When I got there no one there they had left a message on the door it was a mobile number to ring, so I rang it no answer. I ended usung another number managed to get through they texted me both door codes. In end got sorted wasn't ideal.

Had the price been 1/2 of what it was I would have had lower expectations and not been so disappointed. Virtually none of the photos in the listing have anything to do with this property, including the pub images (which is a completely different business!). It was a run down property, not a cute boutique hotel as it looks in the photos. No one was anywhere nearby when checking in, and we called the number listed. The owner answered right away and texted a code to access our room. Only one outlet in the small room that was located in an awkward place.

Hotel said they didn’t have a booking for us and can’t seem to get any contact with hotels.com other recent reviews suggest the hotel is awful if you do manage to get into your room stay clear

I have never been to such a dirty hotel .the hall carpet was thread bare .as for my room it was disgusting holes in the curtains dirty windows. The bathroom shower was filthy the shower screen was filthy the whole hotel was filthy. I do not reckonend any one stays there unless your bloody desperate. It was like a squat .there was no one on reception to help us just 2 lads getting high .please dont go there

Not happy at all

Very dirty, not like pictures at all.

This room was terrible, nothing like the picture !!!! Full of flies , room was really poor , for the money we paid absolute shocker . No toilet paper , thank god it was just for 1 night . Would definitely NOT book this again . Shame i cant upload the pictures i took .

When we arrived there was no one to check us in, luckily there was a phone number and the man who answered it gave us the codes to get in. We walked into our room and couldn’t believe how dirty and unlooked after it looked. We took numerous pictures of the facilities. It was like a very run down student accommodation if I’m honest. I will never be booking this again. Nothing like what was advertised and for what I paid. The pictures on your website made it look lovely.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Bathrooms are less than cupboards size, very difficult to take baths. Rooms are not clean and you won’t see anything in the rooms except for beds. No bins, no drinks. I paid in advance for 2 nights. If not I’d have left in within few minutes of entering the place. Not worthy at all

Rubbish

I enjoyed my stay here, the hotel is located a bit outside from King’s Cross / Camden Town with good bus connections and about a 15 min walk to Caledonian Road (Piccadilly line) . I can agree on after reading other reviews that they might need to renew some things eventually, but the condition of the room was fine.
It had everything you needed, we had the bigger room with our own bathroom and was pretty spacious. Comfortable beds, friendly staff so nothing to complain about.
No front desk but when arriving you get easy information on your check-in. Thanks!

Best price by far very basic but you get what you pay for, no frills comfy bed

Run down, shabby. No hangers, no wastebin. Paint on carpet.

The quality of the room did not reflect the price of £99 per night. Tired dirty carpets did not help. The bed had crisp clean sheets and was comfortable. Some investment is needed to get the rooms and reception to a reasonable standard.

To be fair, it's in a terrible state the building and rooms ..it could be clean but can't clean old. It's very good position wise for me personally but pub down stairs was not open when I was about. Cheap is great.... but this place does not represent value its cheap but not as cheap as it should be ..this place is far from great. Don't go unless absolutely necessary don't intend to be in there much, got your vaccinationns and pretty easy going.

Had a really nice stay, easy check in and well located. Will return

Very disappointing. There is no one at reception. you have to call a number via Whatsapp otherwise it doesn't work (but we didn’t know that until we asked the restaurant near). When we arrived in the room, the dirt discouraged us and we left immediately. From the window that didn't close to the suspicious stains on the curtains, we preferred to look for another hotel.

Had to ring a number to get code for outside door and then you get another code for a key for door ..room was basic just a bed chair and mirror shared bathroom ...ok for one night better than a hostel for example

Only issue I had was the noise from the main road as there's no double glazing. Apart from that it was fine. Really comfortable beds.

Staff were efficient helpful and friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Area was local to King’s Cross and Camden Town.
Would recommend

The place was really untidy, but most of all it smelled very bad of cigarettes. The first night we didn't sleep at all due to the stench. Windows are very old and can't be fully opened. Carpet should be changed. Walls are stained. Pillows are old. It doesn't look like the pictures. We got no help from anyone, so we left the place, after two nights and booked another one, loosing our money. Our luggages still stinks after two nights out of that place.

I know you get what you pay for, especially in London but we were immediately disappointed by the dirt in the room (shelves, shower) and the dingy beaten up furniture.
Room is very close to the main road so you can hear everything. People talking, cars, cycles, police cars.
Writing this at 3.25 in the morning after not sleeping a wink.
Would have been better to drive back home in the evening than spend the night here.
Check in was by call/text and I haven't seen any staff around.
Positives: the towels and bedding are clean. The provided some basic shower gels.
Negatives: the kettle and glasses missing in the room(there were some on the floor in the hallway in a traffic area). No soap in the bathroom.
Closest tube station is 13min walking away through an industrial estate. There is also a Sainsburys there.
Walkable from Camden market (20-min).
No onsite parking from what I've seen.

Misleading photos that don't match reality in the slightest. Very disapointing. Toilet, broken. Side lamp, broken. Shower screen, broken. On the other hand, the bed was at least comfortable.

Well located and easy to find . Will visit this affordable hotel soon

No staff there, just a text service. No quilt on the bed, no TV remote and the place was filthy.
Had to climb over rolls of lino or carpet just to get in.
Sent on a hunt into different rooms to find bedding. Accosted by what I can only assume was a ts escort and asked if I wanted company or some weed.
Carpet was filthy, shower broken and to top it off there was glass on the floor which cut my foot.

I can not review the room or my stay as the hotel gave away my room.
I tried to call four times to find out what time check in closes but could not get through. I messaged the property and got no response.
When I turned up that evening I was told my room had been given away and I had no where to stay. The person I spoke to said his colleague tried to contact me but couldn't say how. I had no missed calls, texts or e mails.
I was left to find another place to stay, on my own in London on a Saturday night.

First of all, they have a fake advertisement the pictures of the building completely different old, and the rooms pictures are also so different than what we got, there was nobody at the front desk only signs to let you know where to go. To get to the second floor the stairs are very uphill very dirty and old carpet, the room is the same thing. The carpet is very old and smells like food and spices even the towels and my dress that I hung on the tiny open closet ended up smelling like spices, there was no air conditioning so it was extremely HOT we opened the window and there was no air coming through, there was a very dusty fan that if I wanted to put it to work on the faster setting to be able to feel some air it would make a loud noise so we didn’t feel any relief from the heat at all!! At night I took a cold shower to be able to lay in that room it felt like I was in a sauna I couldn’t sleep, I was waking up with my shirt soaked in sweat. IT WAS THE WORST NIGHT EVER I woke up at 2 am just wishing the night was over.

No kettle .. two little pots milk in fridge which was turned off . Yet there was tea and coffee . We could make a drink
1.6
Very basic, but it did the trick. The shower had 3 separate heads and took 15 minutes to work out how it worked. Nice touch with the free shower gels portions. Bathroom really clean which is important.
Bed was comfortable which is always important. Plenty of pillows too.
Really dated, cracks in the walls, old carpet. Water stains on ceiling from previous leaks.
Strange noise like drilling on and off all night too. Fortunately I had ear plugs to drown it out.
Text to provide door entrance code and code for keybox to my room was ideal for me. I don't need to speak to someone to check in. Not everyone would feel the same. I passed the reception desk quite a few times and it was never manned.
Entrance to hotel isn't obvious, it's around the corner from the pub entrance.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The front lobby is dirty and under “construction” by which I mean plywood nailed to the wall and a very sketchy door that may or may not lock. The room was disgusting with mould visible on the walls. The bathroom was dirty and the bed was uncomfortable. This is not a hotel, this is a hostel or rooming house at best.
1.6
Worst hotel in London. Didn’t need the code for the front door because the lock was busted so we walked straight in. There was only 1 toilet shared by at least 17 rooms, and it was dirty. No staff, the reception area was just full of boxes and mess. Everything looked dirty
1.6
I didn't end up staying in the end, they charged me again when I got there, the room was dirty, the plumbing didn't work properly and there was no way I was going to sleep there. The refund they promised when I left hasn't happened, and Hotels.com are being difficult to get hold of to make a complaint.

I arrived at this place and it was closed. I am still waiting for a refund!

Get what you pay for, decent room close to the train station and Camden

The staff was really friendly, and the location was good. 10 minute walk to Camden, and 10 minute walk to Kings Cross station. Generellt not the cleanest place, but the bed and bedsheets and towels were clean and fresh. Really cheap. I would recomend it, and will definetly stay there again.

Nice location and simple place to stay for the night

Exactly what we paid for, room was small but clean and kept well, bed was comfy, staff were lovely and friendly, would be happy to go there again :)
