Mountain peace!!

It was nice. Kinda hard to find cuz it’s in the middle of a bunch of buildings and not marked well. But we found it and had a good stay.
4.4
The property was great and serene. The staff was great as well. Nice place to getaway. The restaurants on site were not so good. That could use improvement. The breakfast buffet did not measure up to the photos online.
4.4
Staff was great! Nice, old school vibe to the place. Short walk to the lifts. Valet for $18 for the whole stay and they’ll dig your car out of the snow! Good breakfast though expensive in St. Bernards. Only complaint is that the sound proofing should be better in the rooms, but overall was a fairly quiet place so not a huge deal.
4.4
Great location and the most helpful and friendly staff imaginable. The rooms are what happens with not enough maintenance and ski resort scratches and scrapes. The rooms could use a full upgrade. Everything is very old, some curtains torn, etc.
4.4
Beautiful view of the slopes and ease to the slopes. Clean, comfortable accommodation. Outside deck of restaurant was a great apres spot

staff were amazing very friendly and helpful!!
we got $100 worth of fruits and veggies and all spoiled due to the mini fridge freezing everything!! but the location is great right on the lift.
there are 3 restaurants one is a pizza place which is fine, honey comb has ok food nothing much and st bernards has not such good food but since there is noting else to eat in the village we had to use those restaurants. snowboard here is great

Snowboarding and skiing were awesome

We were incredibly disappointed with our stay here. The inn at Solitude is old, poorly maintained, and dirty. Our sheets had multiple stains on them. What looked like blood and the other big stain was yellow. We stayed for 4 days and our room was not cleaned once. The amenities they have are incredibly limited and they don't even open the pool or jacuzzi until noon so forget about any morning relaxation. We also got locked out of our room and couldn't find a front desk person for 2 hours. When they state there's 24 hour concierge services but then left the building without anyone here for hours. It was just not a good experience at all, especially for the money they charge you.

Property staff were always in a good mood and super helpful with all requests
4.4
Room and furnishings above average. Walk to Apex lift. Staff super helpful and attentive.
4.4
Very helpful staff. Greta location short walk to ski lifts.
Old elevator system with one out of service.
A few restaurants in area. Shuttle to Brighton was very busy with long waits.
4.4
Great location and the staff were all so attentive and provided great customer service
4.4
No room service during our stay. Had to ask for towels, TP, soap, shampoo.
4.4
Really friendly and helpful staff. Ski vacations in the Cottonwood Canyons can require some flexibility when big week long storms roll in. We were fortunate to have 60+ inches arrive during our stay, but that amount of snow can tax the operations and staff. Despite the challenging conditions and road closures, the staff at the inn were reliably accommodating and always brought a smile and great attitude to all of the interactions we experienced.

Beautiful Setting, very friendly staff.

Expedia appears to overextend itself when it comes to the “Gold,” status perks. The hotel doesn’t even seem to be aware of the benefits that are extended to the customer. When I mentioned some of the perks they act surprised. Personally I don’t care, but stop advertising these benefits if they really don’t exist.
4.4
Nice slopeside hotel. Rooms are nice with fridges. Staff was friendly but not over early helpful. They did not recognize ANY of the VIP perks that I was promised with my reservation, in fact they all acted like I was crazy when I asked about them. I booked their specialty to use my VIP points that I had earned and take advantage of the perks. So I’m my mind they did not hold up their end and should not get VIP status on Expedia.
I feel slightly cheated.

Excellent location

Would have been nice to know there was no air conditioning room was really hot the fan provided did nothing. This should be noted on listing somewhere

Great stay. I didn't have a chance to try the restaurants; however, I loved the hot tub areas and my room with a view of the courtyard (complete with striking clock) was great (I normally prefer slope-facing but didn't mind). I cannot wait to return when all the facilities (bars, etc.) are reopened next winter!
This place is fabulous and will be my main site for ski holidays henceforth. I have stayed at other properties at nearby Alta and find that the design at Alta/Snowbird to be extremely bizarre and offputting. Solitude and Brighton got it right!
4.4
This ski resort is so pretty. The architecture of the buildings and the layout was great. The rooms were dated and the carpeting smelled in our room. The bed and pillows were super comfy! Bummed that the restaurant was at capacity and we could not eat there - wanted to feel like we were in a village, instead we had to drive to another restaurant for dinner. Limited breakfast too. Ski hill was awesome!

The website states rooms are cleaned daily by housekeeping. Thai never happened over the three nights. One small bottle of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was given. No amenities, not even Kleenex was replenished. No trash service. Expensive for $1000 for 3 nights with only a check in and check out counter.
4.4
terrific location right at the base of the mountain by the apex lift. Beautiful view, spacious room. Clean, and staff were great. The electronics in the room are a bit dated, and only modestly effective. Also right next door to honeycomb restaurant which was a great place to eat-limited menu but good food and service. A really nice getaway for us during covid season.
4.4
The Inn at Solitude is steps from restaurants, ski shop, gift shop, pool / hot tub, and most important the ski lifts - no need for a car here.
4.4
The photos do this little INN zero justice. It's a quaint mountain resort w/ lovely people who run it. The ONLY complaints we would have is the food is so so and there are no vending machines for misc drinks or water.
4.4
Great location, nice staff, functional hot tub. Breakfast buffett was overpriced and not great. Rooms were comfortable, but a bit out of date.
4.4
Last minute booking made, due to rough (for driving) weather forecast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Valet and front desk team dug our car out from ~ 4 feet of snow! Thank you :)
4.4
Everything was just sort of “meh” ... staff who answered the phone couldn’t provide information about parking, beds were lumpy with rough sheets, very little to do at night.
Staff in the restaurant were very nice, views and convenience can’t be beat, there was just nothing about the stay that would make me want to return.
4.4
Great Quiet place for families! Excellent Skiing!!
4.4
Staff was awesome. Rooms were dated and need to be updated.
4.4
Expensive dining. Average other rating options- and limited. Hot tub small and closed another day. Not alot of offerings
4.4
Beautiful property, very quiet surroundings in the village of solitude. My concerns were regarding dirty bathrooms for public use, i.e. One bathroom in hallway near spa was dirty and had no toilet paper nor paper towels, the other bathroom next to the restaurant was so bad it was not hygienic at all so I went up to my room to use my bathroom. Also not a lot of available restaurant choices in solitude.
4.4
The entire staff was extremely supportive and helpful during check in and out. Awesome location to the lifts and facilities! Had a great view of the slopes and was very tranquil.
4.4
Inconvenient parking situation
4.4
Great location, surrounding area restaurants were fantastic.
4.4
The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be back. Ben and Sam were exceptional staff. Chef at St Bernard’s was awesome.
4.4
Very quaint inn in a very quaint resort. A nice get-a-way. We were only there for 2 days. Seems the right amount of time.
4.4
Very cool amenities and setting right next to the ski slopes. Clean lodge. Lots of great buildings and options for whatever u like to do at a ski resort. World class resort.
4.4
My first experience was excellent to me and my family. The staff is very nice and help us to any time. The ski activities is amazing, food is good and transportation is great. The St. Bernard Restaurant Personnel was excellent and the place is very comfortable. Thank you for all attention to us. I hope to see you next year.
