It was in close proximity to where we needed to be
The main issue was the big window in the room had no handles and would not close so was open all the time, on arrival the curtains were closed clearly in an attempt to hide this. It was secured by one locked wire at the bottom. The key card lock was inoperable so we had to get the reception staff to let us in with the master key each time we wanted to enter the room. The sink in the bathroom was blocked and held water each time we washed our faces or hands. The staff room was next to our room and each time they opened the door our room door rattled in the frame due to it being in an air lock. Reception staff were dismissive to the issue of the window saying that it was secure with the wire. Carpets on the stairs filthy.

Close to the tube line and in a decent area. Good size rooms with tea, coffee and milk provided. Great shower, hot and powerful with shampoo and conditioner provided. Fridge and microwave in room. Everything was nice and clean
No king-sized bed, just a double

Good location and friendly staff - very basic but with all necessities.
We stayed in the garden suite and it was rather cramped for four people (2 double beds), with the 'kitchen' (just a sink and fridge) behind the front door. We stayed on a rather hot day and although there is aircon fitted in the accommodation, we were informed we couldn't use it/turn it on as it wasn't included in the booking... Quite disappointing considering we didn't pay a cheap price.

Close proximity to restaurants/cafes, grocery stores and train stations. Room was spacious, good kitchen facilities and ensuite. Clean. Nice staff. Lovely old building.

Nice quiet location, clean
Basic room, garish lights, heater was hanging off the wall, tiny room

The location was good
Most things were broken or falling apart. Staff were not friendly, the night staff member was even a bit creepy.
Would never stay again. The pictures on booking.com give a false image of the hotel interior.

Quiet and comfy beds to get a great night sleep
No air con and very hot up in the mezzanine bedroom

The location was central for public transportation and food. The staff was nice, helpful, and insightful.
Room wasn't ready until next day due to fumigation of ants and the chemicals not being good for children. They put us in a single room with a cot as that's all that was available when we arrived. Room(s) were not like advertised. While it looked good on the outside of the hotel, the inside looked rought between the card reader barely attached, to the doors barely being able to open and close, to the floor that was ripped up and looked bad. The wifi worked well in the first room (spotty connections but stable) and worked about 5% in the second room, when it would connect. The rooms were cleaned daily due to not having a sign about cleaning or privacy so we had to lock up and clean our rooms to feel like our valuables and items were safe.

checkin
At the entrance there are prominent signs warning against drug use, and a large ashtray attached to the wall, the reception area stinks of cigarette smoke. The promised air condtioning didn't work, it has been resttricted to fan only, probably to save on energy bills. reception said they haven't provided ac for 18 months, but on one night in room 109 we did have ac, they are still advertising the rooms as having ac, which they swore wasn't the case and wanted me to show them screenshots I had taken of their room description. I showed them the screenshots. A promised extra room fan didn't eventuate until I pestered them, having to keep the windows open to survive thew heatwave meant no sleep at all as the hotel is near a busy road. An awful stay.

location and building were good
air con was broken, i asked for a fan as was told they were available, the poor night porter had to build me one fresh from the box, it took over an hour, which meant i didnt get into bed until gone1am, which wasnt my plan. The walls in our room were very dirty, covered in scuff marks and stains, the shower tray also overflowed as didnt drain properly and had to stop my shower half was through so that i didnt flood the bathroom.

Parking and comfortable bed
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From the misleading information provided by the receptionist to the numerous issues with the room, my stay fell short of expectations.
from the overall aesthetics.
Clean and well-maintained windows are essential for guests to enjoy their surroundings and contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. The fact that this basic aspect was overlooked was disappointing.
Additionally, I encountered problems with the bathroom drainage system, specifically with the shower in room 110. The water drained slowly, causing a buildup that resulted in an unpleasant and unsanitary experience.
Proper maintenance of the bathroom fixtures is crucial for a comfortable stay, and it was disheartening to encounter such issues during my visit.
Overall, my stay at Hotel was marred by several disappointments.
The misleading information regarding the deposit refund, the damp and uncomfortable room, the dirty windows, and the faulty bathroom drainage system all contributed to a subpar experience. I hope that the hotel takes these concerns seriously and works towards rectifying these issues to ensure a more satisfactory stay for future guests.

the location
booked a delux studio with a sofa bed as three of us, on arriving at the hotel was given a double room. this was really disappointing as previous stays at the hotel have been great. the room was dark and in need of TLC. after much discussion we ended up with a camp bed in the kitchen area. extremely noisy from 6am due to children running about in the floor above….the stay was akin to staying in the cupboard under the stairs and not what I expect from this property. the positive is the reaction of booking.com who have been swift in their action

Downstairs bed needs a new mattress, not very comfortable.

Easy booking and payment. Friendly staff. Good location.
Windows that weren't able to be fully closed. Big question mark over cleanliness of room 202, particularly the bedding.

Spacious room, clean and tidy.
Really liked staying here great location too.
There wasnt really anywhere to 'sit' as a group as there was a double bed downstairs. There was plenty of space upstairs to fit a double and 2 twins and that way the space downstairs could be used as a lounge area with sofa etc

It was really good and the staff was helpful
Should get you tube or some sort of entertainment
2.0 / 10.0
The bed was comfortable and it's an easy access to get the tube.
Oh wow not sure where to start.
They falsely advertise a lot about their rooms. The A/C doesn't work and it is not possible to securely close the windows in the room (the door handles are broken).
So in the middle of autumn we had to use our bags etc. to keep the windows closed so as to not freeze, while the A/C didn't work to heat the room. They offered an old little heater - which will Not heat a two-floor family sized 'delux' room, I'll tell you that much.
Reception would refuse to give us a keycard - only upon requesting it 3x and being quite pushy was I able to get one. Until then I was told they would just keep opening the door to my room when I need it, which made me feel unsafe and silly.
The walls were dirty everywhere.
There was a dirty toothbrush left in the room after they cleaned it.
There was no hot water - I was told to wait about an hour (I don't stay in a hotel to be told to wait for an hour), I have places to be and there were 3 people waiting to shower.
They advertised my 'deluxe' room with 2 TVs and a work area. We had only an old chair to sit on downstairs, no advertised 'work area' and no TV upstairs. It was all sad and cold and ugly.
There was no curtain, no way to close out the strong street lights. There was some sort of a blind which was broken.
Lamp shades broken.
Okay kitchen facilities - but nothing to drain the washed up cutlery etc. on, no kitchen towel.
The whole place stank.
Very unsafe as well in the middle of London. Even though there was someone sitting at Reception most times, often they had to go away to deal with the many many issues in the hotel - so the front door of the hotel would just be pushed open by anyone, and the cleaners would leave people's doors wide open with the guests' bags etc. left in the room.
To top it all off, often we had to listen to the staff members shouting and arguing with the guests who were - rightly so - complaining.

bathroom very good only
I choose this hotel with cooking facilities. there was only a microwave, not even a litter for the rubbish, only on the third of four days the accumulated rubbish was taken from the sink! even after the first night asked the receptionist! there is no table to eat! door of shelf unit was dirty as inside the fridge)I told the receptionist and nothing happened. he promessed me another chair and table and only on the third morning, when I really showed my dês appointment to a receptionist, they cleaned the sink and put a chair. so, to eat, we need to take and join the two bed tables to kind of be able to eat! it is advertised that has a hub to cook and there is nothing of that. not even a cloth to dry plates or anything. we need to leave everything in there with smells from dinner. The room window, has a curtain smaller than its area. light coming in and can see people passing by! The wardrobe has angers from dry cleaners, Marks & Spencer, etc SHAMEFUL AND VERY DISAPPOINTING
