeating the purpose of renting this room, at this hotel.
the furniture was so old I think they had not replaced it since 1970.

Customer service was outstanding. Cleanliness of property was good. Only real issue was bathtub shower didn't drain very good. When my wife got out of the shower I had to wait at minimum ten minutes for it to drain. When I finished showering I was standing in water shin deep. Would also be good to have metal foldout racks for luggage to sit on.

I enjoyed my stay with my 2 grandkids. Having a seating area with a full size table made it nice for them to eat and color. The pool and hot tub area was nice. The breakfast buffet had good options or you could get the chef to make you something.

Not the best Embassy we’ve stayed in. Patches in the carpet, room smelled of marijuana, folks upstairs stomping around late into the night, room would not cool off, could hear the rollers on the trash cart rolling up to the dumpster right below our window, and tub/shower needs attention.

This hotel is showing its age, although for the most part it still looks pretty good. We stayed in a corner suite, which is the best room at the hotel according to the front desk. Despite this, there were stains on the chairs and the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom.
It's an old school Embassy, so it has an open atrium. At night it was quite nice, with ambient lighting and quiet music over the PA system. The bar was not a good experience, however. Twice I went down at about 8:45pm and was ignored by the bartender. Both times, after about 15 minutes of sitting there I had to flag the bartender down. The second night the bartender chatted up a small group of other customers, repeatedly walking by me without acknowledging me. I bartended for 31 years - this is not how bar service is supposed to be done.
We've stayed here several times over the past couple of years. It's unlikely we'll stay there ever again.

So the first night was horrible. The AC was out, it as HOT and couldn’t sleep. The second night they finally had the AC working at 9pm

We enjoy staying here when we come to Lubbock. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and we really enjoy the made to order omelet breakfast.
For our anniversary we stayed in the honeymoon suite. It is nice, the jacuzzi tub is great. The double shower has some valve handles that don't work or fall off, had to do a little hardware maintenance to get it going. There is definitely some updating and fixing up that is needed. Overall, we were comfortable and had fun, but for the price of that honeymoon suite I am not sure I would stay there again, unless it gets fixed up right.

Needs to be renovated. Very old.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas and amenities are nice as well. However, the rooms are very outdated. The furniture is in disgusting shape. Large stains and they look like they are from the 90s. The carpet appears to be a brown color, but when you take a closer look it is very dirty red and green carpet. I can’t recommend staying here.

The hotel and itself looks nice, but it is very outdated and needs extensive repairs in their bathrooms and updated tubs. The cleanliness was OK but not great.

This is the second stay in the past year. In the first stay, there was a water leak by the bathroom sink. They placed a huge fan in the room to help dry out the carpet. The carpet never dried and the sink continued to leak.
On this visit, the room was freezing and the thermostat did not work. They came in three time to correct the issue, but it was never corrected. We had to turn the air off and on to try and regulate the temperature. When I reported the issue to the manage, he said he would look into it.

Loved it. Inside is open are airy. Pool area great for kids. Used restaurant for nice dinner for all. We were able to sit outside in a comfortable secluded area. Bar was a plus. Suite was large and comfortable. Could use some minor updates but size and comfort far outweighed that. Will definitely will stay again

When I enter this Hotel it’s nice to see the way they greet you and then take care of you. I was tired from traveling and they made it easy and comfortable for me and my sister. Thank you Michael at the front desk!

The overnight desk receptionist was rude and uncaring about a safety concern we presented to him. Also, the staff (parents too obviously) allowed children to run around and play all over the hotel, going up/down the elevators, playing chase, screaming all during breakfast and reception hours.
The staff working the breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful, they had excellent customer service…

It was the weekend that everything was hacked so the only complaint I had was showing up at check in time but couldn't check in until about 10pm that night but the staff at least kept me informed and did offer us to stay at a different hilton so i appreciate that. Honestly glad they were able to check us in because we almost drove 4 hrs just to go home that weekend

Stay was room 119. Sounded like someone was moving furniture above us all night. First housekeeping knock was at 8:30, then 9:30, then 10:00. Pretty annoying.

I was driving in and called and asked for an early check in since I had to be across town at 4:45pm and wanted to have time to change. Around 2pm, I received a call that my room was ready, which was great timing for me.
My room was very clean and comfortable. I had more space than I needed and enjoyed how quiet the hotel was. Even though the hotel is right off the highway, I never heard any road noise. In fact the only noise that bothered me was when my upstairs neighbors came in late and were stomping around, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.
I love the layout of the hotel with the indoor courtyard areas. It really is pretty.
I didn’t get a chance to attend the manager’s reception, since I had another engagement.
Breakfast wasn’t quite exactly what the pictures show from the hotel page, but it was still delicious. I saw waffles, oatmeal, honeydew melon, cereal, bagels, muffins, biscuits, eggs, potatoes, yogurt, and more. My favorite though was the build your own omelet. Just tell them which ingredients you want, and they cook that to order. I’m on a strict diet, and I was able to eat. There was coffee (both hot and iced) available as well. I do wish they had prepared meat like bacon or sausage on the buffet, but there was some in my omelet.
I’d be happy to return for future visits should I return to Lubbock.

While the appearance on the website and in person was impressive, sadly there were issues as follows - swimming pool was emptied for apparent repair or maintenance, ice machines were out of order and it turned to scavenger hunt to find a working one. Strangely the cleaning crew showed up 30 minutes prior to check out asking my wife if we were checking out soon? They then lingered around until she gathered our things to leave. Strange. Luckily it was a one night stay.

This property needs to be updated. The lights in the room flickered. The lamp at the table didn't work and it was difficult for me to work.

Front desk staff was super friendly, hotel is very beautiful and worth the stay. My girl and her friends enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We would definitely be staying here again.

Our room was not ready at 4pm for check-in. Took almost 2 hours for it to be ready. When you've traveled 8 hours you would like to be able to check in on time.

Great stay besides , there were a bunch a boys and girls(10) throwing a ball in the pool and hit my kids with it. I asked the front counter help to address and they did not. That evening the same kids knocked on my door and ran off. These kids ran and wondered all over the hotel . Also they stayed in the pool with there parents outside of the pool all day not supervised. Staff did little to remedy my situation.

It was an amazing, beautiful place.
With lots a plants, waterfall/pond with fish,
a lot of sitting area, all inside, where you didnt have to stay in the room, you could sit out, eat, snack, and watch tv.
Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, and very roomy.
We enjoyed this place as a family.
We would definitely make it out hotel to stay when we stop in Lubbock..

Hotel is feeling tired and out of date. Toilet in bathroom was old and not too functional. Service and breakfast offering still good, even though we didn’t eat there.
Lobby and dining area seemed dark.

The Hotel is being renovated so the rooms were not the best - however the location is really good for TT stuff. I have alway loved Embassy Suites. This one is just older. After the renovation it will probably be really nice. By the way the People were great.

We enjoyed our stay, the location was perfect for everything that we needed, parking was easy, staff were great, and the overall hotel was very nice. We were a bit disappointed that the pool was closed but we understood the situation.
