Nice room

Everything was great until I went to take my shower Sunday morning before I left and discovered the shower didn’t have any cold water. The water was between very hot and boiling hot, so I decided to wait until I got home and take my shower. I did report the problem to the front desk. She said she would have maintenance repair it.

The website state $20 deposit but when you get there they want $100 deposit which is a bit expensive for the area it’s in. They need to update website.

I've been in a lot of hotels in small town America, and this one ranks as one of the worst. The hallways felt like poorly placed plywood with carpet loosely on top - I was convinced I was going to fall through the floor as I walked to my room. The curtains in the room did not connect in the middle, so I had to use a pants hanger to get the room darkened. The furnishings were past their prime, including rust stains on the lamps and torn lampshades. The toilet ran all night. The shower was tepid at best and pooled both in the tub and into the bathroom. The walls were paper thin so that I could hear my neighbor snoring.

The hallway to our room was very hot and humid because of no AC. Once we got to our room, there was a strong musty/mildew smell mixed with a “chemical-like” smell. Front staff was very helpful in trying to get us another room even though their availability was limited. That room didn’t have the number of beds that we needed but it also had a mildew smell. We opted to stay in our first assigned room. The staff gave us Lysol to help with the smell. Later in the night, we realized that the AC was leaking water on the carpet saturating it. The toilet randomly “screams” at times. Early morning, the toilet stopped working because of the pump inside of it. My husband fixed it to get it to flush. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. The breakfast staff was very efficient and was constantly cleaning and restocking. Staff was very nice but unfortunately the hotel is just in need of major renovations.

Worth the money

Great breakfast, pet friendly and excellent staff. Limited local dining options, the workout equipment is extremely aged, the flooring on the 2nd floor hallway and the shower floors were not level, which made it difficult to navigate.

The entire hotel smelled like musty mildew, and when we got into our room, our sheets were almost wet because it was so humid inside the room that carpet felt wet. Everything felt very wet.

The outside looks news but the inside is old. Bathroom tile warp from year of water, stains on the sleeper couch matress. Issues with double booking the rooms with customer services. Had to stay because they already had our money. Need few hours asleep. But normal would just left . Very disappointed!

The room was definitely clean but had a terrible odor to it. It smelled like it was an old smoking room. The staff was amazing. The only other issue is that they charge our card way more than what we were told it would be. The room we stayed in was not worth the money that we had to spend on it at all.

Pool is really nice. The room was clean. The bed was nice and soft with really good pillows. The tub/shower needs updating. The tubs paint was peeling off.

My niece graduated and the hotel was so accommodating to us. Let us use the dining area to gather with friends and family for a couple hours.

Shower was kinda of funky, whole set up for handi cap but tiled floor let water get everywhere

Difficult entrance. Musty smell of the room. Very bright outside night lighting without ability to completely close blinds.
Front office staff was courteous. Breakfast was fair.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel needs to be updated. Tiles were loose on the bathroom floor and there was no stopper to take a bath! The bed was extremely high from the floor. You almost had to be a gymnast to get into the bed!!

We enjoyed our stay and were happy with the breakfast setup

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. But the bathroom was fairly outdated (floor tiles cracked with dirty grout, thin towels, etc.). I think the $203 charge for one night even with a senior discount is an overcharge -- we've often stayed in the pricey Seattle area at an IHG hotel with a kitchenette, sofa sitting area, hot breakfast and more for less than $175. Was surprised this room was so expensive.

Disappointed not my usual Holiday Inn Express experience. We had a whirlpool tub that we didn’t request. We tried it and the jets wouldn’t come on. The shower had two temperatures, scalding or cold, it wouldn’t mix. The sink didn’t have an aerator meaning water splashed everywhere. And the room had a musty smell.

They did not come to do maid service until 6 at night. The toilet didn’t flush well. The rate was elevated a lot because I chose to pay at the location. Told me I could cancel my last night with paying for it, but I didn’t not get any money back

As we settled in we learned that our shower did not turn on. The faucet was broken. *wouldn’t the cleaning crew realize that had they actually cleaned the shower after the last tenants??
The staff was night and got us a new room. However when we were in that room the toilet did not flush. Upon investigation, the inside mechanism was broken. So furthest of the night we flushed by pulling on the chain.
Ver disappointed in our stay overall

From the moment we got there, the staff was rude, and not helpful at all. they checked us in, gave me the room key and said thank you. i had to ask where the room was, and they acted like it was a problem. total rudeness all the way around at the front desk. even when we checked out, the guy was rude, and acted like i was bothering him. the room stunk when we got there, but we didnt say anything cause they made us upset. we had to kill a couple bugs crawling in the room over the weekend. Total dissatisfaction. The only positive, was the breakfast, and the ladies in the breakfast area. we were totally disappointed in our stay. we will never be staying at that location, nor will we be staying with any Holiday Inn anywhere!!. A credit back to us for our stay would be the right thing for you all to do. we hope you are not as rude as the staff there. we will be awaiting your response back.
