We had a nice four day stay, me and my daughter, meeting up with friends who also stayed here. Great pool area and service around the pool. Also great spa facility. Personell serving at dinner was really helpful and nice. We had one encounter at the breakfast where the person serving was a bit rude and expressed frustration since we were taking a seat outside next to our friends (and other guests) when he wanted to start preparing the table for dinner service, and told us to sit inside. We complained to the manager, and got an apology and a small bottle of wine and snacks for the inconvenience. Besides that, we had a great stay.

For my opinion the hotel is very nice.
The position is not bad. Not in the center but about 1000 m walking distance. Similar distance to the beach.
The pools and the sunbeds are very busy always [summer time]
Most of the staff is doing the best but some of them just are there...
The breakfast and dinner is ok but in my opinion needs to improve the quality and the variety. There are not many choices for salads and sea food. Some of the foods are cooked again and again in different ways.
The room service and the evening preparing rooms needs to be improve.
Thank you ❗

Great stay , upgraded to garden view room which was nice, great food options for all , great entertainment options thoroughly enjoyed , especially aqua dance. Plenty of sunbeds , and the housekeeping was exceptional, a special thank you to Theresa.

A large and beautiful hotel surrounded by a giant garden with trees, plants and flowers. The food was varied and good with a good selection both for breakfast and dinner. The rooms are large and nice, but lack coffee/tea facilities. The pools at the hotel could use an upgrade, as the tiles had started to wear in some places. The employees who worked around were always cheerful and pleasant and service minded. A little minus that there were a little too few activities for our son (10 years old), but all in all a good experience in a hotel with a high standard.

The friendly staff.

The management was very helpful. We had dietary requirements and they created a special dinner menu for us for the whole of our stay. 😊

Toiletries , towels , linen are at best 3 star(need to up their game) , hotel itself , Thalsoo and staff are onderful

Spotless clean.

We usually stay at The Lopesan Costa Melenoras but as it was full we booked Lopesan Villa Del Conde and we were pleasantly surprised. Lovely hotel, very peaceful and tranquil. Felt less busy and more of an exclusive feel than the Lopesan Costa. Both hotels are superb and would recommend both.
4.5
Outstanding hotel in all ways, at an affordable price. Right on the beach. Right across the street from the convention center, short walk to shops. Will Stay again.

Almost 5 Stars, but never take the dishes, while the guest is still eating, do not tell the guest “it is not allowed to …”, but think how to make it possible and never let the guest think she/he is cattle in a maschinery to be milked for money! At least, when you show 5 stars and wan to keep them.
4.5
Does not compare to other five star hotels elsewhere. Gran Canaria in general feels tired and outdated and this hotel matches that vibe. Maybe it was nice twenty years ago but now just feels like a lazy tourist trap. Not elegant, and service is not five star at all.

We stayed here for a week. The Resort has a very limited vegetarian options. If you are a veg don’t pay for half board you rather try the food outside. Everything there has fish in it even salads so got to be careful with the food. Their daily shows are ok, Massages at Spa is complete waste of money. If you would expect to apply authentic oils and massage then this is not for you, we had lot of expectations but we were totally disappointed. The ocean views are great. I would rather suggest to use their Thelasso experience to use Spa facilities.
4.5
Amazing place, even though it’s built like a labyrint. Will take you a day or two , to know how to get around. Some of the rooms start to need an upgrading.

Everything was as expected having stayed in the sister hotel Costa Melonaras. We thought the buffet arrangement here was so much better. It was less frenetic and the queueing was very manageable.
The poolside restaurant was great for lunch. There was a swimming pool to suit every guest type.
The bedrooms were equipped beautifully and we would happily return to your hotel.

Overall very nice but also very stale. Check in upon arrival was an hour after the booking said and when asked what we should do whilst we waited we were just told explore with no indication of direction. Entrance way feels five stars but after that everything is pretty standard. Clean but didn’t feel like 5 stars.
4.5
The lobby looked very impressive but nothing else about the hotel matched its star status. The breakfast was bad quality, fruits were rotten. The room never had a tea/coffee tray and one had to even pay for water beyond the first complimentary bottle.

Having stayed at this hotel a few years ago and having read some recent negative reviews we approached our holiday with some trepidation. For us it was ill founded as we found everything still to the same high standard. The reception area still has a wow factor and the grounds are immaculately kept. The bedrooms are spacious, yes there are no tea/coffee facilities but the Spanish do not expect to make their own drinks in a 5* hotel! This is a large hotel and trying to cater for a lot of people brings its challenges. Dinner is served in 2 shifts which are rigorously adhered to, it’s clearly not everyone’s idea of a 5* arrangement but then I don’t think any buffet is commensurate with a 5* standard. As buffets go it is extensive and well presented. When we stayed it was fine, when the hotel is full, it can be a bit of an unpleasant scrum.
4.5
Very nice hotel and great staff. Only negatives is that the breakfast restaurant doesn’t have enough tables outside and it’s not that nice indoors. Also the lunchtime menu is disappointing.

Best hotel in Meloneras area

The bedroom was excellent, very spacious and superclean. There were lots of swimming pools and breakfast was excelllent but dining options were limited..Akso property had thin walls and therefore very noisy. Also air conditioning was set at 22 degrees celcius and could not be changed. Some reception staff were rude and there was no concierge service, instead we were asked to walk 15mins down to sister hotel for help.

We spent 4 days here and we had q fabulous time.
The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The gardens are beautiful. The pools are lovely and apart from the bigger swimming pool it’s not difficult to find Sun loungers. If you want to be round the big pool you’re best off reserving a lounge before breakfas.
The food at breakfast was reasonable. The dinner buffet was less than I expected for a five star but it was reasonable.
The best thing about the hotel is the staff. From reception to the restaurants to the animation, everyone is lovely and helpful.
The animation team are fantastic. We enjoyed all the activities which we normally never do at other hotels. We joined in the Aqua Gym, Bingo, Pool Bike etc and we had great fun.
The kids club is lovely and the animators are great with kids, and there is plenty for the kids to do all day long.
The night entertainment was pretty good. We liked the Four Way Band and the Circus show is outstanding. On Friday evening there was a very loud and awful three piece band singing mostly Spanish Rock and Pop which is not everyone’s taste. We escaped to the pool bar where we found a great singer and DJ.
Personally I think the entertainment is missing the band from years ago. I think they were called Sentinel. Before there were always people dancing in the plaza at the end of the night and I feel the hotel is missing the same atmosphere from before with a Smart band starting the evening, then the show

Very nice hotel. Big room. Large pool. Restaurant with good selection.

Great stay , food was fantastic, T Coffee should be in rooms for a 5 star hotel and water should be available free

Honest review! I was here 10 years ago and it was a 5 star hotel. On plus side is really clean and lots of space to sunbath. However, for foodies the food was not great, lack of choice at breakfast and dinner. The service was not 5 star. I don’t know any 5 star hotel that you have to go and make your own tea and coffee from a machine. The staff, overall, friendly but definitely not a 5 star check in at all or check out. I had issue with my room doe to noise and was told I had to wait 2 days to move. In addition, nobody checked to see how my room move was, how the overall experience was at checkout. Having travelled extensively, this hotel is an average 4 star in Europe. The price is good value for money, I paid £100 a night. Not for foodies or those expecting a 5 star service.

We had an amazing stay enjoyed every minute ..fab location great pools .. no problem getting sun beds ..great choice of food … standard room was very big and spacious and very quiet at night

It was our 4th visit to the hotel, the staff and service they gave were exceptional. Sitting with a drink, in the shade or the sun, the hotel had everything for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

All fur coat and no knickers
Lopesan hotels we famous on the island for having large grandiose beautiful structures and common areas. It’s true they’re magnificent.
But, and this is a big but.
The service is truly horrendous. You can tell the staff work in a bitter atmosphere, reception staff (all 10 different people I spoke to) were cold, dismissive, overly casual and gave the impression even basic questions or requests were a waste of time.
I usually stay in 5 star hotels on the island 6-7 x a year usually in big suites, so am
Accustomed to excellent service. This was unfortunately a terrible experience.
Breakfast food on par with 3 star and no change at all in options from one day to the next.
Redeeming features:
Room was decent sized, if in need of modernisation.
Free parking is good.
Well located hotel
I wouldn’t stay again.
Do yourself a favour, pay a tiny bit more and stay at the world class Bohemia Suites & Spa, a boutique 5 star hotel in playa del ingles. Truly the rolls Royce compared to this let down of a hotel.
On a last note this hotel is mostly peopled by Germans on package tours, so mostly caters for that demographic.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff and good service. Great location

The hotel resembles a traditional Canarian village in style with beautiful tropical gardens. Food quality excellent. Staff friendly and professional.
4.5
Great pools and spas.
The food was not great. Including the breakfast buffet and restaurant near the pools. The food at the small restaurant closest to the ocean was horrendous, specifically the hamburger. Very dry and like paper. Service was subpar.
We did like the kids club but wish they had longer hours. (Only had 1.5 hour increments).
There was a medical emergency while I was there. A guest went into cardiac arrest and staff seemed very Ill prepared to do CPR/get AED and they depended on the guests with medical background to assist.
The rooms were nice. Although sometimes didn’t get hot water from shower
4.5
The hotel is amazing but badly let down by the restaurant. Had to queue every night to get in and food was not good quality for 5 star resort

We loved this hotel. Slightly away from the main drag but close enough to walk to the many shops and restaurants on the promenade. Our standard room was spacious but main criticism was lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Marvellous, lovely stay.

Fabulous hotel and the staff make this hotel very special!

Very nice entertainment program around Christmas and New Year

Delightful hotel. Beautiful gardens. Very comfortable room. Lovely food unless you are vegetarian or vegan

We had a very good stay at Lopesan. The hotel is sprawling and has great facilities such as the spa, which is amazing, and a number of different pools.
The rooms are well sized and are comfortable.
However, there are a few small improvements that the hotel should make, especially given the room tariff being charged of guests - in our opinion, this makes the hotel 4 star not 5 star as advertised.
Some of small details include:
We asked for a kettle in our rooms so that we could make some tea in the mornings. We were provided with kettles but then had to ask for cups separately. These were then all taken away the next morning by housekeeping.
For our last morning at the hotel, we asked for a late check out. I was told I couldn’t get one whereas my friend got one. As a result, I had to check out at 12, then come back at 1.15 to be given a hospitality room to have a shower. As a result, I had to move my bags 3 times. The hotel was by no means full and therefore I would’ve expected them to agree to giving me a late check out at 2pm. This is what I’ve experienced at every other 5 star hotel.
And finally, upon arrival, we were never offered any welcome drinks. Over the next few days, almost every time we went past reception, new guests were being offered welcome drinks.
