Great hotel

The hotel is a class act. Beautiful and clean. However, the kids running around screaming at the top of their lungs until way past midnight, made this classy establishment equal to a hotel 6. Very disappointing

Quick check in. Room was clean. Quiet at night. But a little noisy in the am with the construction. Everyone here was nice. We will be back in May.

The room I was assigned smelled bad, the second room was the same. The third was a bit better.
I recommend the hotel to take off the carpets, specially because it is a pet friendly hotel.
It is conveniently located near the outlets. The space in the rooms is excelent for a family of four.

Well it was my first time at this hotel and I was very impressed with room and breakfast. Even the bar . Just wow .

Had a nice stay at Embassy Suite at SanMarcos for Thanksgiving Night
3.0
We were there for a dance competition. Rooms and facility just ok and some staff friendly and some staff not. The main complaint was the food. The hours food was available was ridiculously few and the food was not good. The hotel is not within walking distance so people were having to depend on Door Dash. No reason not to make food available when you have a large convention staying up to three nights.

Nice stay for one night. Easy to get too. Breakfast was delicious.

We had an amazing stay. Service and Breakfast buffet were great. We had a high school baseball club next door to us and the noise kept my husband awake. Also, it was a little pricey compared to others in the area. Other than that, I would highly recommend staying here.

Great service from check-in to check-out.

We enjoyed our stay with Embassy Suites in San Marcos and will be staying here again when visiting our college student. Very nice hotel.

This hotel is very old and run down. The first room we were given smelled terrible - like old cigarettes and stale. The second room was better but still had a bad smell. The AC didn’t work well. The rooms are dark. It was expensive for the condition of the hotel. I would not stay here again.

So EVERY SINGLE TIME they do not acknowledge platinum AMEX members. And pretty sure I am not getting points which of course cause me to spend EXTRA time to research. In addition the front desk did not add my husband to room which in the course of the visit meant when we locked the card in the room I had to personally come down to verify. He was definitely standing there at check in. Front desk BAD

Spacious and clean. My kids loved the pool and the breakfast. Well worth the money.

I like it!!!

The first night in my stay, the AC didn’t work. The second night the toilet began to randomly back flow and flood my room. I tried to call the front desk 3 times but the automated system said no one was available. There were 3 people at the desk when I came down. Maintenance showed up and quickly fixed and cleaned up the flooded bathroom. I was comped a night of parking for the inconvenience, so that was nice. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but the atmosphere of the hotel was decent. Likely will not rebook. The parking lot was as large as a mall parking lot, so to charge for parking seemed extreme to begin with.

We have been going to this property ever since it was built. This will be our last time. The rooms smell like body odor. We've stayed there twice in the past 3 weeks and you walk in and it immediately smells. Staff is very friendly - but breakfast has gone downhill. No water, juice cups are tiny, scrambled eggs are horrific. Overall the smell really knocks you out and we just can't anymore.

Best experience, would definitely book again if in the area

The only thing we didn’t like was the fact we paid $12 for parking! We love staying at Embassy Suites every time we go to different cities and we never had to pay for parking.

Awesome property. Enjoy the feel to it.

Well, just to be direct, my son plays football for Texas State University, with this being said, I would expect a more clean exterior. The trash, and bugs, the stains on the carpet, holes and rips in furniture. This property is in need of a renovation!!! However, the service was GREAT, minus the angry omlet cook.....

Initially, room had some issues, but staff jumped in and took good care of us.

For how expensive this place is, we had a horrible experience. Breakfast area where the milk and cereal was has a bunch of small roaches. Did not want to use the breakfast anymore for the remainder of the days. I have pictures of it. To top it off on our 2nd night we got woken up by the fire alarm at 1am, waited outside of the hotel in the middle of the night for about an hour until fire department cleared the area. I almost left our 3rd night because of this.

Terribly understaffed. Went down for breakfast and there was 1 fry cook - line was 30 people long - and the breakfast "eggs" and bacon in the buffet style line were all gone. Waited 20 minutes for scrambled eggs to come out - never did. Bacon came out 10 minutes later - top 1/4 were freshly cooked all of the others were overdone and not edible. Our room also smelled like a wet dog. Tons of dogs in the rooms. We don't pay to stay in a hotel to have dog hair as we're allergic to pet hair. Property has really, really gone down since it first opened.

The room was outdated and very dirty. The shower was molded on the walls and bottom of the bathtub and smelled of mildew. One morning the continental breakfast opened 30 minutes late.

Rooms smelled dank, moldy— like a mildewed shoe. Bedding was not commensurate with the price— which was over $300 /night. Looked like price gouging due to local college starting school the following Monday. Will not stay here again.

Rooms had a terrible odor. Moved from one too another. Still smelled bad but not as bad as the first. The rooms weren’t cleaned properly and need upgrades badly.

The hotel was OK but NOT for the rate we were charged. The halls and elevators were dirty on several. The location is great. Right off the Hwy and close to the outlets.
4.0
Restroom toilet was clogged, there was hair on the toilet, the room smelt funny, shower tub was stained and dirty. Overall the property is not well kept. But the staff was great at accommodating our needs.

Elevators are woeful. For a ginormous hotel there are two elevators (one was out of order)
Took us FIFTEEN minutes to get to the lobby from the fifth floor with our luggage trolley. Every elevator was stuffed full at checkout time.
Rooms are great as always, breakfast is fantastic.
There was a lady selling Hilton timeshare which I didn’t like

We were in town for daughter birthday and ended up leaving as grandparents when she decided to deliver over the weekend! We have always loved Embassy Suites and this time was no different, only negative was elevators to slow and some not working

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable.

We are old people, but not handicapped. We are strong still can lift heavy loads. You gave us a handicap room and the bathroom shower do not work through your technician approved cannot be repaired then agree to change to the other room. The changed room shaver is ok, but the air condition was set to 66 F and can not adjust up to 76 F; we stay in a cold room all night. After we check out your clerk said everything ok do not have extra charge; but after we went home we find out you extra ch us $14.00. We did not drink your bottle water, We don’t know why you charge us $14.00. Wish you can refund the $14.00 immediately.
