Shower was basically next to the toilet literally. And our room was very smelly and dirty .
However the beds were comfy & spacious , breakfast was nice & staff were friendly

Noisy and hot. No ventilation. Poor breakfast that appeared to be rationed.

Did not get fresh towels every day and the bedsheets were never changed. Shower, toilet and sink were too close to each other and not wide enough.

This is at the most a 2 star hote.

Our stay at this Ibis was comfortable and quiet, helpful staff.
Easy to find

Okay for a night but I won't bring everyone ( very basic ) bring yourself a kettle and coffee if you want cuppa during the night, and hygiene not the best ' shower room could do with a good scrubbing

Breakfast is not the same as otter ibis hotels, i slept there beginning of July and there was no milk for the cereals, when we asked They said no more fresh milk available, also short off bread.

We'd stayed a while ago when it was a Mister Bed and it was a bit grim. Son stayed this time and says it's all been refurbished and was really lovely.

The rooms are small. However we needed a bed for the night on the way back from La Rochelle and it provided a clean bed and a hot shower for a good price. Don't expect anything but basic and you will be fine.

I arrived off-hours. Auto-Reservation system was not working, but when I called the emergency number, they sent a staff to check me in, which was very nice.

A no frills hotel, which was expected given the price. We were travelling from Calais down to Bordeaux so wanted somewhere to stop on the way down. We arrived late and left early so just wanted somewhere to sleep. This was perfect for that v

Great stop over hotel for us on way to south of France. Used twice now. Arrived after reception closed and easy self service to check in. Definitely recommend. Reasonable price.

When we vacation, we road trip. We rented a car at the airport and did a driving tour of Normandy beaches and then the Loire River Valley. Our stay in Le Mans was just a stop over so we just needed a bed. I didn’t come to France to be an American. I get that everything is smaller here and I knew that coming in July would be hot with no air conditioning. But we had already been to several other hotels with windows that open and another third floor room that provided us with a fan. (Fans do exist in France.) But this is a modern hotel that is very cramped, had a third floor room with a window that only opened 5 inches, and no other form of ventilation. I realize I did not pay a lot for this room, but to purposely design it without your guests comfort is completely lacking in forethought. I didn’t expect much and I didn’t get much. If you are vacationing in the cooler months, then you will probably be fine. But in the heat of the summer, this place failed.

Good basic hotel. Warm, comfortable and helpful staff.

Basic but fine for what we needed. Nice man on reception. Supermarket opposite.

The staff was great but the condition where a bit dissopionting.

A good cheap motel, with a surprisingly decent breakfast, don't expect a quality bathroom or a large room to relax in. For a quick stop over when heading to the south of france it came in at under 20 euros a head with breakfast so suited our needs perfectly :-)

Mister Bed, really is just a bed for the night. Although relatively cheap, and clean, the room was tiny, the bathroom was a prefabricated fibreglass cabin, something akin to a caravan bathroom, if you have ever used 1.
There was hot and cold water, the room was clean. Towels are small but adequate but there are no tea or coffee making facilities in your room and nowhere to put your suitcases.
If we had been aware, we would have paid the extra 40 euros ( based on 4 of us, so only an additional 10 euros each) and stayed down the road, where we would have had air conditioning and all the other little extras not included here. It was around 32 degrees when we stayed and the room was very hot.
Breakfast was very basic, but still OK. There is free WiFi which is OK for checking emails and social networking - don't try to stream video, update apps etc - it's too slow.
All in all, it served a purpose for us, but if you'd prefer a little more comfort, I would definitely consider something a little more expensive, you don't have to pay much more to get a regular hotel in Le Mans. If you are on a very tight budget, then this place will provide everything you need, but if it is hot, there's is no respite from the heat here.

Reception was very helpful and informative.
Not noisy even though the Hotel was full

This hotel is very cheap, and it shows. The rooms, for four, are very cramped, they also accept pets which unfortunately tells on the aroma in the room. The window catch was broken, which meant it could not be left opened safely. The breakfast area is cramped but fair play to the staff, they were happy to replenish the stocks when necessary. The location is excellent, - the tram being right on it's doorstep, making Le Man centre easily accessible. All in all, this is an ok stop off venue for 2 max, but do not expect the Ritz.

I used this place as a cheap overnight stop-over on the way to the South of France. It's easy to find from the Autoroute, has a self-service check-in if you arrive late as I did and a passable breakfast.
My only disappointment was that there was no-where within walking distance to get that cold beer I'd been promising myself -- the bar opposite closed early evening, though this might not be the case during term time for the university that surrounded the building.
If you want somewhere cheap to crash overnight and shower, this is your place. If you want all the trimmings of a nice hotel, look elsewhere.
4.0
No bells and whistles, but if you need a place to crash for the night, this was great. Very tiny room, even the family room. Bunk beds for the kids, queen (US size) bed for the adults. Not much walking space in the room. No toiletries. I would recommend this place. Cheap and clean and surprisingly quiet. Great Carrefour across street.

This hotel is seconds away from the tram, and is very close to the university. Recommend this for anyone looking for a good, affordable place to stay in Le Mans.

This hotel is great value for money. It is easy to find. The staff are helpful and courteous. Breakfast is great. It is very quiet and therefore one can have a really good nights sleep. Would go there again if ever in Le Mans.

we stayed at Mister Bed Le Mans 2 nights staff helpfull and friendly room very small and basic but very clean breakfast good.Easy to find from moterway tram across the road runs every few mins and goes into center of Le Mans very convienient . We have recomended this hotel to friends and would stay there agian .

There is absolutely nothing fancy about Mr Bed. The rooms are small, though clean and very well designed, and the facilities are limited, though breakfast is good.
However, if you want a convenient place to stop for an overnight you couldn't do better. The hotel is easy to find, situated just opposite the tram terminus, so getting into town without a car is simple (but also simple with a car). There's also a supermarket across the road for daily supplies, if you need them.
The Le Mans 24 Hour circuit/museum/shop is an easy drive away.
One tip: if you arrive on a Monday, many of the restaurants in town may be closed but we found a lovely small place in the historic centre, so just nose around a bit.
2.0
A cheap overnight stop hotel on the way from Bordeaux to Calais. Arrived and met by friendly chap on reception who pointed out all features etc.
Room was just big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Double bed and bunk beds provided adequate comfort. Toilet and shower was like a small cubicle but again adequate for purpose.
The hotel has free parking and a big bonus of free Wi-Fi too. Breakfast was a continental affair and reasonabily priced. Quality was good for money spent. No evening meal offered but we availed of a Carreforr (Tesco Metro type) store just across the road. Their is a tram stop which will take you to town centre next to hotel which is ideal.
Only drawback was we thought the room was a bit dusty and decor a little tired but overall a cheap stoppover with some fringe benefits.
2.0
We stayed here for an overnight stop on our way home from the south of France. Location very convenient as it is just off the autoroute. You get what you pay for. The rooms are very basic but clean and cheap. Would stay again for an overnight stop.
