Nice place.

Had a great time here. Food in the main buffet was good, but quality could have been better and food hotter. The themed restaurants were good, never any problems and drinks were plentiful.
We were staying in Privilege room and the benefits are worth it. Waiters by the pool always fletching drinks all day.
Loved that there was entertainment every night, otherwise could have been a little boring in the evenings. Due to a cancelled flight I had the opprtunity to stay in a more expensive neighbouring hotel which had no entertainment.
There were no problems at all with bugs or mosquitos anywhere.
I would definitely come back again.

Overall we had an amazing time! All the staff we met were so friendly fly and helpful. The food was great at the buffet and speciality restaurants. The only slight loss in score for cleanliness is the room had a wooden floor and it felt dirty the whole time. Not blaming our housekeeper i just think it’s hard to keep it clean when people are walking in from the pool etc. Loved the stay overall and would highly recommend it.

I visited the DR Punta Cana for the first time. What an awesome and amazing resort we was welcomed in by Miss Martinez great spirit then met by Gus he was amazing! Argenis. Sent itinerary every morning checked up on us and make sure our stay was perfect and what I needed for my 45th birthday.
😎Fernandez and the crew for entertainment was amazing knew how to give a party and it was just like a wow.
I don’t remember all the staff that was in the different restaurants they catered to you even the one at the front bar in the lobby.
Very secure and a safe feeling being at blue sand and ocean resort. My sister and I truly enjoyed myself and will be back!
Blessings always to everyone at this resort!

We spent 8 days at Ocean Blue and Sand. We felt it was nothing short of FANTASTIC!
First and foremost the property is well laid out, exceedingly clean, friendly staff and terrific food and entertainment.
We wanted to venture off of the resort to the downtown area, but from previous world destinations experiences, it did not appear as safe as other places. This absolutely was not the case on the property, we felt extremely safe and looked after. There are multiple security cameras on the property and the room is well secured.
The food is absolutely top notch for an all-inclusive. Several restaurants, all excellent, and a buffet you would be hard pressed not to find something, regardless of your nationality.
The waitstaff, grounds crews, entertainment hosts and resort staff never had us feeling we were not their priority.
The beach area is constantly patrolled and occupied by security. The beach is clean and continually looked after. There were plenty of chairs available and shade spots, if that is your thing.
The only downfall, if i had to pick one, would be the attempts to sell you an upgrade and a membership to the resort chain. This is common for most all-inclusive resorts and it is my opinion that they are all full of empty promises and take away from your relaxation time. I'd suggest you just say no.
We will be re-visiting Punta Cana and will greatly consider H10 resorts again due to our experience.

Nice resort with excellent pool and beach access. However, I have to dock one star due to the limitations with access to the à la carte restaurants. There are five of them, but two are closed on alternating days. Additionally, the latest you could get into is at 9:35 PM, and some restaurants require prior reservations (as early as 8 AM), while others have a waiting list.
The staff was always helpful and kind to us. Special thanks to Ismael Medina, our butler!

Wish the property have more options to withdraw money. There was only one at the front desk. Buffet wasn’t that good, but restaurants were very good. Service was above and beyond. I’ll start Aracelis from privileged service, she was amazing, we love her, she make us feel like home. Antonio at the pool bar was amazing, very hard working and extremely accommodating. The entertaining staff were very good at their job, especially Drama Queen, Baby Gucci, Chipper Hammer and Shakira. Drama Queen always spotted us and came to greet us. She made our vacation definitely more fun! Service at the lobby bar was excellent too and the guys at the privileged part of the pool were very efficient. We’ll definitely come back just for the service!

Everything was wonderful, from food to drinks to activities.it was a very wonderful experience.the only thing I would add is if they can get both Spanish and English staff.

When I went to eat at 1 of their dine in restaurants, the waiter who was serving me informed me everything was FREE. so when I went to go check out, they charged me $190. If there gonna charge, then it shouldn’t be All Inclusive‼️

The resort more than met our expectations. We don't do these trips very often, but our experience was that the resort was clean, the food was consistently good including the specialty spots, the pool was fun but a little warm in
August, and the beach was perfect, with space to throw a ball or just bob around in the churning but pleasant surf. Get up early if you want a spot! English is spoken but Spanish is an asset. Booked parasailing with the pirates on the beach and a tour with the resort. Always book through the resort! Rooms were warm but a relief to the heavy dead heat of summer. Winter I was told is more bearable but also busier. Recommended, but veterans of all-inclusive may be looking for something more.

The resort is labeled as family friendly. However, it was very inappropriate for kids. The type of music played made you feel like you were in a cheap low class club. The resort is designed as a long strip of buildings, and because we were in a privilege club, we were in one of the last buildings close to the beach, away from the main lobby and the buffet area. So we were promised a cart every 15 minutes to our area, in case if we needed to go to the different parts of the resort. Honestly, there were times when we waited over a half hour by the pool to get a ride to the room. Carts with empty seats would drive by, but the drivers would not stop. We were there for a vacation. We love walking and work out daily, but walking for a half hour in a heat stroke of 90 degrees to eat lunch or to go get a drink is not acceptable.
Honestly, the resort is great, the amenities are nice and it’s beautiful. The food was decent. It is unfortunate that the laziness of the staff, and the inconsideration of the assistants at the reception is unacceptable. Overall,I would give it a 3/5 because of poor customer service.

I had the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I was there from Aug 23rd to Aug 28th 2024 with my 16 year old daughter and we had such an amazing time to the point that neither one of us wanted to leave! The areas are beautiful, safe, clean, & lots of activities for every age range! I had the opportunity to meet some of their beautiful staff (Franneli, Miguel, Brylin, Keidy, Arielis, Guillermo, Jairo) these are the AMAZING hard working young men that made us feel happy while you ate, their energy and charisma is contagious so say hello to them:) Alba the beautiful and happy host from the dining area, Shaggy the tall & happy dancer he can teach you a move or two DONT be shy & dance with him! Stop by the bar & say hello Alexander (Sexy Black) he is such a happy & fun soul! When you go to the beach let Victor the photographer take some beautiful photos of yourself and loved ones, he is OUTSTANDING! When you get to your room check the card & see who’s the person that is going to be cleaning your room & be considered leave a little tip say hello, maybe you get lucky and meet the beautiful & kind Xiomara 💕 I know their names because I took the time to get to know them a little & I know that all of these people are hard workers! Greet the guys who make sure that the gardens are kept gorgeous and clean say hello or smile make their day. If you get a chance, stop by the table for excursions & book a trip with Jhon, express what you want & he’ll guide to an unforgettable ADVENTURE! Ezequiel 🙏

The quality of the food was terrible our entire stay. Most of the staff were rude especially when we went to 2 different restaurants and complained that our food was cold or uncooked. We also got sick our last day. Thank god that we are home. Definitely never going back and don’t recommend.

Upon arrival we moved rooms a couple of times given how dirty they were ( bugs in the bed/pillows, hair in shower and bath, dirty footprints in the shower, thermostats didn’t work). Staff was uncooperative and gaslit us every time we had a concern. Food was ok but my husband got food poisoning after eating at their Mexican restaurant and was out for about 2 days. Then to top it all off, we actually started getting bit at night and would wake up with bug bites all over our bodies. There were tiny black bugs in the mattress once we stripped everything and looked. The beach was beautiful though and some staff was very nice to us but for us to have paid for “privilege” services, I am beyond disappointed. This was not worth the thousands of dollars we paid.

Everything was pretty good, except we got bit up pretty bad by something. The resort was kind of old, but decent. I liked that it wasn’t too big and we didn’t have to walk too far. The beach was awesome! Water was pretty clear. They do a good job of maintaining the property.

I liked the pool and beach. The staff ruined it by trying to sell me a 25yr plan and pushed the limit when I repeatedly said after 2hrs with them it’s time for us to go to the beach
They also had issue with light it the outdoor shower in the room not working and never fixed it. They said they would get rose petals and sign on the door for anniversary and did the petals on the last night, never got the sign on the door.
I had the privilege package and only one bar had decent liquor on the entire resort
Most of the food was not good except the steakhouse. Overall a lot of money to be let down for 20yr anniversary

Our stay was fun but there were a few things that could have been better. The coffee maker in my room was not working and I called the front desk/ room service about the concern 3 times - I was still not provided with the coffee maker. Also, the bathroom door did not shut fully, we had to hold it against the frame while we used the toilet, which was uncomfortable. Route 66 restaurant provided us with skimpy meals, we had to order room service right after. Thank goodness for the all inclusive aspect. The buffet barely had selections every time, it is like they did one tray of a selection and that was it. The plus for this hotel is that they are good at entertaining their guests with shows and pool parties, and they do not skimp on alcoholic beverages. 3/5 stars, I’ve been to better resorts.

It's a very beautiful resort. They can work on the ventalation, and insulation of the pool side rooms. It has a bad odor, and hold moisture regardless if the a.c is running or not. We met a lot of generous staff, and some were very rude. They acted as if they didn't care for black Americans. Also it would be a plus if more of the staff understood English, being that it's a Resort setting. Overall we had an expectional stay we really enjoyed the accommodations of all inclusive

Hotel is like a condominium complex. Is not a Resort. I travel twice a year and this place is ok. Service is nit the best rooms need to be cleaned better. I will not return to this location again.

We went a group of 5 celebrating 40th birthday of 3 of them. Room A/C didn’t work all 3 nights. Third bed was not made until second night we had to share beds. Had to call more than 3 times to get towels for all of us. Restaurants limited and they not open every day. No Activity in the pool area only at night. No welcome basked was ever provided and they kept asking us if we like it.

I booked the room around at 2 pm. When I arrived at the hotel around 5:30 pm, the room was not ready. The reception tried to sell an upgrade room which they can give immediately, but I refused. After 30 min of wait they gave me the room and it was not the room I booked. I complained about the room, they moved me the room they tried to sell.
They assigned Premier Buttler who responded over an hour later. The room phone was not working and the premier service never worked even at the check out. This hotel does not respect the customer and below level 1 for overall.

I paid for a pool view room but I was placed at the very beginning of it so the view was partial. I asked for a privilege upgrade because it was my birthday but Juan Carlos from the front desk denied it. I was willing to pay for privilege upgrade but they told me it cost an extra $75 daily, even though the Ocean Blue web site says $30 daily. House keeping was mediocre at best, I tipped my house keeper daily with a total of $55 for a weekly service and still failed to provide me with everything I needed. There was a daily breakdown & missing room items. My concierge arranged a birthday cake with a song and told me it was going to be free of charge. Well, at check out I still had to pay $60 for it, after I tipped him $30 for the help. It was mediocre service but the facilities and location were excellent. The beach is a dream. The poolside bbq only lasted for 1 hour when the program stated two or three hours. The night club should stay opened until 3:00 am instead of closing at 1:00 am. All facilities were clean and maintained. The beach is beautiful and food quality fantastic.
