Loved, loved, loved this bed and breakfast. We stayed in the private apartment.sepatate bedroom with a sleeper sofa. Well manicured. The breakfast was great. The staff, espexially Diego, were helpful and courteous. We ate at a nearby resraurant and shopped at the nearby mini market.

Such a great place. Great deck to see the cloud forest. Breakfast was amazing! Loved the options. Justin at front desk was super helpful with booking tours and dining options. Enjoyed our stay here.

Great location, delicious breakfast, excellent service. We stayed on the triple room and it was ok, but very close to the Terrace so we could hear voices early in the morning. The view from the Terrace is breathtaking. The personnel gave excellent recommendations. The toiletries are eco the friendly and smell amazing.

The property is close to town with dining options, staff is friendly and very helpful. Downsides is no air conditioning which meant leaving windows open for air movement and the cars are really loud all through the night...will need earplugs.

We liked the location because we could walk to the town center to eat and shop. The staff was exceptional and the breakfast was tasty. We were happy with our rooms. We especially loved going next door to the "soda" (small local restaurant) to eat and to pet their cat Garfield. Also, El Camino offered laundry services for an additional cost, which we were glad to take advantage of.

This hotel has its good side and bad side. The good sides were that the hotel had breakfast and a amazing view of the city. The bad side was that there was no AC in the room and rooms and super small. If you open the balcony door at night, you will hear the street noises and the beds were uncomfortable. I would recommended staying there for one or two night.

Hidden gem. View is great. Walking distance to the town and restaurants. Staff were so nice and helpful. Rooms were good. Very good for the price, tea, coffee and kitchen free to use throughout the day! Would deff stay again.

I woke up at 3 am to drive to National Park Manuel Antonio since my animal-watching tour had been moved to the early morning. After telling the hosts I would check out very early, they prepared fresh-made breakfast and hot coffee for me to go (including toast, tropical fruits, eggs, and cookies). That is 3:30 in the morning! That warm breakfast made me feel heartwarming while driving in the darkness. Definitely recommend this nice place!

We were not satisfied with this place. The bedroom was very small (double bed with just a couple feet on each side of the bed) and so was the bathroom. When we arrived, the window in the bathroom had been left open and dozens of large bugs were crawling / flying around in the room. I had to get rid of them all myself. Also, the bathroom had a sign saying not to flush any toilet paper because it would clog the pipes. We had to put used toilet paper in the small trash can next to the toilet then smell it every time we went into the bathroom. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.

Hidden gem in Monteverde. Has its own parking, beautiful and comfortable accommodations, deck with an amazing view and the most important part, the friendliest people willing to help you with a smile after a long, long day traveling and specially when things do not go as planned. During a bad time, they made the whole difference for me. Thank you!

The staff was nice and the made to order breakfast was really good. Our room was really small and had no direct windows to the outside. This made it very stuffy and warm because there is no ac or climate control in the room, only a fan. The bed was not that comfortable. I did not sleep well. But it was affordable. Would only recommend for a short stay.

Lovely little B&B with a warm and friendly, artsy vibe. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Water heat/pressure was sometimes hit or miss (not a real issue, but just to level set expectations) and there was no A/C (as expedia said there would be)--but it's way up in the mountains and open windows cooled things fine! We loved the staff, the tasty breakfast, the beautiful bottles embedded in the walls spreading color everywhere, and the amazing patio! PLENTY nearby in terms of food, including a Soda right next door with GIANT delicious empanadas!

Great inn near town! Best part of the property is Diego - he had great recommendations and was on top of everything at the property. Breakfast is great with 5 options. All day coffee is handy too! Rooms are nice, but needed to add a fan during a unique hot spell in the area. They can make your arrangements with hotel pick-up, and that worked well each time!

We were only there for one night but the room was clean, the air condition worked well and the shower had plenty of hot water. In all, it was a great place to use as our home base as we did various tours in the area. We would stay there again without hesitation. Walking distance to town, restaurants etc.....and the breakfast was good. We definitely got good value here.

This hotel is situated in the heart of downtown Monteverde which makes it very easy to go to pharmacies, grocery stores, restaurants, tour operators, laundry services, etc. Unfortunately, this also means it can be quite noisy from road noise. The walls are also quite thin and you can hear everything/everyone. Bring earplugs and you should be OK though. The best part of this hotel besides location is the price per night and staff. The staff definitely make the hotel come alive. They are friendly, gracious, and helpful. The breakfast is delicious too.

Fantastic service. I also recommend booking your tours or excursions through the hotel directly- they were super helpful and went really well. Breakfast was cooked to order with fresh fruit each day. I loved the deck and spent a lovely afternoon reading out there. Our room was clean and spacious and very eco friendly. One thing to note is there is no AC, so expect windows open and fans on. The temperature was fine this way. I would stay here again in the area for sure!
