Rooms were spacious but old/dated. Furniture left a lot to be desired. Bath towels were tiny. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The cottage was terribly noisy, both room next door and trash trucks at 4am.

Beautiful and historic buildings with fabulous courtyards. Southern hospitality at its best. Looking forward to our next stay.

Beautiful place and friendly staff. However, our room smelled of mold and had sticky carpet and peeling wallpaper. The place as a whole is beautiful and convenient.

Misled by picture and untrue amenities. Southern charm was a no…
“Greyhound flats” is across the street in a dirt parking lot surrounded by a cement block wall. Interior was fine but modern. Not what I was looking forward to for a vacation to the south.
“Breakfast included” was a lie. We got vouchers to the bagel shop across the street that covered only one bagel sandwich + one coffee for 1 person (total voucher amount ($14). We were 4 people. Completely fooled by this place.

Bathroom needs attention- was even moved to a second room because shower in first was dirty. Outlets in second bathroom didn’t work = couldn’t use hair dryer, etc.

From start to departure, my stay was stellar. I checked in late thursday evening. My check in process was stellar, my check out flawless. I have no further words to express my pleasure. I will return for a personal visit and for a longer stay.

Beautiful old-school look

Check-in was easy and fun; the personnel at check-in were a pleasure and greeted us like old friends. Our room was in one of the stand alone buildings with a balcony and patio, but it was too hot to enjoy being outdoors so the inside AC and bottled water offered were great. EZ parking and great breakfast options./

Different than the usual chain hotels

I really like this Inn. It feels like a time capsule in Beaufort. The room was great bed comfortable, very quiet. The breakfast voucher for the two breakfast places a block away was good. This is an old soul place not a slick generic hotel. If you appreciate southern charm and style and don’t demand room service etc this is a great experience.

We arrived late at 11:00pm, and Pebbles was so warm and welcoming. Gave us the history of the Inn and helped us add another night to our stay. Walked us to our room and even pointed out good breakfast places for next morning that we could use vouchers at.

Wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend staying there!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was huge, clean, and beautiful. The grounds were lovely and very well maintained. The staff was exceedingly kind and even gave us a little tour of the grounds. It’s a short walk to the riverfront and all that Boundary Street has to offer. Will definitely stay here next time I’m in town!

Beautiful property with several options for rooms. Parking is easy, everything downtown is walkable and the staff is great.

We loved everything about the in. Super clean. Spacious, beautiful, great location and reasonably priced. We will be back and we will bring friends

This grand old lady (the main house) is showing her age but still oozes charm galore. Mostly tired room furniture. Staff is excellent and helpful. Good breakfast arrangement. We would stay here again.

I am sad to even write this. I was so excited as I booked this trip back in February. All I Have heard is how wonderful the Beaufort is. It absolutely missed the mark on so many levels! The place is falling apart and completely outdated. And the pillows and furniture were very dirty. I am highly disappointed and spent a lot of money to stay here!
4.6
The room was more than we expected. It was spacious and accommodating. We come to Beaufort every year and usually we stay at Hilton Head. Not any morel. Beaufort Inn from now on.
4.6
This Inn is gorgeous, and rooms are spacious with comfortable furniture. Great walking distance to all that downtown Beaufort has to offer. Highly recommend.

Perfect way to spend the 4th! My husband and Tully, our Boykin Spaniel, had a ball! We stayed in a king room and what a treat! Love the character and close proximity to everything! This may be our new tradition!

This was a wonderful place for relaxing and visiting the Lowcounry. I highly recommend and will return myself.

Property was very nice. Checkin and staff that gave the tour and instructions was very nice. I requested an additional night and was granted it. The bext morning a different gentleman was there with a completely different personality...no southern charm from him AT ALL. When i asked him the rate for the extension he quoted a rate of $399 per night. Are you kidding me? Almost double what i paid for the previous night. My husband and I came to the conclusion that "we werent welcome there" because even the price on their site was less than what he tried to charge us. Lovely place. but we decided to move on.

It was an amazing stay! The people were amazing and the room was clean and comfortable. We had the luxury king and the only issue was the shower was a little small.

I booked this property online, without seeing it in person. If I had seen it in person before I booked it, I would not have booked it. The view from the front of the Inn is an old, torn up, unattractive parking lot. It is an eyesore! Also, this property is in disrepair. We had use of the upper balcony on our room, and it was in very poor repair. Several rungs are missing in the railing, and the flooring under the railing is rotten. A small child could slip through and fall. I’m sure if this property was inspected, it would be shut down immediately. There was also mold on the ceiling in our bathroom and the decor of the inn is atrocious. Also, they don’t have a restaurant on site. They do graciously hand out food vouchers to a local restaurant, but not the same thing as staying in a true bed-and-breakfast. The only saving grace to our stay was the staff. They were very kind and extremely helpful.

We loved the room. It was spacious and lovely. The staff was helpful and the grounds are beautiful. It is close to the riverfront.W
e will stay again.

Charming inn with nicely furnished room that was conveniently located in the heart of Beaufort. Vouchers were given for breakfasts but we exceeded the amount. In our 3rd floor room the AC control did not work so the temperature went below 65 degrees.

Such a quaint place to stay. Walking distance to waterfront shopping and restaurants. Definitely recommend!
4.6
The room was very nice and the staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. I was surprised to find we were not in the main building, but I probably just didn't read the description well. The property consists of many buildings and they all looked beautiful and well-maintained. The grounds are amazing, too. They provided vouchers that paid a $7-10 on breakfast at either if two restaurants within sight of the Inn.
We enjoyed our stay very much!

This was a great place, one street back from Baystreet and an easy walk all over downtown Beaufort. We stayed in the Republic cottage, it was clean, nice living room area and lovely porch to sit. We could clearly hear the music from the waterfront festival going on and had the main building next door for access to staff and coffee/water in the parlor. Nice to have your own space. Zero complaints.

So close to historic downtown and waterfront park. Loved the ease of the location
4.6
Beautiful location with a short walk to Bay Street. We stayed in one of the annex houses. Loved the bricked walkways and courtyards throughout the property!
Breakfast is vouchers for couple of local restaurants. Highly recommend Rain'n Bagels!
Also recommend borrowing the bikes to ride around the streets to look at the beautiful homes.

We took the opportunity to stop in Beaufort on our way to Savannah. The Inn was marvelous, as expected. I had previously stayed there about 10 years ago and the experience now did not disappoint. My only minor complaint is in comparison to the previous visit when breakfast was served on the premises. Aside from this, everything was top notch.
4.6
My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay. The main House was beautiful and the grounds are so pretty. Savannah and Pebbles were amazing hosts.
4.6
Overall, this experience was unsatisfying. The room was very small. The bed was uncomfortable to say the least the furniture in the room was ramshackle and just got in the way. don’t think we’re coming back.
