Club Regina employees were top notch! Super helpful and so kind. The resort needs work to gain a better rating from us.
First you walk in for check in and you are charged an $18/day for internet and activity. So $180 over our $250/day rate with fees and taxes for a King bedroom and very uncomfortable sofa couch to sleep on. So four of us had a room overlooking the marina, not ocean view. Not a bad view but we asked for ocean view.
Internet is free in Mexico and the activities for us was a joke. The mini golf wasn’t set up, only a pool set up kit. Corn hole was the same. Ping pong was 3 paddles that needed help and a lopsided ball. Only set up occasionally. I guess that’s what the extra charge was for. The refrigerator had to be turned all the way up to cool off the beer and our lettuce only lasted a couple days because it only kept things cool. Nice usable kitchen. We took a taxi to Walmart for water and food for the stay. We shopped at Oxxo (7/11) for small purchases. The resort market was super pricey! Prices weren’t marked on items.
A fish taco at the pool restaurant was a piece of breaded fish with a tortilla wrapped around it. Cole slaw could be used to put around it. The food was overpriced and poor quality except for the marlin burrito.
We loved the food and prices across the street at a Mexican restaurant named Callejun. Excellent service, food and prices.
Way cheaper and food was so good we ate 5 meals there.
People in PV are so kind and friendly resort too.

We spent a week at Raintree visiting friends who are members and go every year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room, activities, and food were great. It was the friendly, caring staff that made the stay so wonderful. Not a single bad experience! We highly recommend Club Regina to everyone looking for an all in one stay.

Room was smelling an wet floor from condensation, was asking on front desk to change room, was NOT help full,
we ask to stay a couple more nights, was like you need to call where you made the reservation, he could say it more polite, he was on the phone and let us wait during his conversation and the when he talked to us he took an outer call, so we move to the Marriott .

The staff is super nice, hotel and rooms very clean but its just very old. Our restroom toilet was constantly leaking so we had to place a towel on the floor everyday. The furniture is super old even though it is clean. I would not only recommend but stay again if some renovations are made.

Paying tax at the front desk upon arrival.
Staff is pushy about buying the time share.
Not very accommodating because our flight was late and check out was 10 am. They were asking for $25 US for each hour. If Expedia charged us so much tax why we have to pay extra while on arrival. I feel ripped off. Expedia should refund my tax money.i have no choice when I arrive at the front desk I have to pay in order to get a room for my family and myself.

The hotel was very clean, amenities were good. The only bad thing about my stay was the bathroom was outdated and moldy, needs to be renovated ASAP. I asked to switch room but they couldn't accommodate my request. I requested a minibar and they helped me with that request. The Tenampa pool bar and restaurant was great!! Rene and Cesaria were really kind and prepared delicious food for us. Thank you both, I really appreciate that.

The property is generally satisfactory, but would benefit from more dining options.
In general, we do not find fault, it is what it is, and it represents value for money.
The gym in particular, for me - an older male - was excellent and well equipped.

The manager, Cesar and the staff are first class but Raintree needs to invest in the property. The rooms are run down and desperately in need of renos, especially the bathrooms. The location is wonderful, the beach and the pools are excellent.

A little bit of a hiccup at checkin, overall a wonderful experience. Pools and grounds are well maintained, everyone is friendly and attentive. Resort definitely reminds you you are on a tropical vacation.

Good overall facility located near other hotels/resorts like Westin, Mariott, and Vidanta. We liked the 2 nicely-sized rooms with two separate doors to enter (provided flexibility for family members using different rooms), a small kitchen with basic utensils, and a gym with good equipment. The property is a bit outdated but maintained reasonably well. Some activities are difficult to use (like kayaking, as limited slots are already booked in advance). The small market within the resort is way too expensive.

This we a great location for tourism. If you want a more authentic experience I would not stay here. We felt safe the entire stay.

Club Regina used to be part of the Westin Resort that is located right next door. This made the property a lot bigger with more amenities. Club Regina is now its own entity. This makes the property smaller. I wish I’d known this because that would have influenced in my decision. Overall the club was nice and the rooms were big and comfortable.

My partner and I stayed for a week, the hotel resort was amazing with eye catching views of the beach and the ocean. The room was clean and cool with great air conditioning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some restaurants in the resort, but I recommend walking or taking a taxi to some street food places outside the resort that is much cheaper. Overall, great place and price is pretty good for anyone staying in Puerto Vallarta. Highly recommend here!

This is my second time at Club Regina and I was not disappointed. I’ve stayed at another very expensive resort in the area and had a terrible experience. I will only stay at Club Regina every time I go. Evenings in the pool are magical complete with iguanas. The only complaint I really have is the comfort of the mattresses. They are rock hard. It’s definitely time to upgrade the mattresses. Every staff member was so nice and nobody pressured us to listen to time share nonsense. We love the location near the marina and hope sage the property feels.

The front staff was awful upon check in.
Other staff were not friendly either.

We liked the pool and beach chairs. Room was dirty, jacuzzi did not hold water, mosquitoes and spiders in room. Hot water took forever to warm shower and sink. Staff made lots of noise and laughing early morning.

The staff was rude after I denied their presentation to become a partner of their club. Other than that, the place was really clean and a lot of nice events hosted in the hotel.
