Overall the staff were very helpful and pleasant and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was good, lots to choose from.
Only criticism was the sofa bed, it was extremely uncomfortable.
2.5
Incredibly friendly Staff! We were made very welcone from the moment we arrived. Couldnt fault it.
2.5
Easy check in, good breakfast and helpful staff when our remote didn't work. I really interesting town with good shops and dining options. A Wetherspoons with a toiet on the ground floor too just a few minutes up the hill.
1.0
Limited food and bar menu
Stairs not identifiable at reception
Car park had dog faeces on it near car parking spaces
1.5
Hotel was a bit shabby, permanent stains on carpet and sofa bed.
Otherwise we were comfortable, would have appreciated better instructions for the Heating/air con and didn’t know the hairdryer switch was under a cupboard.
The food in the evening was not up to scratch, cheap fish and soggy chips.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Needed something to break up a long journey from the SW to the NE..... we booked online at about 715pm and checked in an hour later. Convenient for the journey being 10 mins from the motorway yet close to bars and eateries. We ate at a v good and well rated Indian restaurant 3 mins walk away called Shahi Palace. Packed on a Saturday night with a few free tables. Result. Hotel room exactly what we needed and clean/ functional and lovely staff. Decent included breakfast and free parking. Can't beat the price and value of the chain.

Good: Parking, check-in, comfy bed.
Bad: Hotel generally and room dated & tired compared to other HIE, bar/restaurant no atmosphere (no nearby alternatives), waiter serving food said get condiments from bar then left before I could ask for cutlery so I went to bar where there was a queue and came back to the table where he just handed me a knife and fork without a napkin! Food wasn't that good either.
Won't be staying at this one again, other HEI far superior. This one needs attention

Good value for money friendly staff comfortable rooms

There were migrants staying at the hotel - not impressed, need to add this information upfront so business people can make a informed decision
2.5
Good stay, but the hotel is in need of major refubishment. Carpets and furnishings badly soiled & stained.

a convenient and pleasant place for an overnight stay

Very good value for money. Breakfast included and was very good buffet. Hot and cold food. We used the bar and restaurant too. Very good.

The carpets in the hotel and the seats in the restaurant had stains on them. I got the impression that few people were staying there long-term, coming down for breakfast in their pajamas and a dressing gown, is not a pleasant sight. I also noticed people filling a carrier bag up with food at breakfast time, such as 9 croissants, 2 takeaway coffees, and filling a bottle with orange juice to take away with them after their breakfast, is also not a good sight.

Nice, tidy, spacious room with pretty much everything you need. Only thing was there was no mirror on the table thing for a woman to do hair and makeup which led me to holding a camera up for a friend while she did hers haha

Very friendly staff. Room was comfortable.

Rooms are a bit tired. All interactions with staff was very good, friendly and very helpful. Bed comfy. Breakfast was fine and plenty of choice, poor coffee machine. The element of social housing in the hotel sets a tone that I assume the hotel doesn’t want, nor do I as a paying guest (and not cheap rates at that).

Given the room rate at GBP119 per night, it is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in my life as a frequent traveller. The carpet all around the hotel is like over 50 years, worn out and with heavy stains. The bath towel is so worn out with holes and broken edges. The curtain is broken at the top and almost couldn't be closed. Definitely no maintenance to keep up to reasonable standards. Breakfast is horrible! Staff not friendly at all. In conclusion, it was an absolute nightmare!!

Check in was easy, parking and and location is good. Hotel overall is looking tired and worn and requires refurb

Holiday Inn in Redditch is a giodxsize hotel. With excellent front desk and friendly staff. The room was fairly clean, comfortable king size bed. There was torrential rain and local flooding. The wifi went down and mobile phone signals werent possible in the hitel for a number of hours. Which was extremly inconvenient. I probably would stay there again. However we did enjoy the self service continental or full english breakfast.
2.5
Nice hotel in a good location. Pleasant staff. Room was OK but TV was a bit on the small side. Food was average but what you’d expect from a budget hotel. Breakfast had the usual selection at the buffet. No fresh orange though. Only the watered down stuff.

I have never been to any of your hotels before but certainly will be back at your to then again The bed was fantastic thank you

Room quite comfortable, sofa: was aching after sit for a longer period, could be improved. Breakfast not as good as hoped - informed reception on arrival am vegan. Some 'vegan' sausages were available, didn't like this brand, no soya 'milk' after first night, didn't bother to get any for other two breakfasts, so no cereals.

Breakfast was always hot and ready for everyone and always enough and staff was friendly

Not knowing Redditch it was bit okward the traffic, lots of one way roads. Otherwise a good location close to the centre.

Really clean and lovely staff. Comfortable room and the sofa bed was too. Breakfast was included which was excellent for the price we paid. Will definitely stay again if in this area.
1.5
Room comfortable but the service for breakfast was terrible. OK breakfast was busy but the time it took to replenish was ridiculous. Stood for 15 to 20 minutes waiting for food to be replenished then a further 15 to 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee
4.0
Just one thing that was unsatisfactory was the breakfast by 9.05 there was only beans bacon and hash browns they said they had run out of other items. Not really good for customers
5.0
Good for a quick overnight stay. Comfortable beds and very clean.
Breakfast a bit hit and miss as the reception person was also responsible for stocking up the hot breakfast too.
Came to check out, waited 15 minutes and still no one came to the desk. Waited with 2 other sets of people and in the end we just dropped the keys in the key box and left. Should have more staff on.. especially for reception.
3.0
Fairly good. Comfortable and clean but poor breakfast choices. Only pork sausages and bacon that I am unable to eat. No choice of eggs, plus the only eggs they had were scrambled and tasted like powdered eggs. No whole milk only semi- skimmed

The Staffs are very helpful and nice. But it seems little bit old

Good location, comfortable bed, nice breakfast.
Cleanliness can be improved in the toilet and shower.
1.5
Cold in the reception and dining area, with ridiculously small plates for breakfast.

Not the greatest hotel I have stayed at. Staff friendly but hotel very cold lots of guests moaning about the heating. Fan noise all night. Food not great. Hostess tray in room not exactly overstocked. 2 sachets sugar only yet 4 milks no hot chocolate or biscuits.very disappointed overall.
4.0
Overall the hotel was pretty decentall you would expect from a holiday inn express. Good staff, clean, nice size room. Only comment is that the breakfast could've used with a little more option, especially as toast topping, working with only butter and Marmite was a bit lacking.
