It was a beautiful small hotel with little cabañas. Ours was the on the top floor of a little four plex unit with two suites on the bottom and two on the top. The pools were gorgeous right in the ocean and perfectly clean. The food I. The restaurant was mediocre and high priced but the hotel and the service were outstanding.

Very nice hotel with an Eco-friendly theme, wonderful staff, and nice rooms. Very good quality amenities.

The service was phenomenal, the food was first rate, the room was incredibly clean. My wife got ill and they immediately contacted a physician at our request who arrived shortly to attend to her. I would stay there over and over again and refer to my friends.

Such an amazing place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Since you arrive, everyone makes you feel very welcome. All of the hotel is Mayan inspired. The pool is beautifull in its jungle surroundings. And the attention from everyone that works here is the best

We chose this hotel because of all the good reviews. We were not disappointed. The hotel is small so it is not crowded. The grounds are peaceful and quiet and the staff is really attentive. The food in the restaurant is excellent. We absolutely loved everything about our stay here.

Amazing hotel, very personal service (only 8 suits), fantastic maya style, exotic garden, the owner meet and have perdonal conversations.
Very recomended

Had a nice stay, hotel is clean and the staff is awesome. Food is great, with several international and local options. The hotel itself seems a bit old, with an odd design and the furniture is outdated.

Everything.

This was a magical place like no other. Beautiful, peaceful, in the nature, with the most magnificent pool. The staff went out and beyond to make sure our stay will be unforgettable and the chef prepared us 3 meals a day as it was so good we did not want to eat anywhere else. The room is meticulously cleaned! I highly recommend it and it is located it a perfect distance to see some amazing waterfalls and ruins.

The staff and food service were amazing. I think it was the best food we had in Chiapas.

Beautiful place will return when I am not in working mode!

We have stayed at many many hotels over the years. This truly was excellent. Perfectly clean, perfect service, gorgeous hotel. Very very impressed. I would not stay anywhere else next time I am in Palenque.

The rooms and property are beautiful. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Howler monkeys on the property were an unexpected treat.

The highlight of a tour of Mexico, largely due to the wonderful Hotel Quinta Chanabnal. It is difficult to do justice to it in words, but I thoroughly recommend it. A lovely tranquil setting, characterful rooms, public area and pool, excellent food, a gracious and interesting hands-on host and all at remarkably modest cost. Palenque ruins are fabulous, as much for their tranquillity as their majesty - a world apart from the soulless, queue-bound, tripper-infested experience at Chichen-Itza.

Beautiful hotel, great location and super helpful staff. The food is not particularly authentic, and the menu is quite limited but we loved our stay here.
The location is incredibly peaceful, the pool area is fantastic and the rooms are large and very well presented!

Wonderful! I enjoyed here a lot for everything such as foods, service and all facilities are beautiful. The hotel mans are great and helpful. This hotel owner is an archaeologist. So if you are really interested in ruins especially Palenque ruin here is a perfect place to stay!

On arrival we were welcomed by staff and our luggage was taken to our room. We had an upgrade to Queens Suite. The furniture and décor was unique. For our dinner, we were received by Mr Raphael Junesi Koppold, the Owner and GM which was really a great feeling. We had only two nights stay. The next day was a long day to visit Bonampak and Yaxchilan. Mr Koppold arranged a guide at our request and gave practical advice. On the second night we arrived late. Still, Mr Koppold managed to meet us on our arrival and also cooked lamb as per our prior request.
We are from UK and was driving which was rather crazy with no wifi or navigation in place as there were no signals despite hiring the equipment and car from Tuxtla airport.
We had a great time in the resort and everything was very personal. We had an amazing time. Hope, we had some more time to enjoy the Spa but the next day we had to leave Palenque.
The Staff were very good and the services impressive.

This small boutique hotel is an absolute gem! Entering via the long pathway from the main street, we were met by tranquility and serenity by a young man who quite simply helped us get our suitcases to the room while informing us of the basic layout of the hotel.
The room was perfectly laid out and decorated in a colonial, yet modern style. We had a small terrace with rattan furniture and colorful pillows. Entering the room, with its two queen beds in Mayan/South East Asian colors, we were impressed once again by the jungle quietness aside from the birds and insects chirping outside the open wooden blinds (with mosquito netting). The room had two lazily rotation ceiling fans, and an air conditioner that was necessary to cool down the room before night time in the 39C heat outside in the late afternoon. It was not necessary during the cool night, though!
The large bathroom had a good sized shower, all made in marble and wood. Utilitarian, but charmingly decorated, with all necessary amenities.
The view out the back windows was of the jungle, and our only complaint was the bird that for some reason kept chirping throughout the second night right outside. Not an unpleasant sound at all, but we had hoped it would eventually go to sleep.

This is a nontraditional hotel--only 7 rooms spread over several buildings, no front desk, etc. However, it was charming and beautiful--almost like staying in a private, luxurious estate. Hotel is a bit outside of Palenque town and on road to ruins. We got around by using taxis and "collectivos" which run up and down the main road from ruins to town and pass by hotel entrance. We ate breakfasts and dinners in hotel and these were great (owner is Italian and pastas were especially good). Pool area is lovely as are the rooms and furnishings. Highly recommend.

Well designed hotel, in total armony with the environment. Rafael knows about Mayas and how to recreate that plasurable experience in this boutique hotel. Personalized attention, great swimming pool, spa and dining. Extremley good for a relaxed holiday with very good personalized service.
