I like the entertainment and the attention to detail for the visitors ( name on phone, greeting on tv, and the fruit plate with Expedia written in chocolate) I would stay there again.

Bellmen were excellent. Saul and Manny the best.

Everything and Everyone was wonderful! Most definitely coming back soon!

3rd time staying at the property.
VIP upgrade was great.
The only thing I would like to change is the smoking area. With such a big property you would think they could have a safe place for those who smoke out of the area of other nonsmoking

Lovely stay here. Large, comfortable, quiet room. Loved the adult pool area with gorgeous view of Lands End cliffs. Resort is far enough away from crazy Cabo San Lucas but close enough to walk to marina and restaurants. Staff are super nice. When we had some minor facilities issues, the hotel gave us generous compensation for our troubles. Highly recommended!

Staff was very attentive and courteous (special shout to Carlos at the front desk for a room upgrade!). Property is very clean, the meals at the on site restaurants were excellent!

Grand Solmar is a beautiful hotel. The architecture is traditional and elegant and blends seamlessly into the rocky cliffside. If you can't afford the Waldorf Astoria, this is a great choice. The ocean front infinity pools have amazing views of crashing turquoise surf. We always found lounge chairs available at the pools and didn't have to get up at 6 am to get one. The poolside service was very attentive. We had the studio suite and it was huge, well appointed, and had a great view from the balcony. The crowd was mostly seniors, drinking and having fun but not rowdy. The main fault was the food. It was all mediocre, starting from the nachos and fajitas with low quality meats and little seasoning and up to the upscale sushi that was pretty but tasteless. Don't pay for the all-inclusive as the Grand Solmar is close to town. Such a beautiful hotel deserves better cuisine!
Also, the massages are very overpriced and done very mechanically.

Did not receive my vip reward at checkin. The hotel also is one where i experienced racism, there was clearly a difference in the way the hotel staff treated colored people.

Great place. Perfect

I was disappointed that the view to the beach an pool area was blocked by a 31/2 foot wall across the balcony. The website showed a full view from the balcony. I had to stand to see the view. Also,I had a terrible experience with the timeshare sales people, one of whom was a U.S. expat who became irate when I didn't purchase a time share. He said they had my and my travel companions names, adresses and passport numbers and should we return, we will never be allowed to purchase a time-share. He also repeated several times that we had been give $1,000,00 in incentives by the resort, to attend the presentation, which was not true!

Loved the location and the property overall. Food and beverage needs work. Quality is just average. Staff is extremely helpful and courteous.

Very nice resort overall, and the room I had was above the sunset pool so I had a very nice view. The room was big and very nicely appointed and the service was excellent. The food at the restaurants was good. I think the best thing was the entertainment in the courtyard in the evening. Bed was not super comfy.

Very clean and quiet, hotel restaurants are over priced but otherwise a very nice stay.

Clean room. Friendly staff.
Meals and drinks too expensive

The location is great. Everything else is below par. I spend $ 2800 for an upgrade to a two bedroom penthouse yet they didn’t offer me free breakfast. Besides the food was terrible, selection was also not great. I wouldn’t want to stay again and wouldn’t recommend :(

No VIP benefits at all despite asking multiple times, almost felt like begging. No wine, no upgrade, no discounts, no late checkout, nothing.

There was rude staff and aggressive sales team.

The property was spread out with many stairs. The TV did not work for 5 days. They changed taxes and multiple property fees on every item purchased.
Property did not have a designated smoking area that was safe.

Great looking hotel with amazing views, pools, and gym. But needs work around the edges and details make it just an ok stay.
