Hotel was good, however VERY out of the way of the actual city. Breakfast has weird hours and very limited seating, would've been nice if they had a restaurant and shuttle service for the airport. The little store didn't really have anything, but there's a Tim Hortons down the street and a Starbucks in the other hotels down the way. It was great for what we needed, however next time I don't think we'd stay here for something in the city. Staff were friendly enough though.

Elevators very slow and one broken. Had to use staircase many times but lots of kids playing around . Bathroom area- water runs to bathroom easily (very low barrier) and small pool with lots of kids (very noisy can hear up to 2nd floor at times . comfortable bed , Breakfast okay. (Powered eggs and greasy sausage) Location excellent!

I paid for a room for 5 people. So the room I booked had a fold out for the extra people. The fold out was an old mattress with springs that dug into the body. The middle sank in. And it was so springy, that all you had to do was lift an arm and it would squeak. I got about 2 1/2 hours sleep on it. I asked for a replacement mattress or a mattress topper. I was given a piece of a mattress cover. One elevator was out so there was only one for all the guests. Waiting at times for the elevator was 4/5 minutes. Then the side door entrance was not working I was so disappointed in this hotel as holiday inn is my go to for hotel stays. Thumbs down and 0 stars I am going to look into getting some form of refund for the extra I paid for..$700 was definitely not worth it

One of the elevators are not working and this has been happening for quite awhile. I wish i should've requested lower floor so that i can just walk up the stairs to avoid the wait escpically during breakfast time. Other than this issue, everything was great!

Great location, good condition, easy access, above average continental breakfast offered. Definitely good choice when you visiting Richmond Hill area. The only thing I will suggest to improve is to replace AC filter since from time to time it will smell when fan/ac on.

The staff was nice but we had a terrible experience with the hotel room itself. We got at our hotel late at night and went into our room and it smelled terrible like stinky socks and we couldn’t stay there. We were out at 2 am looking for another hotel and fortunately we found one but we couldn’t get refunded for this hotel and we asked for a different room the next day since they only had that one room the day prior and they showed us another room that had the same stinky sock smell problem. yuck! honestly the price was higher than the hyatt hotel we stayed at before so I thought it wouldn’t be as bad as it was but it really stinked super bad and I had to go do my computer work in the lobby away from that stinky room

Room was smelly like a mold ! So strange than the rest of Holiday Inn Express that I have stayed ! The washroom has no vent, and the sink seems clogged with water going down very slow… terribly managed, disappointed !

Staff was quite pleasant. Gym was very limited. We stayed in the summer - the rooms felt very humid, to the point that the sheets on the bed felt damp, and the rooms had a musty smell. Fans in the a/c were going all the time, making it difficult to get the temperature correct overnight. Beds were not comfortable, pillows were flat. Overall, apart from the staff, not a great experience. Would not stay here again.
