Nice, quiet apt with lovely surroundings, varied rest offer; you must drive to the beach.

The apt was spacious and well laid out, comfortable, a very nice pool just walking out the door of our terrace and nevertheless quiet, full kitchen (which we didn't use but that is great if you're there for a longer stay), great A/C

The living room area is huge, perhaps the apt could fit a 2nd bedroom for a couple with children?

Property in bad condition. Maintenance is needed.

The location is well located

The location is ok but the apartment was dirty. The air conditioner isn’t working. Also the bathroom had a clogged sink. The shower was also not working properly. The furniture was not in good condition. In short, we feel that the property is not in the condition required or promised in the photos.

Apartment with great potencial but not duly maintained. The services weren’t as expected (Wi-Fi y TV)

The apartment is spacious, well equipped and well located. It has a nice pool and a great view.

The apartment is deteriorated from use and has not been properly maintained. The wifi was intermittent, we spent more time without wifi than with. The tv does not work and the air conditioners cool but not as much as we would like, not taking into account how noisy the air conditioners in the living room and dining room are.

After the room was cleaned we enjoyed our stay. Loved the space and private balcony.

The room was not clean nor ready to be rented when we entered. We went back to the front desk and reported it to the manager and he sent house keeping to clean the room. On several occasions the keys stopped working and had to be reset.

Contact with the owner was great, available all day by whatsapp. He was kind and really helpful every single time . Location was great, nice beaches around. We enjoyed our stay in Fishing Lodge

Mamy problems with the mobile keys, we couldn't get in into the room so it was bit annoying but owner was trying to solve the problem..even offer a new room so that was nice

I would not suggest you use the individual condo unit again. It spoiled the trip.

The food was great. $ was OK. Liked the staff and the people staying there. The place had a nice view and the condo would have been nice except for what is below.

The problem was there were biting bugs on the rugs and on the sofa. It had to have been bed bugs and spiders and who knows what else. I had to spend 4 hours trying to get the keys to the condo. Finally, security unlocked the door and when we went out I did not lock the door but left the bolt to allow us to get in and out for our meals. The next day a housekeeper brought me a plastic key to use

Beautiful location, comfortable, clean and exclusive!

excellent location 10 mins from the airport, gated community, with dock access, and $3 taxis to the beach and other cool spots.

Some aspects of location

No staff in the office. Condo I stayed at had no coffee maker, microwave, t-towels, wifi, walk in closet lights, notes about condo or location, rain shower head didn't work. Was a joke for $ 200 usd a nite.

Beautiful location and excellent rooms in a romantic secluded paradise.

The Fishing Lodge Cap Cana is absolutely beautiful. The property is maintained to perfection and the views of the marina are truly breathtaking. Rooms with a balcony offer wonderful views. There are multiple pools and many amazing restaurants nearby and the beach is only a very brief taxi ride away. I highly recommend this property for a romantic getaway and for those that don't necessarily need an all inclusive resort or to be exactly on the beach. Ricardo is also very helpful and responds quickly to requests. Amazing time staying here.

This property has many pools for swimming and that is great. But to go to the beach, it is necessary to take a taxi to and from there. To get to Janillo Beach it only costs two dollars each way. So that it no problem. To get to the grocery store, it will cost more but it is worth it if you want to cook in your room.

Size and own pool is nice, but everything else should be nice as well

Reservation and check-in process - excellent, Attention by staff (by Email/WhatsApp) excellent. Size and view of/from apartment excellent, parking opportunities good, amenities, restaurants and staff in the areas very nice and pleasant. delivery service form supermarket nearby excellent. Cost of energy included, even though we turn the AC's off during the day, a good saving.

No drinking water available on arrival, no kitchen towels, very poor kitchen utensils, no table cloth or place matts, dining table almost falling apart, furniture smudged, TV hardly visible (too small for the size of the area) and in bad shape, only black & white image at times and really bad signal (due to oxidation of connection ports) no map of the compound, no emergency phone list, no indications of available activities and general instructions/rules of the compound. bed linens gave the impression of being badly washed and no possibility to wash/dry our clothes. had better beach front and much cheaper (no private pool though, te be fair) All this is really easy to fix, but as is, way too expensive.

The bed was epic uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on the floor! Also, there was no duvet, just the cover. The tv wasn’t smart and didn’t have local signal either. Kitchen wasn’t fully equipped.

The property is well constructed and very beautiful.

The front gate can be a pain in the butt at times. Everyone must be registered in your vehicle to get through the gate. If not they will send you to the building just before the gate to register your guests. This building is also strict with entry. I had on a beach tank top shirt and they wouldn’t let me enter. I had to wait around for someone to come out and register my friends/guests. If they don’t have ID, they aren’t getting in - words of advice to travelers. Also, depending on where you are staying (Fishing Lodge) is strict on giving out extra towels and wash clothes. Just bring your own extra. Also, the rooms had leftover hairs on the bathroom floors from the last guests. Hairs were getting caught all in my toes after my shower. I had to clean it all myself. They also need to clean behind and around the furniture. It’s so dusty. This leaves me to question if all the sheets and coverings are thoroughly being cleaned.

The way you have access to the room. He had digital keys that did not work. So, we had to wait until the next morning before we could leave the room. Someone let us in that night with a master key. Than the tv didn't work and someone had to come fix the tv.

Excelent place. A little far from shoppings or markets, but a quiet place!

Security, quiet, nice pools.

Everything at there costs 4X the price on any market or everywhere else… Go to market and make a nice food and beverage stock.
