My room had clearly been occupied for more than one night and not cleaned before I checked in- something sticky was spilled on the night stand, the stovetop was dirty, carpet not vacuumed, and the bed linens stunk. Epoxy repair in the bathroom looked very rushed and there were gross brown spots on the overhead light. The walls are thin and the blackout curtains are only designed to cover half the window, so it's bright all night and you have to run the AC on high to keep it cool during the day. The nightstand lights have an odd power button placement that's not easy to find in the dark. Last but not least, there was police presence in the parking lot when I checked in around 2am, and again when I checked out at 11am. I think it may have been due to the adjacent motel, but it still made me feel uneasy. There's definitely a lot of wear and tear visible throughout hotel. There are signs up saying that they are working on renovations- but I didn't see any actual indicators of work being done.

This property is in dire need of proper management. The room we stayed in was dirty. Curtains were heavily stained, mold on the bathroom shower walls, bathroom door had more missing paint than painted surface, the door clearly had a pry bar used on it at one point, pool doors unlocked and clearly people had friends coming I from the street to use the facilities, asked on 3 separate occasions for room service to clean (stayed 8 nights) but only got a bare minimum clean (no vacuum, no toiletries) and the front counter rarely had anyone at the desk. A complete waste of money.

Don't get a room on the first floor. Room was damp and humid. Had gnats and ants. Housekeeping was terrible even after requesting service. My sister's room on 3rd floor was fine.

You could smell the cleaning products used upon entry to the establishment. The interior of the lobby was very low class and wood paneling around the walls looked gnawed in places. The hallways looked nice. The room was average. The tub was leaking, and missing some partfrom the side wall. The hook on the back of the bathroom door was torn away, and the ironing board was missing from the room.

I had a res. at this hotel for 3 nits. Upon check-in they started off by giving me a different room than what I had booked. I booked a dbl room as I was traveling w/ my 17 yr old son, but they gave me a sgl king room. When I brought this to their attn they acted like I should just take the king rm because it was an “upgrade.” I told them I didn’t want to share a bed with my teenage son unless it was a last resort option, (I’m his 40 year old Mother BTW). So after some discussion of them wanting to put a roll-a-way bed in the single rm to accommodate us, I asked them if they had any double rms available…and they said YES…I said well give me a double rm that will solve the entire problem! Shockingly, they never thought of this! When I get to the room it was a disaster! The curtains wouldn’t cover the windows entirely because of missing panels and huge holes in the curtains themselves, the TV did NOT work, the phone did NOT work, the bathroom was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since 1985 and the room overall was just dirty, unkempt and outdated compared to the hotels in the area (which I have stayed at with NO trouble). I went to the front desk and told them about my issues with the room and before I could finish speaking, the hotel manager said “we are going through renovations so there are some things such as the phone that don’t work…we don’t offer refunds.” I asked if she could FIX the issues. She repeated the renovations excuse!! We checked out with NO refund!

Worst hotel I’ve ever been to. Mold and stains everywhere in the room. Paint on the door was peeling off. They wouldn’t give a refund even though we reported everything immediately. Was not interested in another room. We were traveling with our 3 month old and if they were okay with giving us a room like that, I wasn’t interested in a new room. The manager doesn’t care, which is fine because in the state of Michigan they take mold complaints seriously, so this is being reported to the health department. Also, contacted the GM of the hotel.

The hotel was fine for the night we stayed but, it was not very clean. The tub was filthy so we didn’t even use the shower. There were outlet covers ripped off the wall and wires hanging. It was in a decent, safe area and close to where our destination was so that was a plus.

At check-in, they gave me a double bed which I asked for a king. Gave us a different room that was already occupied went to front desk for a third time to get the key sink in the bathroom was very clogged. We asked to have it cleared did not come that day tried to come in our room the next morning without knocking, luckily we were dressed and getting ready to go or we would have had a horrible surprise from the maintenance guy people at front desk people at front desk had their children there and doing nothing but hanging out

We stayed in a handicap room on the second floor (though we didn’t request it) there was empty shampoo bottle in the walk in shower, where the water got all over the floor no matter how careful we were. The removable shower head didn’t stay up, the grout in the tile was coming out and the paint on the door was peeling. The doors stuck and the smell in the room was horrible. Did not feel clean at all. The customer service was horrible, I was argued with by the night staff and the manager in the morning. They were unaccommodating and rude. Their one washer and dryer didn’t work well at all and cost $3 a load. The dryer never did dry my clothes and the manager didn’t care. We will never stay at this hotel again. I do not recommend it at all.

Property would have provided discount but since we were through expedia instead of a direct booking they couldn’t fo anything. Door jams were not sealed well and could see light around entire door and was larger gap at top of the door.

I have never experience anything like this in my life. The comfort suit are disgusting! Our room curtains, bed sheets, floor bathroom were not clean at all. Staying here was the worst decision I’ve made in my life.

We are on a travel softball team, so we stay at many hotels. This was by far the worst stay we have ever had. Most memorable, we won’t forget. And will never stay at this hotel or any others owned by the same company or property management. From the time we got there, the front desk receptionist wasn’t well spoken or put together. Had to ask him to repeat himself several times. His hair long hair was shaved an inch back on his head. It wasn’t professional to say the least. The hallways were covered in garbage and looked as if they hadn’t been swept or vacuumed in….ever. The room had holes in the wall, drywall pieces in the bathroom and a gummy bear in the bed. The other patrons (a huge group of teenagers) joined us in the pool. They were rude, unruly, swearing, diving and jumping in with several little kids also trying to swim and play. Adults had to ask them to watch the language. Hours later, the police were actually called. I wasn’t witness to that, but other parents on our team heard all the commotion in the hall and investigated. I was violently throwing up in my room. I felt fine. No stomach issues….It was the chlorine! In the morning when leaving, looking into the pool room, the pool had a film on top that was swirling around. Something you would see on top of a swamp. The whole experience was unfortunate and very disappointing. We couldn’t check out this morning fast enough.

The property is on a very busy road and parking is limited. The house keeping was below par. The beds were not made up properly, second day we coul not make coffee since the maid did not leave the tray to hold the coffee pod, the breakfast is to be desired, it is just something to gobble quickly to satisfy your hunger and run to the meeting or something like that.The front desk staff were not that presentable clothes wise. The night clerk who received us was not that polite when we asked him direction for the nearest restaurant to have a quick bite, since it was 9:30 PM by the time we reached the hotel

False advertisement online, property was under renovation for months after speaking to long term guest. No silverware nor pots to cook in. No dishes available. Pillow cases were stained and warned out. Furniture in room was mismatched and wood was chipped, stove was in poor condition. After submitting pics, still no refund. But I will keep trying.
