staff was extremely friendly and helpful
4.1
Location is excellent. Close to old town, shopping, food.
4.1
The staff were really helpful. Room was ok but tatty. Lots of paint chipped off walls. Wall paper hanging from the ceiling. Bathroom was nice and clean. No fan or ac which made it very uncomfortable to sleep, as u needed the window open but its a really noisy and busy area. Its a great location. Wouldn't need a lot to tidy the room and add a ceiling fan at least.
4.1
Very nice room for 3 with enough space, good bathroom and a nice surprise of a roof patio to chill out on.
4.1
Really friendly staff and only 7 mins walk from popular rue Vaugueu... But room was tiny for family of 3, uncomfortable soft beds, no charming surroundings as the photos might suggest (in council estate) and no free parking nearby with difficult and busy parking nearby.
4.1
Not great. The room was very cramped with the 3 of us and the first room was full of mould so I asked to move which they did immediately. The staff were lovely which was the only good thing about the hotel.
The parking was atrocious, especially if you arrived in anything bigger than a roller skate/Renault Clio. The hotel is badly maintained and desperately needs a makeover. At times it felt like we were visiting fawlty towers. The lift nearly works but I wouldn’t recommend getting in it with your luggage, just send your luggage, if it fits.
The hotel is perfectly positioned in Caen but whoever owns it doesn’t want to invest in it.
If it were managed properly it could be ideal.
And lastly whoever said in a review don’t worry about the parking, must have cycled.

We had room 103, the noise of furniture being dragged upto 22.00hrs, noise from cars. Paper falling off ceiling. There for a week and the bedding wasn't changed
4.1
The rooms are very small. You can sleep here for one night if you have to.
4.1
A lovely place. The man on the reception there (sorry I didn't catch his name) was so helpful throughout our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom looked new and was very spacious. There was a 2-headed very powerful shower and a huge sink. We enjoyed a drink from the bar when we came bath from our day out. We would definitely stay as it was such goof value and a really pleasant experience.

Hotel staff were great, especially the gentleman operating the restaurant.

One night, room for 3, clean, plenty of room and bathroom was spacious and clean. Nothing I would change!
4.1
Everything was great including the breakfast.
4.1
The hotel was very clean, the room was small but did'nt cause any issues. The bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast which was very well presented and for 13 Euro was not a bad price. The dining area was also very nice and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Hotel was perfect for us during our stay over D-Day. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Don’t be put off by the parking all car parks are free between 19:30-09:30 and it only took a couple of minutes to find a space every time. Will definitely come back again!
4.1
Great hotel with central location.
4.1
Cleanlines of the bathroom. Its perfect!
4.1
Front desk staff were helpful and spoke English well enough. Rooms are sparse and simple, basic, ask for extra pillows as you only get two for a king bed, no parking on site and you have to rely on street parking which is a hassle. Room 302 was not so good, the room had a strange odour of wet dog or sour feet when entering, opening a window didn’t help much. No air conditioning and everything felt damp because of the rainy weather.
Location is great, close to chateau Caen and the old town around the corner with some good eats and nice scenery.
4.1
Good location near the Caen Castle and restaurants. The hotel was clean and new looking. The room was on the small side but very functional. Enjoyed our stay
4.1
Great location. Parking was a bit of an issue.

Wonderful staff very kind and helpful. Thank you!
4.1
Nice hotel with a very good location and easy access to get around on foot. If you arrive by car parking right in front of the hotel in the weekend I think parking is free. I would definitely recommend to stay in city center/centrum and not near train station. The hotel is fine for a short stay nothing fancy but ok clean and the staff are friendly.
4.1
Rooms are small but comfortable.
Excellent staff. Great breakfast.
I’d stay again.
4.1
There was no refrigerator and no cold water to drink.
The staff was all very kind and cheerful.
The breakfast has no vegetable.
4.1
The staff was friendly. We only stayed one night, but it was a good stay.
4.1
Staff was very accomodating and knowledgable about the area. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet, I had a great sleep. Location is close to everything, including some incredible cafes and amazing restaurants. They had no issue with letting us store our bags after checking out, so we could comfortably visit Juno Beach before we left for Paris. I would 100% stay again.
4.1
Very close to the Chateau de Caen, and the shopping district. Staff was friendly and helpful.
4.1
Nice place!
4.1
The toilet is so close to the wall that you can only sit sideways on it. Ridiculous to install a toilet like that.
The hotel rooms overlook the roof of a restaurant with noisy ventilation exhaust of the kitchen, which keeps making loud noise even at night, when the restaurant is closed
4.1
Very pleasant, centrally located, helpful staff.
Fantastic breakfast.
We came on the train from Paris, rented a car, then went to Bayeux for the Tapestry and to the Normandy beaches. Dress warm for those beaches - the wind is strong!
4.1
Great location - walkable to shops and restaurants. Older property but clean. Friendly front desk staff.

Quite some nightlife nearby. Great to go out, a bit noisy if you need rest.
Very close to tram lines and directly under the castle wall. Ideal for any activity in town.
