Overall staff were excellent and rooms were very comfortable and clean. Limited restaurant menu choices and pricey for what it was.

Great hotel and staff were lovely. The shuttle service from the hotel to ski lot and centre of town is second to none.

This hotel fully deserves the accolades it receives from most guests. The staff are all very friendly. A special mention has to be made for the lovely Emma the hotel receptionist whose very warm welcome and constant friendly attention and demeanour really made our stay such a delight. The shuttle service to the town and slopes is extremely efficient and we never had to wait long. The rooms are spacious and practical and completely justify a 4 star rating. Breakfast was very good with the chef’s willing to take special orders like a white egg omelette. The cheese fondue’s at dinner were excellent. It was our first stay and we will definitely be back. I met one family who had stayed 7 times. Megev as a resort is a gem. My 13 year old son said it was the best holiday of his life and he loved the pool and jacuzzi which is a really nice facility. Other guests and families staying were all friendly and polite. We both enjoyed a wonderful massage at the spa. The delicious crepes available when you come back from skiing are a real treat. I have nothing negative to say and we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended and the hotel really does not disappoint. 5 star service in a great location with excellent facilities and dining. Very efficient room service as well all requests met in minutes unlike most other hotels. Thank you to all the team at the hotel and the drivers which made our stay so memorable. Simon and Solomon

Brilliant stay, loved the hotel, its location and the service level

Excellent hotel. Family of 5 (three young children) and we stayed for 7 nights in a Grande Suite, which provided a reasonable amount of space. The facilities of the hotel are very good, and although clearly not brand new it's maintained to a very high standard and everything in the public areas and the room was impecably clean.
Megève is a phenominal place in every regard. It's a small town rather than some of the purpose-built ski resorts. Not ski-in/ski-out, but the other side of this is that there are lots of facilities and choice.
The only slight grumbles are that the hotel is a bit out of town (and the navettes to town/the slops don't run to a timetable so it's difficult to predict when to meet them), the breakfast felt a bit limited (we mostly used the kitchenette in our room to do a quick breakfast before heading out), and it'd be nice to see more vegetarian/vegan options on the restaurant/room service menu. It'd also be nice to have a kids' playroom as some other ski resort hotels have.
These are minor though.
The thing that really made this hotel, though, are the staff and the standard of service. Absolutely everyone working in the hotel was professional, extremely friendly, and went out of their way to help in every situation, even offering to assist when really no assistance was needed. This applies to the reception staff, in the bar/restaurant, the porters, and housekeeping.
Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. They were well set up to cater for skiing and families.

A little out of town about a 15min walk but there’s also a shuttle bus every 15mins until 11pm. Facilities good our 2 bed suite was very spacious, although bunk room was s small but sofa bed comfortable, main bedroom very firm bed. Spa was good & pool enjoyed by kids. Our biggest disappointment was check out- 11am was very early & getting them to push back till 12 without charge was difficult they wanted €300 for later despite room not being booked after our stay. There was a large number of rooms booked among our party & as this is an annual trip a more flexible approach would have guaranteed repeat business.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing and most of the staff members are very nice, but a mixture of inadequate services and bad policies makes vacationing here a chore.
I reserved a suite with a kitchenette. My suite did not have a kitchenette. My bill was not adjusted to reflect this.
The hotel's only restaurant for dinner is often full and may require reseverations. Room service ends at 7pm. The hotel is not within walking distance of any restaurants. This is obviously a problem if you don't know exactly when you want to have dinner each night. The restaurants in town also often require reservations.
On New Years they only serve a "special" $250 euro pp 3hr dinner and room service stops at 4pm. They neglected to email us this information. You will not be able to eat in town without a reservation on NYE either. They were kind enough to order a (horrible) pizza and bag of undressed lettuce so we would not go hungry.
One night after eating dinner in the restaurant I became violently ill and vommitted all over my bedroom's patio. I spent the next day recovering and not skiing. I can't say for certain that the restaurant gave me food poisoning, but I only had coffee and a croissant for lunch on the mountain.
If you order room service, be sure to specify that they bring utensils. On both occassions they failed to provide silverware. They kept saying all rooms have utensils in the kitchenette, but ours did not have a kitchenette or utensils. On one occassion they did not bring

The service we received during our stay could not have been better! From the generosity of staff upgrading our room, to the most stunning apartment looking out to the mountains, to each member greeting us throughout our stay and checking in with us about our holiday - we couldn’t have been better looked after. I booked this as a retirement treat to my parents, and the luxurious service and standard of the hotel made it truly special. We agreed that the hotel was the best we’d all stayed in, and felt spoilt to have such a breathtaking suite. The service was impeccable, the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating to us, even helping organise skiing, transport & other recommendations outside from the hotel. We have fallen so in love with Megève and the hotel, I hope to get back next year with a few more of the family as I can’t stop telling everyone about just how magical the whole experience was.

We have stayed several times at this hotel and have ben very happy with it. It is located up the hill from the town towards the Mont D'Arbois ski area. Walking into town is no problem but would I try and avoid walking back up although we have done it. The hotel provides an excellent shuttle service into town with last shuttle back at 11pm. After 11pm we managed to find taxis. The shuttle also takes you to the Mont D'Arbois ski area, a phonemail gets you home.
We normally go for a few days and this time we were very off-peak in mid December, the hotel kindly gave us upgraded rooms to suites which was appreciated. Staff at the hotel were particularly pleasant. If I have any gripe it is that breakfast at €25 per head still seems a bit too much.
The spa was particularly enjoyed by the two 20 year olds we had with us.
Megeve remains a favourite ski area although it is not cheap. We were lucky with the weather for our first two days although the ski are open on 16/17 December was limited. Unfortunately the lifts were closed on the third day due to high winds and rain so check all weather forecasts and amount of lifts open if you are going last minute at off peak times.

What a great hotel! Staff were all AMAZING with no exception. Convenient shuttle to town or to the slopes every 15 min.
The only reason I rated it a 4 out of 5 is the bed was supper hard. That’s a personal preference, if my wife reviewed this hotel she would have given a 5 out of 5. But I honestly couldn’t sleep because the stiffness of the bed, was supper hard.

The stay at the hotel was excellent,

Great familiy hotel when choosing a suite and you want childredn to sleep separately to have privacy. Shuttle to town centre or 2 minute drive.
4.7
Best staff I have ever experienced on a skiing holiday
The shuttle service is very good never had to wait for long
Nothing is too much trouble at this hotel
4.7
This is a very nice hotel. The Staff are very helpful and professional - excellent - Only complaint was bathroom facilities in suite for family of four far too small and and no mirrors in suite for getting dressed and bathroom was a little tired in some places
4.7
Perfect location for accessing the Ski slopes and the town, stunning views across the town and valley, perfect mix of traditional classic chalet and modern interior decor, the facade of the hotel looks stunning at night with all of twinkling lights.
4.7
Beautifully and newly renovated and decorated. Great location with views of downtown Megeve. Convenient shuttle service every 15 mins to mountain ski lifts and downtown made getting around easy and no need to drive or look for parking when going out to dinner. Restaurant and bar/lounge on property were great and staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was our second time here, 2 adults and four children. The apartments are great for families. We had a fab time and will go back again!
