A Hidden Gem in Skopelos – Perfect for Relaxation and Island Charm
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Skopelos Village Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience!
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable – just a short walk from the picturesque Skopelos Town, but far enough away to offer complete tranquility.
The room was spacious, beautifully decorated in a charming island style, and impeccably clean. Our balcony provided stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the nearby harbor, which made every morning and evening special.
The pool area was perfect for unwinding after exploring the island, offering a relaxing atmosphere.
The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether it was recommendations for local dining or arranging excursions, their attention to detail made our stay seamless.
The on-site restaurant served delicious Greek cuisine with a modern twist, and there were gluten-free options, which was a huge plus for me.
Overall, Skopelos Village Hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and authentic Greek island charm.
I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat on Skopelos.

A wonderful hotel, small and peaceful away from the town centre, though even that has a relaxed ambience. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and the rooms very clean, and cleaned daily. Lots of poolside loungers and two pools to relax by. Loved the hotel, it’s wonderful views and the very attentive and helpful staff. We walked here from the ferry, it’s only a 10-15 minute walk. Would love to return here x

Excellent hotel - nothing less

This is a 5 star hotel that feels and looks like a 4, has the amenities of a 3, and the rooms look like a 2.
Staff: EXCELLENT insofar as the morning lady who is there — she was friendly and effective. Everyone else seemed either bothered or ineffective.
Rooms: Old, there’s quite a lot of damp, weak AC.
Amenities: Pool was lovely. Other than that, no. I mean, don’t provide an iron but charge €6 per item?.
Breakfast: lacks variety, for sure.
General comments: Lobby is very pretty. Grounds are stunning. Pool is very clean. But it’s not a luxurious hotel— rooms are dated and feel unkept.
Would I come back? No, not at all.

Nice hotel outside of the centre of town and with a fantastic view of the town. Amenities are ok for a little bed and breakfast hotel. The location is perfect being only a 10 minute walk from town and the ferries along the harbour

Fantastic hotel! The staff went out of their way to help us, making phone calls for us and even printing test resutls out for us. They were all so friendly. All the restaurants that Thomas recommended were suberb. We could not fault this hotel! Such a lovely vibe. Will be back!

All was great during our stay. Excellent and friendly staff. Walking distance from skopelos town. Quiet location. Breakfast was a bit poor for a 5star.

Small and intimate hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. 10 minute walk from town centre strikes a good compromise between peace and quiet when needed without feeling isolated.

I visited Skopelos alone for the first time to relax and unwind for a few days. I wasn't sure where to stay and fortunately, I made a good selection. The area around the port is ideal, and this hotel is by far the best in the area. 'Best' because it's the nicest, most high end, and has truly outstanding staff. Valerie and Thomas are the types of staff hotels dream to hire. They made my stay enjoyable by helping with any small request, constantly providing ideas, thoughts, and big smiles. They would do nearly anything to ensure guests are happy. The negative of the hotel is the rooms are average and could use fresh paint and new furniture. The beds, pillows, sheets, and towels should be upgraded. They serve a nice breakfast and again, every staff member goes out of there way to be helpful and ensure guests have only great days.

The hotel is beautiful with spacious rooms and lovely grounds. All of the staff are really helpful and friendly, with up to 5 on reception at any time. They are really helpful at answering any kind of query. The rooms were lovely and spacious with really comfortable beds. The restaurant overlooks the bay and harbour and the view is beautiful. The food was delicious, whether breakfast in the dining room, snacks by the pool or dinner. I will be returning. The swimming pools were kept beautifully clean as was the whole hotel.

Had a pleasant stay at Skopelos Village. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is quite good for a large buffet, and the grounds are nice. The Wi-Fi was poor at best, and not working in our house most of the time.
Quiet location, a bit of a walk into town in the heat of the day. The staff was very helpful ordering taxis when we weren't feeling for the walk.

A rooster in the neighbours yard was the first welcome in the morning.
There was no view at the sea, but a pleasant touch with the town buildings.
The staff was excellent; kind and caring.

We were very pleased with our suite. Nice décor, very clean, and great location beside the pool.

Whilst the location is good and the breakfast area delightful with fab views the actual room was dark and in particular the bathroom not up to the star rating standard. The bathrooms need refurbishing.
Unfortunately over priced and overated accommodation.

Staff were very helpful & extremely efficient & friendly-without being intrusive.gorgeous reception area, pool & restaurant. studio was very nice although perhaps more basic than what we expected..bathroom pipes were rusty& in need of modernisation.air conditioning was poor also.all in all though i would recommend this hotel to friends and we had a lovely stay there.

My husband and I booked a week in a junior Suite. We just wanted a nice hotel in nice location where we could relax. We took the Flying Cat from Konstantinos which took 3 hours. We arrived at 10:30pm and knew that we could walk to the hotel. Be aware that the hotel reception isn't 24 hours - it closes at 11pm. It would have been useful to know this when booking - if we'd decided to stop for a much needed beer, we might have been sleeping by the pool on the first night !! If you are going to be late arriving, just email the hotel before and they will wait for you or leave a key at the restaurant. The junior suite was on 2 levels with a large bedroom with furnished balcony upstairs. plus bathroom. Downstairs there was a large lounge area with another furnished terrace and a well equipped kitchen. It was like a little house and we had fantastic views (Room 2) over the sea and island from both levels. It was also very quiet at night so we slept really well. There are 2 pools and plenty of sunbeds and nice facilities around the pool and the staff just leave you alone to enjoy the peace. We were B&B so had breakfast outside each morning on the restaurant terrace. The food cold be a bit more exciting for a hotel of this standard but it was adequate. Too many people taking food away for later consumption spoiled the 'up market' feel a bit for me ! Overall a very nice hotel in an excellent location if you are happy to stroll along the sea front into the town.

Lovely lovely place. The hotel is situated just across the harbor from town, a short walk and has a wonderful view of the village, especially from the restaurant. Two pools, one set up for children. The room was large and fairly comfortable, the furniture is all pretty hard, especially for sleeping, but you could definitely spend a nice long vacation there. Our room (#22) had two private seating areas outside and I love that the hotel has provided racks for drying your swimsuits. The staff was friendly, pleasant and very helpful, the islanders were welcoming and the beaches were great. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
