There were no luggage karts available and when they were asked, the response was they are somewhere in the hallways, you will have to just go look. When we asked the concierge where the ice machine was the response was I don't know. The ice machines were outside and didn't work. I attempted to get a drink out of the drink machine and it took my money, nothing was dispensed. There were people in the in-door water park with no wristbands on. All in all the only good thing I can brag about was the sunrise.

Great stay. The weather was cold but there was so much to do with our kids

Our family has been enjoying Myrtle Beach since 1976!!!!! And this Thanksgiving visit made another year of memories. ‘Til next year!!!

The property itself was well appointed, but the unit 507 was worn and beat. It really needs updating. There were 2 TVs, but one did not work at all. It was sitting on a dresser in front of a large mirror, so you couldn't use the mirror. Bathroom was very small. Sink in bedroom should be removed, so bathroom could be expanded. The workers were very nice.

Everything was great. Nice view in the room, helpful staff, room was clean.

Check in was very easy and the staff polite and knowledgeable. Rooms were very clean and spacious.

Motel and amenities are very nice. Area safe. Check in time was a little later than expected . Room was spacious and for the most part clean. It was only an overnight stay, so I wasn’t too concerned. I have some pictures of things I found that were not clean in the bathroom and kitchen area.

TVs would only work every now and again.
Bathroom was made for someone 4 ft tall.
A/c worked! And worked and worked cutting on and off every 2 mins.
I had to repair the stove to make it work.
Safe in roof did not work.
Ceiling was cracked all around.
All and all I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend

Everything was GREAT at Dunes Village Resort we will be coming back. The view was exactly what we wanted facing the beach. It was very quiet and peaceful. We were placed in the older building, could stand some upgrades but it was still nice. Nothing to complain about. The employees were awesome check in was easy. I dont remember the young lady that checked us in name, but she gets 2 thumbs up👍👍. I have recommended Dunes Village to friends & family. Access to the beach, game room, water park was quit easy. We planned on eating at the restaurant but we didn’t make it, definitely next time. Highly recommend staying there.

This was our first time staying here, but definitely not our last. Staff was courteous and helpful. Our room was awesome. It had a fully stocked kitchenette with dishes, pots and pans. A full size fridge and microwave. 2 Queen beds and a sofabed. A little apartment away from home. Very clean and strip accessible without having to drive too far. I'm in love with it. Best part is access to waterparks on the premises for FREE with stay.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was ok, but tasted like factory food. The rooms are dated and low end and “ok” for clean but I would not recommend it to anyone I know.

Well it’s almost November and when booking the stay the key part to a family friendly hotel with indoor water park would be the indoor water activity should be warm. The pools were way too cold for children. The hot tubs were warm but not hot. In the rooms there was 2 queen beds that when u moved they made such a horrible noise, there is no way you could do anything in those beds without the whole room hearing you! Not to mention the few bugs we found in the bathroom. And the water stains on the ceiling over the beds. We were told on the phone there is a complementary breakfast, that was a complete lie. 13$ for adults is crazy!

Our reservation was oct 7-12... but we left on the 11th. Because of a family emergency back home. The room was very nice. Our only small complaint was that the stove did not work well at all... But everything else was clean....

I had a good stay but I must say the check in clerk Wendy was amazing. She was so polite professional and informative. She stated she was new but I have been there several times and she was the best.

I enjoy the amazing view coming from my balcony facing the beach. All the appliances in my studio were brand new, but was so comfortable to sleep in. The staff address any concerns that I had professionally. The gift shop and employees were amazing.

The room was very clean and nice, beautiful view from balcony. Desk agents were friendly and helpful.
Hotel seem understaffed, the hallways and elevators were dirty and there were always piles of towels and bedding outside rooms. Pools were nice, just a little over-chlorinated.

didn’t like having to park across the street in a multiple level garage. the stay was amazing and a breath of fresh air. the tub was flooding and they came right away to fix it

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. Fantastic for kids. Daily activities plus two water parks with fun slides. Away from the main strip so not as crowded on the street.

Hotel was clean, but rooms are in need of updates. Parking garage across the street is a little bit of a walk considering we was in the farthest building. Pools very clean, staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again

I appreciated King Studio Suite because the living room furniture was recently replaced. New TVs and beautiful oceanfront view. Very quiet and peaceful.

It’s great for family vacation.

This was our second year staying at the Dunes. We truly come because of the water slides and water park for our son. He loves it. Very close to the beach and can’t beat the price.
Not “the Ritz”, and room service comes every 4 days (which we didn’t know). If you aren’t super picky or bougie, would highly recommend for kids/families.

The room wasn’t the best. It had mold in the bathroom, the shower wall had cracks in it, and one of the chairs in the room had cigarette burns in it. Will have to say the pools were nice and seemed clean and really liked the location.

The pools and beach access were great. The room itself needed a deep clean. Overall a nice trip

We enjoyed our stay very much. First day just after checking in we asked to have the air conditioner unit checked it was not working properly. Never did see
Maint and the room never really cooled as needed. Half of the outlets did not work. Unable to charge phones etc. staff was great. I feel like the hot tub should be adults only. Kids jumping in and out of hot tub along with spitting in the hot tub. at one time there was 8 kids in the pool around age 12 to 4 no adult supervision.

Last minute trip for our anniversary and end of summer trip. Wish we could have stayed longer!
4.0
The view was great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Room was clean. I saved a lot money since the kids enjoyed the water park so much they didn’t want to go do anything else which was great!
It would’ve been excellent if all the eyes on the stove worked since I was traveling with three toddlers and wanted to cook. The bed a little uncomfortable but it’s bearable if only here for couple days.
