The rooms were spacious the hotel staff were all incredible. When we arrived late the front desk offered my kids hot chocolate. In the morning the breakfast staff were kind and accommodating. Over the top service. The bathroom had a bit of an odor at points. Almost musty. The shower could definitely use a renovation but for the money, we were very pleased. The spaciousness of the room and the impeccable service made up for the outdated showers

Our family spent one night at the hotel after playing whole day in the Busch garden. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast includes cheese omelette, scrambled eggs, turkey and pork sausages and biscuits and gravy. Sadly the waffle machine was broken when we got there. Otherwise, everything else is fascinating.

The room was large & clean with a lots of space. The bed was comfy & we asked for extra pillows. The bathroom & shower were clean except a spot on the wall behind the toilet. Overall the hotel was very clean, quiet, and walking distance to lots of restaurants, movie theater, and a 1.5 mile walk to colonial Williamsburg. (The train did go by several times a day but nothing a noise machine will drown out at night).

My stay was very nice. I arrived very late and feared my room would have been canceled, but it was not. The clerk at check in was especially nice and friendly. The room was very clean and met my needs. The hotel is located about 5 minutes from colonial williamsburg and the College of William and Mary, so the location is good for both of those. Overall a good stay.

Checked into a room that smelled horribly of mildew/mold. Request to change rooms was successful, got room that was less smelly. Hotel is in good location, near university. Nice pool, decent weight room, clean rooms. Beds were uncomfortable/sagging, breakfast poor quality.

Front desk staff were so pleasant and helpful. Beds were comfortable and clean. Indoor Pool was pleasant and the kids enjoyed it. Kid-friendly, quiet, continental breakfast was good. Convenient to colonial Williamsburg, the outlets, William and Mary, and Jamestown. We’ve stayed multiple times and never disappointed.

Very nice property. Good value for the money. Great location - convenient to W&M and quite a few nice restaurants. We didn’t eat breakfast but when we popped into the breakfast area for coffee. True breakfast area was clean and tidy and looked like there was a good assortment of items to choose from. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a very nice two-night stay in July. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is secure and I felt safe at all times even though I was alone. I had friends who ended up staying within a couple minutes but I found their hotel noisy and was happier with my choice. Location was very convenient to everything but I spent most of my time in Colonial Williamsburg and Merchant Square which was just minutes away.

This is my second time staying here… The room is absolutely amazing! So nice clean comfortable huge I enjoyed every second of being in the room. It’s beautiful. The breakfast was decent. No issues with that. One issue that I do have is the $100 deposit That they take at check-in literally takes 10 days before it’s returned! That is absolutely crazy to me! Because of that, I was not going to stay here the second time, but the location is perfect for my friend that I was visiting… Again, the room and service are amazing. The hundred dollar deposit return fee needs to be revamped.

Our room was covered in ants. All over the bed, the coffee machine and the whole room. Our room was missing 2 chairs, towels, and our blind was broken. We asked in advance for adjoining rooms and was told at check in that they didn't have those kinds of rooms, we get to our room and it was an adjoining.

Check in was quick and easy. Hotel was clean and quiet. The only down side is the beds were uncomfortable. Need to upgrade mattresses. The breakfast was good for the price but most of the food was cold and needed to be heated up in the microwave.

I booked this for the wrong night. I was one week off. I realized a mistake immediately and contacted Hotels.com to see if I could fix it. I was told that the Holiday Inn express refused to allow me to move to the night I intended, even though I was willing to pay an up charge. They were willing to keep my money for a night I couldn’t stay there. So they suck.

I was so very impressed with the room and the cleanliness and comfortability. I absolutely loved my room!! When I left, I knew I would definitely stay here again I don’t like that they take $100 deposit on hold And at checkout, she said it would post back either the same day or the next day But it is now day 5 and still not back. So not sure if I would stay again. I would give them a 5 star if not for that.

The hotel clerk Tony was very friendly. He greeted us with a big smile and was very attentive to our checking in. We asked about where to dine and he was very informative regarding different options. Our room was very nice and clean. Tony upgraded us to a suite like room.

The food was excellent (I ate only breakfast there). The cleanliness of the food area and surrounding tables was very good - I was delighted to see a manager on site, making sure things were running right at all times. Front desk staff was speedy and efficient. Not sure the drawer in my room was fixed properly, but maybe they need to do more work on it.

The bathrooms toilet are to low should be upgrade to a 17 inches 0r higer especially for people who has hip replacement or knee replacement I had a hard time using it

Bathtubs are peeling big chunks pieces on the floor and bathtub place knew about and still uses rooms they said renovation people used wrong paint i should have been moved or money taken off my bill this is a safety issue
