Good place to stay. Love that it's pet friendly. So many goatheads around. Friendly staff.

Location is great. Hotel a little dated

Very quiet and away from the craziness, however it is 12-15 min away from the lake which is fine when they have a pool to keep kids happy when its hot. However, while we were there they closed the pool for a couple day so our kids were bummed. 1st night due to drinking and drunks at the pool my kids left the pool after 15min and the next 2 days closed for cleaning. If you are choosing property for the pool for kids just keep in mind. Other than that its an older place but clean and staff is great. It was quiet and worked fine for what we needed it for.

It was a great detail for $49, unfortunately it was a lot more.

Easy and convenient location to Bullfrog marina. Rooms are as expected for such a remote place. Comfortable and clean rooms, mini fridge, and quiet. Late check in had my bill and key hanging in an envelope at the front desk with others hanger in the same manner. I would recommend if the Defiance hotel at Billfrog is not available, which was our case.

It was really clean!🙂

It was quiet, clean and comfortable.

They were not very helpful at all, also one of the main reasons we booked this hotel was to enjoy the pool all together and they did not notify us the pool was closed. Very upsetting

Great location!

Paid $160 for a night, which we usually do after Lake Powell camping for the kids to swim. The pool was closed this time, but with the high price it’s disappointing to not have any amenities.

The website advertised several amenities that were not available or open. The "Basecamp" store has been closed for 2 years according to staff, yet it is advertised as open on their website. The pool was not open. The restaurant was not open. Even though they do ATV tours out of the lodge, no one could or would direct me to the sights that we wanted to visit. Staff was very rarely at the front desk. Even though there was a large area for a continental breakfast area, the front desk staff was very surprised when I asked if they offered one, as though they never heard of such a thing. We have been visiting Lake Powell and the Ticaboo area for over 30 years and an ATV trip out of Ticaboo has been on our "to do" list for several years. We finally got the opportunity to do the trip, and while the scenery was fantastic, the lodging was very disappointing

My only complaint was that the blinds didn’t really keep light out. The room didn’t seem dark enough at night and first thing in the morning it got super bright.

Ticaboo Lodge has made some nice improvements lately. This was probably our best stay!

The place is convenient to Powell but for $340 a night, the house was in bad shape. The cockroach’s were all over.

Welcoming, courteous staff.
Nice, clean room.

We have visited here several times with our sxs and boat and it is very convenient to park both. The staff is friendly.

Firstly, the good. The staff was kind. The pool, when open, was nice.
Now the bad. The AC in the room would make a terrible, loud screaming noise at times. In 4 nights, we had 3.5 with the AC off since no one could sleep through the noise. Maintenance never came to fix it after being notified. So those were some hot, sweaty nights.
The room was never cleaned nor restocked with toilet tissue even though the sign requesting maid services was on the door.
Guests also have to pay for ice and to do laundry if you can find a machine that isn't out-of-order. For the cost of these rooms one expects better.

thank you for providing a comfortable place to stay after a long day of working

Remote and isolate.

Ticaboo, what a unique little town. Its so quiet, peaceful, enchanting. We visited with our can-am, and rode the many trails of the area. There is so much land out there. The sights, bluffs, many colors of rock, and sand. Ticaboo has put a spell on me and we are coming back again, and again.
If only we had known there wasnt much accommodations as far as the restaurant on sight being shut down, and the convenience store. The fuel pumps are operational at the convenience store. Which was good for our hungry can-am. Highly recommend staying there and riding the many trails in the area. Truly a magical place.

This hotel was excellent. Very nice and clean. However, it did not have a restaurant. It is very remote. The only place that offers food is the Sinclair gas station which was closed when we checked in. They do sell frozen dinners and it was kind of funny to be stuck like that. If you are going to stay, know this and prepare -- bring your own beer or arrive before the Sinclair station closes. Great coffee in the lobby, but that was all -- no breakfast (which was not advertised). This lodge was in the right place for us and we enjoyed the stay.

Needs a bit of updating but the area is remote and has had owner changes. Bed was comfortable rooms were roomy. Place is about 12 miles from Bullfrog Marina. No breakfast, but coffee always available and a toaster is there for use

great hosts. Property in the middle of the desert is nice to have. Nothing fancy. Great scenery.

This is definitely a great place to stay if you are exploring the southern end of Capitol Reef or hanging out at Glen Canyon NRA for a few days. We were road tripping from Torrey to Santa Fe so it frankly was not a good fit for us, we opted to keep driving.

They changed per night for electricity to charge a boat. I’m not happy we didn’t know about that in advance. Shame on them, and shame on Expedia.

We had a great stay at Ticaboo Lodge. Thomas at the front desk was especially helpful and knowledgeable about the area and sights to see. Definitely would stay again!

There was no one at the desk when I arrived at 8:30 PM. My keys were hanging up in a welcome packet. Easy access and a great room. Even a cup of coffee upon my departure. Wonderful. I would stay a week if I could.

great staff. food options were very limited

The rooms are fine but no one is at the front desk. They have an onsite restaurant which would be handy in this rather remote area but it seems to rarely be open

We were pleasantly surprised by the Lodge. Great check in experience, large clean room, comfy couch - it was nice to relax in after a days drive. The shower had great water pressure! Bed was a little on the soft side, but a nice quiet night. Only complaint was paying 25 cents for ice, not that that breaks the bank, but fortunately had change on me, usually don't!

The pool was very nice.
