The resort is beautiful, right on Grace Bay beach, and is centrally located to shopping and restaurants.

We stayed in villa 503. The Villa is decorated beautiful. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was equipped with toiletries, hair dryer and scale. They also provided us with detergent for 4 loads. The kitchen was well equipped. They had two beach chairs, an ice chest and a rolling cart for shopping. Comes with a good size balcony, furnished with a cute small round table (perfect to enjoy your morning coffee) and two lounge beds. Location, location, location! Everything is within walking distance. We rented a car but loved walking the downtown in the evenings.

We were unable to check into the room as we had to move from one room to another and had to wait for hours for security to find out correct code to enter.
This was at 9 pm at night and kids were tired and needed to go to bed.
Hotel staff said they will make it up to us but they never did. No one ever called and offered anything or even apologized

Just got back from our 5 night stay at the Villa Renaissance. We had villa 102, which was a 2 bdrm oceanfront unit. Here are the pros and cons of our stay - family of 3
Pros: spacious unit, full kitchen, excellent location on Grace Bay (breathtaking beach right in front), very convenient to a lot of restaurants, unit is very well kept, even though you can see it’s dated.
Cons: we experienced tons of mosquitoes in the stairwell, which came into the unit when the door opened (biting us all night). The front door had issues and was stuck all the time. My husband had to open it as I couldn’t due to how hard it had to be pulled. Main bedroom had a king bed and secondary bedroom had 2 twins. There was something up with the twin beds. They were LOUD anytime you turned. Maybe time for a new bed frame? The living room has a huge slider, which we hoped to keep open, but couldn’t because of the mosquitoes. Kitchen had a musty smell.. maybe from the dishwasher, seems pretty old.
Overall it was a decent property, but I wouldn’t stay there again, personal preference. Location was phenomenal though.

Front desk staff friendly and very helpful with dinner options as well as things to do in the area.

The reason we took off a star is because at night there is a loud noise from a nearby club that could last to 3am. But other than being pricey the place is incredible. The beach has enough seats for everyone. The water is perfect. There is fish in the water in the evening if there aren't many ppl in the water. I suggest you ask the front desk for booking extensions on ur first day as activities get booked up quick. Lovely place I recommend

Villa Renaissance was a fabulous choice for our family. We booked room 602, a two bedroom unit. It was decorated very nicely, had a fully functioning kitchen, and washer dryer. We loved that the unit was close to the pool, lobby and resort exit to town, all very convenient. Though I’m sure some would prefer an ocean view this was perfect for our family with two young children. The hotel is located on beautiful Grace Bay. The pool is very nice and located in the center of the resort right off the lobby. While there are not tons of amenities and staff, they have a great bar that was open 11am-6pm and provides service to the pool and beach, though mostly the pool area. The bar also has a decent lunch menu and we ate lunch here several times during our stay. You could have an early dinner or late breakfast here but the menu is more oriented to lunch. Anyway, we preferred to eat breakfast in our unit and explore the many nice restaurants on the island for dinner. The beach had an adequate number of chairs though we didn’t use them much. There is a fitness center and tennis /pickle ball courts but we didn’t use those. There were a limited number of staff but they were friendly and attentive. Adacelli provided fantastic service at the bar. Chelsea and Nobi at the front desk, and Taylor provided us snorkel gear one day. Some families may prefer more food and amenity options but for us this was perfect. We were out doing tours most afternoons, and spent mornings at the pool and beach

Access and beauty

Amazing views. Beautifully furnished and decorated Villa. Exceptionally nice resort and housekeeping staff. Great location in Provo. Very Convenient. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops.Having said that, there were a couple of very minor annoyances given the very expensive price of the Villa. There were some minor issues with upkeep that I was unable to get the staff to fix while we were there. Specifically, neither safe worked in the Villa and the cable TV in the bathroom didn't work. Other than that, it was a fantastic vacation location. One thing that would improve the Villa experience is if they provided the TVs with access to streaming service apps like Netflix, Prime Video, etc.

Staff friendly and helpful but things needed fixed when we were there. The safe in room wasn’t working and sliding glass door very tight and hard to open until greased. Bushes along side pool needed sprayed. We all got bit many times.

Villa Renaissance is centrally located the beach. The high-end, well stocked grocery store is within easy walking distance, as are a variety of very good restaurants and a few shops. Our suite was well stocked and it was nice to have a full kitchen. Everything was comfortable, clean, quiet and the grounds are well maintained.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Renaissance. The price of the hotel is about average for the area but definitely lower than the "poshier" places you may stay (such as the new Ritz or Seven Stars Resort & Spa). The hotel had everything we could ask for: large pool, bar/food service (average price for the area), easy private access to the most amazing beach in the world, and complimentary beach loungers and umbrellas.
The staff and service were excellent. Winston and Patrick from the bar were very friendly and hospitable, pouring some delicious (and strong) drinks...love these guys! Sheldon and Willfred were amazing in having the beach loungers and umbrellas all setup for those hot, sunny, beautiful Turks beach days.
The hotel is situated right in the heart of Grace Bay and is walking distance to everything you would need. We did not rent a car and found everything super convenient. The closest grocery is a about .75 miles from the resort, and our room came with a small rolling cart to carry enough groceries for my wife and me. If you plan on a larger group, I would suggest having a cart or taxi available for larger grocery trips.
We typically made sandwiches/snacks for lunch and went out for dinners. I highly recommend making reservations for dinner as the local restaurants do get very crowded. Again, we walked pretty much everywhere, but the hotel does have some free bikes available if you need them.
I could go on, but all in all the stay was EXCELLENT!

My family of 4 stayed at this property for 4 nights. We were welcomed right away and warmly by the staff. When we had questions about where to eat, how to book activities, the staff was super helpful and sweet. The place is just beautiful! Nice pool, plenty of chairs, and towels and toys for the pool. We stayed in 402 which offered a fantastic ocean view! Now for the good part - the beach is picture perfect! Water is all shades of blue and green, soft sand, gentle waves, plenty of chairs and umbrellas for lounging. And nice people. My only complaint is that there was no one to take drink orders on the beach, but we didn’t really care. The poolside bar was close so no biggie. The property is located near a grocery store and is walking distance from plenty of breakfast and dinner spots (shout out to Danny Bouys and Shay Cafe) and ice cream shops. If you have a car, you’ll also be close to Hemingway’s, one of our favorite places to eat, and other restaurants, bars and hotels. You can also prepare your own food, since each unit comes with a nicely stocked kitchen. We really loved this place!
