The staff is SUPER friendly! NIce breakfast included and if needed it will be delivered to your room. They will even make a lunch box when leaving early for a tour. Although the hotel is up on the hill about 10 mins walk down to the main square, Plaza de Armas, I opted to take a UBER back up. The room was clean, bed comfortable.

The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, there was shampoo and soap in the bathrooms. Always safe, as the front door was kept locked and you were buzzed in. I can’t say enough good things about the staff - super helpful, delivered breakfast to your room each morning, gave maps with advice on where to go in the area and arranged taxis. Would definitely stay again!

The staff was just above and beyond with us!! When we arrive they took the time to explained and suggested great near by restaurants with a map. Hotel room was spotless clean, and lets not forget about the breakfast, WOW, really good! Also, if you have a tour and it picked you up really early, the staff always prepared a lunch box for your tour, just let them know. We’re are definitely returning to Cusco and will be staying at El Hotel Mariscal.

Great stay even for US standards. A little off the beaten path, but clean, safe, and accommodating hotel with very hospitable staff. Packed us a boxed lunch since our tour to Machu Picchu left early in the morning. Would definitely stay here again without even thinking about staying somewhere else, if I ever get the chance to go back to Cuzco.

A wonderful hotel. Very accomodating. Staff was excellent. Wifi only worked in lobby but that could have been because of the storm.

We loved it. Spotless place, helpful and friendly staff. They kept our luggage during our trekking trip with no cost at all. We totally recommend it.

Good property overall, location is a little out of the way and do not get room 105, its connected to the lobby and makes for a loud noisy night and early morning.

The staff is very friendly and the rooms are cleaned nicely daily. Our toilet leaked a little and the water smelled but we kept the door to the bathroom closed and it was no problem. They also cleaned daily so the smell was not an issue. We loved staying here.

The staff was friendly and helpful with local information. They even provided a to go breakfast at five in the morning for us as we departed early for a tour. The regular breakfast was well made and we certainly enjoyed it. There is a lot of echo in the center part of the hotel and it can be a little loud, but not terrible.

I made the booking in AUS dollars but was charged in USD on arrival, the local area isn’t great but close to airport, free taxi to airport but these are unlicensed taxis and will not drop you at the airport but on the main road outside the airport to avoid the airport charge. The room and breakfast is basic but the staff are very friendly, an average hotel

I was so happy to check in to this hotel. We stayed at some pretty crappy places in Peru and this place was a breath of fresh air. Everything was clean, well appointed, and cozy. The lobby area is nice and sunny, the front desk person and other staff were very kind. The location is up the hill and away from the street noise of the busier parts of Cusco. We had an internal window, like most places we stayed. This makes for a very noisy experience as guests talk and move about the hotel. This noise was the case in each place we stayed. The breakfast is included in the price, but the people running the breakfast area seem disorganized and flighty. It took three requests and almost 30 minutes to get coffee. There were rarely dishes or silverware available, and they often ran out of bread, fruit, or yogurt. But for the price (free), it was worth it. If I am ever back in Cusco, I would definitely stay here.

Very positive and helpful staff, easy and pleasant walk into the town centre and great local market nearby.

The hotel is in good condition with a very hospitable staff. They really need to improve on the insulation of the hotel, the room was very cold. The hot water was inconsistent. I'm glad they provided a portable heater in the room.

Hotel itself was a great location, excellent staff and good breakfast. Room was great as well. Only problem was that there were dogs barking at all hours of the night. Mostly from outside but the walls are thin. They also had to dogs in the hotel which were adding to the problem. Luckily we used a noise machine app and slept fairly well.. if it wasn't for noise it would have been five stars for sure.

We had an excellent stay! Very accommodating staff. Kept our bags while we left town for the night and had them waiting in our next room for us. Also brought breakfast to our room at 5am when we were leaving early for the airport. A 10-15 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas, stores and restaurants. Set up taxis, etc. for us. All around great choice!

No windows. Stale bread for breakfast that was clearly reused when the previous person didn't eat it. The manager tried giving me a $20 dollar bill that was made in 1981 - obviously counterfeit. Shower drain clogged. No sign for the hotel on the outside (since it is a house), so it's very difficult to find. Long trek away from the Plaza Mayor. Find somewhere else to stay.

Hostel in a quiet street. Staff eager to please. We were checking out at 7:00 AM, so they made arrangments so that breakfast would be brough to our room at 6:00 AM (breakfast was included, but started either at 7:00 or 7:30). That was a "nice touch". Thank you Elizabeth.

The staff is really friendly and super helpful. They really try to make your stay easy and answer all of your questions. Plenty of room for a family of four and beds that are comfortable.
2.5 / 5.0
This small hotel is such a good deal that there is no sign on the outside. The staff was extremely friendly. Although many speak no English, communication was never a problem. It is in a middle-class neighborhood about a 15 minute walk from downtown attractions (the plaza, museums, restaurants and shopping). The Cusqeño traffic can be intimidating in the colonial sections of town. The streets are still cobblestone in places and very narrow; pedestrians and cars do an intricate dance. Automobile traffic is frequently backed up and they like to honk. Many of the downtown streets are very steep; some simply a long run of stairs. The hotel has no guest parking and I would never want to try to drive in Cusco.

It is located in San Blas neighborhood. Going up in the hill. Not fancy but very comfortable. The staff was always very nice and friendly. Trying that our staying results the best.
Breakfast could be improved. And Internet bandwidth as well.
The rest of the service was very good.
