Check in with Pebbles was very simple and efficient. The two-bed suite was perfect for an overnight for my friend and I. The shower pressure was lacking, but the bathroom having an exhaust fan was great (I feel like the latter is few and far between nowadays.)

Had a wonderful time here, the place was clean, the breakfast buffet was lovely. The only down side is the neighborhood which is sketchy, but aside from that i would 100% rebook.

The hotel was clean and you could smell the cleanliness walking in. The room was nice. The problem we came across was lack of security. There was a group of people hanging out outside our room until close to 4:30am. They were laughing, playing music loudly, and talking/shouting loudly. Around 3am a car left after revving their engine. We did not feel safe calling to have the people moved and feared retaliation. Around 4am the smell of pot was wafting through our door. Once 4:30am came around, the group of people dispersed, but music continued to play loudly from their room. When mentioned to the front desk at check out we were told security didn’t mention it and he would ask them. I did not feel safe enough during this stay and spent most of the night awake making sure there wasn’t an incident while our children were asleep. I cannot recommend staying at a hotel that does not have constant security patrolling to enforce quiet hours and one that has such a lack of concern when told about a situation.

The room was huge i was very happy and would recommend them. I know i will go back when visiting the area

I’m not a hotel snob by any means but I would not stay here again. Our room smelled like smoke. The shuttle van reeked of smoke and the place didn’t feel clean. The service was amazing. Super friendly lady at the front desk. Good location and free shuttle but not a great hotel.

Much better than last year, hope to see even better next year

The tub wouldn’t drain (room 135). There was writings on the walls, the room had an odor.

Noisy room with ventilation all the night and the door wasn’t air/noise tight.
Bed too soft not so comfy. Didn’t sleep very well.
Restroom is ok.
Breakfast not great, broken toaster, broken waffle machine… some little fixing could make the experience better.

This place is a disaster. Booked a room, walked in, slipped and almost fell immediately. It smelled like mold, had flies everywhere and felt like they had a humidifier on inside the room. Needless to say, I didn’t stay. Hotels.com said they had to issue a refund and for the past month I’ve been chasing them for it. Lily referred me to Monier who said I had to wait for Andy. Enough is enough. Charging me $194.74 for a room I didn’t stay in and almost injured myself in is insane. Constant “we’ll call you back” responses with no call back. This is ridiculous.

The city of Detroit was an awesome town to visit during my business trip. Unfortunately, the hotel we stayed at is in shambles. Trash overflowing in the trash bins, the exterior of the building looks like a cellblock in a prison. We stayed for three nights and kept getting locked out of the room. Had to get keys magnetized everyday. You have to cross your fingers and hope the water is hot in the morning. The constant weed smoking smell is continuous and annoying. The name of the hotel should definitely be changed. "Quality" is not advertised here very well at all!

We stayed here after a concert for one night. It was… a place to stay, I guess. The doors to the rooms are accessible outside. I did not realize this upon booking, or I would have kept looking because I do not like this setup. The only window to the room was a huge one next to the door so while we were trying to get ready for said concert we had many people looking in at us as they walked to their own rooms. The room had a lot of wear and tear that gave it a run-down feel. The cleanliness was meh. There were two sinks in the room and one of the sinks sprayed out onto the counter while turned on. The sheets and pillows were very soft and comfy. We tried to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work. Breakfast was very minimal choices - two types of cereal, one waffle maker, and some bagels. Two of us made waffles and then found that the syrup packets were out so we went to the front desk to ask for more and the guy working there disappeared with two other guys. We waited for 10mins before giving up and eating dry waffles. While eating breakfast in our room (the lobby is small) the front desk guy with the two guys came to the door and asked to come in to work on the tv connection. We let the technician in and he was trying to fix something that had been done poorly by management. Another guy came and asked to come in so I asked who he was and he then said he was the manager. The manager argued with the technician in front of us about the shoddy work. Wish we stayed elsewhere

It wasn’t awful. The room seemed okay other than the small bed (my fault for booking the wrong room). But my god the spiders that were outside the rooms will give me nightmares

The sheets and towels were lovely and clean. The rest of the room was not. The air con was noisy and was ineffective. The accessibitly to downtown was great but the immediate surrounding area was not the best.

In the toilet in my room the dirty water did not go away, apart from that everything was very good.

Choice should remove itself from any affilliation with this run down overpriced dump! Honestly it should be torn down! Stop advertising this as a hotel! It is an old dilapidated MOTEL! The carpet was soaked and mildewed from the leaking refrigerator THAT HAD A DIRTY TOWEL INSIDE IT TO CATCH THE WATER! This was THE worst "hotel" experience I've ever had. I would very much like a refund for my stay!

Location was convenient. Haven’t stayed in a room that tight in 40 years.

The pictures are definitely photoshopped to make the place look more presentable when it really isn't. This is a motel, i would rate it 2 stars because you will find stains on the carpet, and in my case a broken bed and cigarette smell in the room. It's in a ok area and the staff is friendly, but the place is a bit rundown for 200 dlls a night.

Television system is terrible. Horrible picture, several major channels not available. No audio on CNN and others

Hot water supply was poor.

Otherwise the hotel was decent I rate it a 2 star because ants was coming into my room and it was an ant crawling on my bed.

The TV did not work in our room. The overall hotel was not what I assumed it would be as it was in the photo's. The room was clean, but questionable....

The staff was friendly and tried to help us which I give them high marks for their concern with our stay.
Unfortunately there were homeless people laying around the property. And when we arrived, there were people sitting outside the room smoking weed. We had to squeeze in the luggage between the bed and the tv, fridge, microwave stand and to that also made it hard for us to walk. We had to turn sideways to walk pass the bed to the bathroom and closet. The TV didn't work and they set up another one which the sound on CNN channel wouldn't work. The staff sat on the steps going to the rooms and smoked cigarettes it was horrible smelling the smoke. The property is dirty all around.
The best part about the hotel was the continental breakfast area which was far better than the rest of the property.

It is run down. Had to rig the TV cable to even watch TV. But it served it purpose. Guest services was great both at check in and check out !!

The absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had. Place was disgusting, surroundings were loud and everything reeked of cigarettes. The water pressure was basically non-existent. Could not believe how little water was coming out of the faucet. The phone in the room didn't work. They didn't have enough clean towels in the facility to accommodate the room. 0.00000 stars. Awful.

No bugs Clean. Out dated but you get what you pay for. Breakfast ok

Location was pretty good but rooms and property are just not clean. Stains on the curtains and just unkept in general. Office staff was pleasant and check in was easy. It worked for us for a quick night, but not again.

Old motel that looks to have been recently renovated but on the cheaper side. Location was a little scary in evening. Didn’t feel 100% safe. Price gouging was insane. I paid almost $400 for 1 night to see a concert. Room wasn’t worth $100 let alone 4x the amount.

Wow! What a wonderful job the quality inn has done with the restoration of this old building! The building has been renovated and it looks great! The rooms look wonderful! You wouldn’t even feel like you’re in a 50+ year old building! The bathrooms have also a been completely renovated with tiled stand up showers, new vanity fixtures and toilets! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again! It’s gonna be my go to place for nights on the town! Can’t beat it how clean and affordable the rooms are! I give this franchisee a huge thumbs up on their business!

The room was clean but less than plain, with tv & electrical cords sticking out of the wall about 5’ up. The staff were friendly. It was comfortable enough and I slept well, but this is really an old motel, not a hotel. For example, I parked by the door to my room.

Came for a concert at Ford Field. Was less than impressed with the condition of the hotel. Maybe it is a new Quality addition and still in the works for coming up to the proper condition. The room was clean but smelled like years of stale smoke. Door felt cheap and flimsy, curtains on windows were stained. Carpet felt sticky. Beds had no comforter/quilt/duvet, only a sheet and what would typically be used a comforter covering.

Don’t believe pics. Property looks nothing like pictures. Very run down.

The hallway needs to be kept up with the cleaning and the breakfast was not great the egg were old and taste like rubber the bagels were not fresh and hard need to be more in a container not let dead air in it so it is broken so not fresh to grab so breakfast i give it a 2 and the terrible hallway like a 1 fir being bad. Please fix it so next time its better on my next visit.

Property is in a dumpy area. I did not feel safe.

Tough neighborhood good bed

The TV wasn’t working, the curtains were falling off the window. The TV cabinet was about 8 ” from the foot of the bed making for an extremely challenging path to the bathroom.
On a positive note the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom updated.
