Property owner was very attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a wonderful place to stay while in Florence. It is walking distance from all of the historical sites. It is close to so many restaurants. Francesca is so very helpful and available. I most strongly recommend staying here if you are going to be in Florence.

Really enjoyed the accommodation , very close to everything and comfortable.

The host. Francesca was amazing Lee helpful we would highly recommend this stay. It was very clean very comfortable.

Could not have asked for a better experience - in every way. The apartment was spacious and clean and in a brilliant location close to all the sights and landmarks. Our host Francesca was on hand if needed from start to finish, including the booking of transport to/from the airport. Overall, it was outstanding.

If there were 6 stars, we would give Francesca at the Palazzo Alfani all of them. She is a perfect host, the flat is spacious, right across the street from the entrance to the David. 4 Blocks from the Duomo, and close to great shopping. We loved it there.

The location was great and the people who ran it were also genuinely friendly/helpful. We enjoyed our stay quite a bit.

Absolutely beautiful 17 century apartment. Our host was amazing and very accommodating. Location was fantastic and close to everything. We will not hesitate to stay again.

This is a lovely, bright apartment with big windows, nice bathroom, and comfortable beds. Francesca always communicated in a prompt and friendly manner. We enjoyed our brief stay here.

Francesca was a great host! Great location as well.

Francesca is an amazing host. Highly recommend staying here!

Firstly this property is great for the price and location. It is huge and beautiful with high ceilings and a kitchen. The living room/kitchen is large and the bedroom is also large. One issue is that this property is right across from the Accademia, where David is housed, which is very convenient but it can be noisy at times. We didn’t get a car, and there where parking lots close by but it would not be easy to drive in this area. It is only about 1km from the train station though. Francesca is so kind and lovely and it was so nice to interact with her; she had many excellent recommendations. Big thanks to her!
4.8
Perfect location to see most of the historical sites in Florence. We were able to walk everywhere, including from the train station. Francesca was a great host and we will be booking there when we return to Florence.
4.8
Fantastic location right beside the museum housing David. Very central to everything, with a fairly short walk to the train station. Lovely bedroom and main room with high ceilings and large charming shuttered windows. Nicely updated bathroom and a little elevator which was convenient for getting luggage to room. The option to do breakfast just around the corner was really good for the price. We did the continental and really enjoyed it. The host/owner was wonderful and helped with any questions we had. We stayed in 3 different cities in Italy and by far this was our favourite city and accommodation.

A lovely home for a family stay, close to many sights and restaurants!

A comfortable apartment right across from the David. This makes it a busy street with foot traffic throughout the day but you don't notice it once in the room. The host was very friendly and allowed us to let ourselves into the room when we were ready. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Good and spacious apartment

The good: Francesca the owner is absolutely amazing and will do anything do make your stay enjoyable. Apt location is prime, walking distance to many attractions. The apt is in great condition and comes with a safe deposit box!. What could be better: the only thing missing here that would make the apt perfect is if it had washer and dryer on site, but there are some close by.

Great location for me. Clean room. Helpful staff.
4.8
A beautiful apartment full of character and charm in the center of the city, very convenient location. Tastefully furnished and comfortable.
4.8
This was an amazing place to stay in Florence. Francesca took care of all our needs, was very helpful in explaining everything around town, even allowed us to leave our luggage behind after checking out. This location is right in downtown will all museums and touristy areas right there.
4.8
The apartment was excellent - with a kitchen, bedroom, pullout couch and large bathroom. Everything was clean and very comfortable. It is right across from the academia which has the marble carved David by Michelangelo and the Duomo is right down the street and the Uffizi is a 5 minute walk. We had an afternoon tour on our last day and left our luggage with the owner - which we were very appreciative of. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay as it is close to all of the major attractions and a very nice place to stay.
4.8
This location was centrally located and is literally down the street from the duamo. We had stayed in Florence several times but this was our best experience. Francesca was amazing and she advised us she upgraded our room because it was available. We parked in a garage a few feet from the hotel and had plenty of food choices in the area. I would strongly recommend this place if you are staying in Florence.

Franchesca is amazing and is very mindful.of customer satisfaction. The location is 10/10 right in front of Academia. Duomo is a few.mins walk away.
4.8
Wonderful location literally across the pedestrian street from David entrance and a block from a plaza with plentiful cabs. Nicely kept, older building with lots of character. No lobby so you have to coordinate arrival time with the manager but she was very flexible and helpful.

My husband and I stayed in apartment 3D (1 BR facing the street) for four nights in September and LOVED this place. The apartment is spacious--living room with dining space & kitchenette, large bedroom, and large bathroom--and feels even larger thanks to four huge windows and high ceilings (I'd estimate around 18 feet). It's comfy too, with a king-sized bed with memory foam mattress, large shower (a rarity in Italy) with plenty of hot water, and TV with Fire stick to watch practically anything streamable in case you actually have time to watch TV. There's a very slow elevator that we used when going up (3rd floor is equivalent to 4th floor in the US). Plus, the location can't be beat. It's centrally located in what feels like a very safe part of the city. We even had a view of the Duomo from our windows!
Beyond our happiness with the unit, we were pleased with the service, despite there being no front desk. Francesca, the proprietor, lives on site and arranged an incredible visit to a nearby winery (Castello di Verrazzano). Her husband is a driver and has a clean large van.
We had read complaints about the noise level from the crowds gathered in front to enter the Galleria dell'Accademia, which is very literally across the tiny street, but we kept our windows open all day and all night (weather was beautiful) and were not bothered. It's almost a white noise.
My only ping is that some furniture was a bit worn. But who cares when you get this space at this price!

Amazing stay! It's like staying in an ancient palace, I love those massive windows, they are twice the size your apartment doors!! Host is super awesome! She gave us all the info we need to explore florence. Couple of my friends were already craving indian food since it was a week into our europe trip, she recommended a nice place.
Keep in mind, this place is right in the heart of florence historic center, so taking your car is restricted, you need to inform the host well in advance and there is a process involved if you want to enter the restricted area with your car, free parking is extremely difficult to find.

The location is fabulous. It is literally across the street from the Academie (houses The David), and within easy walking distance of everything, but it is not loud or disruptive. We were in an apartment that faced the street overlooking the Academie, and even with long lines early in the morning, we always got a great night’s sleep. It is also spacious, which helped us decompress (awa;y from each other) after long days. I do believe the booking said Clothes Washer when we booked (which was one of the reasons we booked this) but our apartment did not have one. (Others may, I’m not sure.). There is a convenient laundry about 4 blocks away, but you have to wait there for your clothes so it is not as convenient as having it in the apartment. Other than that, it was fabulous. For the price point, 5 star. Francesca was outstanding.

Great hotel, very accommodating staff, location in a nice and more quiet area away from the major touristy areas
4.8
Excellent in every way including the owner who is wonderful

Fantastic location, well-appointed apartment in a really interesting historic building. Overall very good!
4.8
Pros:1) location is very convenience2) Staff are excellent and very helpful in recommendations of nearby attractions and local restaurants3) spacious is a plus.Cons:1) Its an airbnb, not a hotel, should have said on the website 2) Very noisy with no sound proof window, be aware if your room faces the main street. We requested a room change after the first night.3) very old building with outdated facilities, broken doors, fridge, electricity black out, very uncomfortable beds and sofa bed, air-con not working well and weak wifi. 4) So-called valet parking is ridiculously expensive and garage staff is UNHELPFUL, and it requires one hour notice in advance if you wanna get car. Not to mention that the garage is 2 blocks away from the apartment.

Big & clean room. However is are mosquitoes in the house.

Perfect! Very big and high-ceiling rooms, brand new kitchenette, great location. Would come back if possible.

We loved staying here. Close to everything in Firenze and right across the street from the Accedemia.
The apartment was huge and well designed. We overlooked a beautiful garden.
Our hosts were wonderful. Francesca made sure we were comfortable and ensured that we knew where to go to take care of daily living and touring Firenze.
I have seen the recently renovated apartments, and they are spectacular!
We look forward to returning to Firenze, and will stay here again!

It was a great location but noisy.
We had problems with the TV but we were not able to contact any staff .

I want to go back and stay 2 weeks. It is in the perfect area, close to everything. You feel like you are at home in Florence. Francesca takes care of everything you need, and yet you feel like you are in your own home. We loved it.
