This hotel is an excellent place to stay. Comfortable - I am a picky pillow person and the pillows / bed were great. The lobby was nicely decorated for Halloween. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We traveled with our dog, who was also warmly welcomed by the staff - dog treats ready.

Multiple things need fixing like the shower water could not be turned off And the fridge would not turn down and froze everything in it And they were doing construction on the toom above us all were unacceptable

Pretty standard for Hampton Inn. Hampton Inn used to be our go to, but becoming less pleasant with each stay. Room was pretty clean. We're always put in a room facing the back of the hotel. Breakfast was their standard breakfast, which is good. Signing in to the internet should be 1 click, free & no nonsense. Even fast food chains make wifi simple. Said they couldn't print our receipt the next morning because we used Expedia... no other hotel has that problem, even out of the country.

Hot tub was broken second day but worked on the next day. We didn’t get clean towels on the second day, but we weren’t told we had to request room service at check in. Desk then gave us new towels. We didn’t know that all rooms didn’t have refrigerators, but the desk got us one. Overall, the lady working the desk was awesome, but some of those things should have been told to us when we made our reservations.

The hotel is very close to Colonial Williamsburg. Room was clean and comfortable, but in need of remodeling. The staff was very nice and accommodating, especially the breakfast staff...they were amazing. The hot breakfast was delicious and different every morning.

The property presents a pleasant environment when you drive up. However, inside shows need for updating. Our television gave us issues and we had no refrigerator in our room. The carpet is from a past era and the furniture showed signs of better times.

This was a 3 night stay in a king studio suite. Room was a nice size but had no privacy from the outside, room located on the 1st floor directly visible to the parking lot, no blinds, only black out curtains which we had keep closed for 3 days so we didn’t have people looking directly into our room. We also had to get our room key changed 7 times in 3 days to access our room & the digital key option was not available from the Hilton honor app. The mattress was too firm. The front desk & housekeeping was very friendly and accommodating. Their customer service made the negative issues bearable. We recommend updating bathroom tub to a walk in shower, moving the bathroom light switch next to the door instead of next to the toilet behind the door and adding privacy blinds to the 1st floor front rooms. We may consider staying here again.

We booked a non smoking room months ago but when we went to check in, the desk attendant told us that we had booked a smoking room and there was no way to change as they were booked solid. We looked at the room and the smell of cigarettes hit us as soon as we opened the door! Even the windows in that room were filmy with smoke residue. We contacted Expedia who verified that we did not ask for a smoking room and were able to get us into a nice Comfort Inn across the street. Don’t trust this hotel!

Wanted a much cooler room. Thermostat would only allow 70° and no less. We were throwing bed covers off all night, not a very restful night. Outside plants REALLY needed watering!
