Excellent property. Nice staff.
The gym was OK

This is a lovely hotel located on the edge of the lake.
Ideal stay for a few days, slightly remote so would recommend a car if staying more than 2.
Staff were excellent and one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a while.
Spa is amazing and very relaxing - well worth booking a slot to use this
We had an issue or two with our room, but was instantly resolved

The staff was very attentive and friendly. At check in they insisted on taking our bags to our room and escorted us to go over the amenities and answer questions.
The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We particularly liked the pool and sculptures around the landscape.we also liked that they are right on the lake but separated from the public walk.
Our favorite part of the experience was our waiter Michael. He made the experience very special. We liked everything so much that we returned 3 nights later on our way back to Milan. We had our best night there with Michael as our waiter again.
We have shared the experience with our friends and family. We can’t say enough good things about our experience at the resort.

This was a nice hotel, but not five-star quality. Restaurant service was very slow for dinner, wine did not arrive in time, getting a bill was almost impossible. There was no service, towels or drinks available at the outdoor pool by 5pm. The jacuzzi in the indoor spa was not working properly. Staff was not as attentive as they should at this price range. However, location was nice by the lakeside, boats to Sirmione leave by the hotel, and the rooms are nice and clean

Excellent hotel right on the lake. You must try the Rivale restaurant

The hotel was clean, the room was great with a well stocked bar, and spacious bathroom with walk in shower.
The spa services were good as was the service from the hotel staff. I loved the direct access to the stunning lake. Would love to go back.

We loved our stay at Splendido Bay, the location on the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed some fabulous meals, the food in Ravale and Aqua Riva very good, we did feel service could be improved in both these restaurants, a bit more attention to detail was all that was required, for example, the filling of wine glasses and descriptions of food on serving.
Drinks at the bar a high point, served by the fabulous Danilo, an asset to the resort.
Rooms very comfortable and keep to a great standard. Would definitely return.

Staff were excellent and hotel clean and tidy . We struggled a bit with food choice but this was the same within the resort . Hotel and surrounding lakeside very busy at weekend but very chilled in week .

Beautiful hotel, and the staff was very attentive and friendly.

We were on our honeymoon and it wasn’t even acknowledged, they actually put us in a room above the kitchen and restaurant which was noisy up until midnight. There was no air conditioning and we couldn’t open the window because of all of the noise beneath us.
We were treated completely differently to Chinese and German guests staying there and it was obvious they wouldn’t give us the time of day. They provided these other guests with nicer rooms and better service.
I complained about the room and also that the restaurant offering room service being closed on our first night (after a 9hr drive!) we were told to eat I. Their expensive posh restaurant or go out and get pizza!

Nice and relaxing stay in the Splendido Bay. Breakfast was delightful, Spa treatments were fabulous although indoor pool and spa area was closed for renovations, room and hotel was lovely and clean although completely overpriced, Pool and lake access was lovely. Reception staff not of a 5* standard. Not very helpful at all. Lunch was very poor and staff were quite pushy.

Great hotel in perfect location. Excellent grounds and good food options …. Albeit expensive restaurants.

Fantastic location, great rooms with private terrace, exceptional good breakfast and most importantly kindly and very service minded staff that you did not notice at all but still makes sure everything was to you satisfaction.
We will definitely come back.

The pool area was so unique. The pool was very small but the pool area was shaded (much needed as it was 90 degrees). It was more of a quiet hang out area.
The staff went way out of their way to assist us with breakfast before an early train.
The rooms were very clean and the shower, towels and bed were comfortable.

One of the handful of hotels/resorts that are available in January around Lake Garda. Value for money with a decent, traditional Italian restaurant within the premises.

Big room but very poor furniture dark bathroom simple bed small sleeping room very simple and far away from luxury!!!!

Great rooms and fit for families. Amazing dinning experience. Internet can improve.

Splendido bay resort is an amazing little gem. It offers top-notch service and amenities nestled in a quieter area of Lake Garda yet very easily accessible to all the main attractions and restaurants. It has beautiful lake views and is right on a little beach/pier. The pool is lovely and the staff are all friendly and attentive. The food was always excellent. I would definitely return and highly recommend this resort!

Lack of mirrors in room, poor drawer space, other than that the hotel was fantastic.

Really great five star place with modern refurbished rooms friendly and discrete staff, great breakfast and conveniently located at the lake. Swim inside, outside or in the Garda lake. Wonderful. Rent a bike and visit Desenzano. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Top. Hope to go back for a longer stay soon!

Fantastic property. Restaurant is magnificent. Everything was great as usual. Except for spa treatment. My wife was cheated by a spa therapists and although we complained nothing was done

Incredibile experience at Splendido Bay. Rooms are beautiful, as well as the lobby, the spa, the garden. What it is really amazing is the service. From the receptionist to the driver everybody is super kind and welcomy.

A wonderfully relaxing stay! Staff were great & very friendly. Think it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had! Loved the smoothies that you can make yourself! Lovely pool, sauna & steam area.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location, accommodations and service were very good. Our family of 4 had booked the family suite, which were two adjoining rooms. There was plenty of space and amenities. The area itself was a little lacking in activities.

This is the best hotel I have stayed in for a long time and although it is not cheap, it was excellent value for money considering its facilities, idylic setting, excellent food and first class staff and service. Parking was, no extra charge and a fabulous breakfast was included in the room rate.
My family had suffered a very poor quality hotel in Santa Margherita only a few days before traveling to Lake Garda so Splendido did much to make up for our earlier disappointment and I will definitely return next year.

Our stay at Splendido bay was relaxing with beautiful views across the lake, recently rennovated and new owners to the property has made a big difference. They have added 2 new restaurants and the food is quality, a little overpriced but worth it. Poolside bar is also an addition with afternoon snacks. All staff polite and attentive at all times with no exception spared. Have been to this hotel 4 times, 3 when it was Relais Emilliano and this time as Splendido Bay, and will definitely stay here again

From the moment you check in at the hotel you are greeted by amazing front of house staff who take care of everything. Friendly, professional and welcoming...The hotel is a tranquil place but with families and couples... it is definitely 5 STAR - from the picturesque setting to the restaurants and bar and the hotel rooms (we had a 1 bedroom suite).Unlike so many hotels, we never had to scramble for a lounger by the pool as there is so much space (this was in AUGUST!) There is an outdoor and indoor pool and both are large and immaculate. Our children (8yrs and 6yrs) loved the place and the staff really take the time to make the trip great for kids as well as adults (but there are not too many kids running around - in fact you dont even notice the ones that are there!!)We ate in the main restaurant twice and the restaurant in the hotel grounds (Il Rivale) and both were top quality. The drinks are also VERY reasonably priced - we are sued to paying Dubai prices so paying 25 euros for a decent bottle of wine was cheap at half the price! We also hired a boat and the hotel arranged that for us - they picked us up and dropped us back at the hotel. The hotel offer a shuttle service. You may use this free at certain set times but for 20 euros a night outside the normal times it is worth every penny... we mainly ate in Desenzano which is only 3 miles away and has LOTS of bars, restaurants and shops.... simply call the hotel and they will send the shuttle service for you

Finding the hotel was very easy as was checking in, helped by an upgrade as soon as we arrived which was much needed as would have been difficult otherwise with a 10m old baby. The hotel staff were very helpful, the food very nice in all restaurants (even room service was a high standard). The swimming pool area/general gardens were very well maintained and whilst I didn't use the spa (only the gym) it also looked very clean and offered lots of treatments. The gym was small and let down by lack of equipment but If you like running machines/ x-trainers then it's fine and rarely used. I believe all the rooms are ground floor, we had a corner plot with a garden facing the Lake, great for a baby wanting to crawl everywhere and also giving you extra privacy if needed. The rooms themselves where nice especially as we had a 2 bed villa with tiny lounge area, this enabled us to put the cot in the 2nd room and having some space left for ourselves.
NOTE: Whilst we didn't have a problem getting our baby to sleep, there is a beachbar/club the other side of the Lake, which despite being a fair distance away generates a lot of noise, it did calm down 10.30pm but we went at the start of the summer so would expect that to get worse or better depends what side of the age bracket your on.

Hotel was lovely, recommending eating there and not their more prestige restaurant down the road, meal was not quite so good for the money paid!

We had a really good experience staying at the hotel. The staff were more more than happy to help. We had a problem with the shuttle that we booked going back from the hotel to the airport and the friendly staff arranged their own driver to take us back to the airport in good time for our flight without charging us a single euro. This was such a good gesture. Thanks you so much for all your help and making our stay very special. Would definitely come back.

Definitly coming back. Staff was great. SPA and food excelent.
