Lovely staff when we arrived and at breakfast. Easy check in and out and able to store luggage when leaving. Our room was nice but basic. The only downside was the shower was not that good. Water pressure non-existant, and didn't work on one day Hotel is in a great location, and although next to clubs and pubs, was very quiet at night. Would reccomend

We liked - the 4-bed room being not allocated towards the street. - house keeping staff making up the room on a daily basis eventhough it was neither required nor requested to do so We disliked - that the room view was towards the inner yard - that AirConditioning was broken and did just heat (even though it was set to cold/max ventilation and 10°C) - we disliked even more that forementioned AC issue wasn't fixed before we left - that our messages with questions/requests, sent in advance to our arrival were neither taken into account nor responsed - that the restaurant's menu, displayed in front of the breakfast room was just shown but no restaurant in operation. That the menus' line items and prices were not available and/or matching the line items & prices from the menu at the nearby located restaurant.

Felt a bit more like a spring break hostel than a hotel. The smoke alarms went off several times one night as other hotel guests were smoking in their room. There was lots of noise at all hours and guest banging on doors. We were woken one morning before 9am by house keeping insisting they clean and change our towels.

We reserved a Deluxe Double Room, but instead, we were given a Standard Double Room on the 3rd floor, which was full of young people partying loudly day and night. When we requested a Deluxe Room on one of the upper floors, we were informed that the hotel was fully booked. It is not pleasant or professional to be downgraded from the room we reserved and paied to a lower category

Great value hotel. Nice location, close to lot of nightlife but in a spot where it it is quiet. Good breakfast, nice pool and gym. Only downsides were the AC didn't work, and when i told the front desk they just told me to "keep waiting and it would eventually work" Nope waited overnight and it did not fix itself. And requested a wake up call that never happened.

The breakfast was good, It was convenient and buses were nearby, but the area is so noisy, expect drunk people screaming all night long in the streets every day of the week. You will not sleep here as there is zero sound proofing. It was also freezing cold and the heating didn’t work in the room. The towels were too small, the toilet backed up, the reception staff were unfriendly and in general the place is slightly falling apart. It is majorly overpriced

This review is very honest as I normally book 4 star hotels but decided to take a cheaper option this time due to last minute booking. The hotel itself is very nice. The pool area was nice and the staff at reception I must say were amazing. Certain rooms in the hotel are very very bad but at midnight on the first night the welcoming reception staff managed to move me to the most beautiful modern room instead. Noise level from doors closing to corridor noise to street noise is all loud so if you want peace this is not the hotel for you. The amenities are all so close to the hotel so this is in the perfect location to everything. The breakfast in the hotel was ok but you don’t help yourself they serve you like a school canteen which put me off , they also don’t do any De Caff Coffee or tea which was bad so had to go buy some. Honestly not a bad hotel just needs some slight changes but like I said for a 3 star hotel it was good.

In general I liked my room, and the staff were absolutely lovely. I did have a bit of a bad experience in that late at night there was some kind of altercation involving the man in the room next to mine - I could hear lots of yelling and threats and what sounded like a fight, which was rather scary. When I mentioned it to the people at the desk the next day they immediately found me a new room, which I really appreciated.

Over all it was okay. But the housekeeping staff very rude. Check out was at 11am I was still in room around 9:30/10am and they keep trying to enter even tho my door locked and sign on door asking not to disturb. Breakfast selection Limited. Bed comfy.

For the price this hotel was perfect for a one night stay before a flight the next day. The beds are firm and linen / rooms very clean. There is yoghurt / fruits and the standard basic hot items available at breakfast although you might want to take a short 10 min walk into Spinola Bay and enjoy the many restaurant options. The reception was very friendly. Would do a short stay again.

Because it's located in a known pub area, my first night which was a Sunday, there were a lot of drunk guests which made huge amount of noise, banging doors, shouting etc from midnight to 5am. It was horrible, some guests shouted out for them to be quiet but didn't seem to work. It's like none of the staff care either. Very very thin walls. Breakfast has wide ranges of option but to be honest, it didn't taste very good. Not really a fan if you're after a quiet night to recharge for next day exploration like I am.

The view was spectacular and there is a beach two minutes away from the hotel. I didn’t like the fact that you couldn’t take a drink from down stairs up to my room not even a glass of water. The fridge in the room is useless as it turns off with the light when to go out(there no point in having it there!) so drinks you buy and store in there are not cold when you get back in the evenings

The Restaurant food was very well catered for everyone and a lot of choice staff very friendly and helpful. I was very disappointed that no tea making facilities in the room where available the bathroom needed an uplift and replacing. Asked for a different hairdryer as the one in the room not a lot of power.The Patio door on the balcony was very difficult to open this was reported but nothing was resolved. A lot of building work going on around the hotel definitely do not recommend if you’re thinking of a peaceful stay. And one of the Receptionist did not explain everything when checking in as we arrived about 4pm if we would like to eat dinner at the hotel as only booked bed and breakfast and anything else we should know.

The only good thing about it was location, as it is close to both St George’s bay and Spinola Bay, as well as to the main bus stop. Unfortunately there is more negative points about it, such like fire alarm going every 20 minutes during the night almost every day, construction sites every where around the hotel, no drinking water to be able to fill your bottle, both pools very small and only open from 09:00, so can’t have a swim before breakfast. Breakfast was ok, but almost identical each day, with extremely poor fresh fruit option.

Good clean property close to the centre of St Julians and all local facilities. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are good sized, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is superb with a massive choice of English, Continental and Maltese options.The only thing that really lowered my opinion of the hotel was that although I booked early, the 2 rooms I ordered were 5 floors apart on the 1st and 6th floors! If they had been single rooms I could have accepted this inconvenience, but as both were doubles it seems a little short sighted with planning. The 1st floor bedroom was also finished to a much higher quality than the 6th floor. I understand that renovation works are on going so this was not a big problem.Overall I rate this a good hotel and despite the niggle over room allocation I would happily book here again.

very Noisy , during my stay smoke alarm went off more than 5 or 6 times during the night ! reception stuff response was Its good for us at least we know our systems are working , there was building works next door at 6AM you could hear builders drilling and so on , and lets not complain about my room being in front of the lift and hearing every single person going in and out , good break fast , VERY POLITE stuff ,
