Amazing boutique hotel in the best location.
Large and very well equipped rooms. Bed and shower are excellent. Our group were in 4 rooms and everyone was happy. The staff are professional and efficient. Andre’, the concierge ,was very helpful with all our needs: reservations, transportation, tours,…top notch!!
Our favorite restaurant was Fervor which is near the hotel.
The a/c works well and is quiet!!

We based ourselves at Hub Porteno during our two week trip to Argentina and Uruguay and it was a great choice. The staff at the hotel were brilliant - they couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. They gave us tips on what to see in BA - eg. what tango show to go to (there are a lot) - arranged for us to leave things at the hotel whilst we travelled elsewhere in Argentina and Uruguay. Great service. The hotel is really well situated in Recoleta, down a quiet street next to the Vatican Embassy. Always felt very safe and we had no problems at all. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, although not cheap - the wines were the best we had during our entire trip. Breakfast is great (eggs benedict particularly good). Our room was by far the best we had of any of the hotels we stayed in in Argentina and Uruguay - huge very comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom and shower (including a two-person jacuzzi bath), loads of storage space, fridge etc. Great roof terrace for relaxing in the afternoon / evening. We liked the cakes and sandwiches provided at 5:30pm in the guest public rooms as an afternoon snack.
I couldn't fault the hotel or the staff. If we come back to BA we will definitely stay here again - strongly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Hub Porteno. This is all you could ask for in a boutique hotel. An old building which has been thoroughly rendered into an elegant and luxurious accommodation of just 11 rooms. What really stands out though are the thoughtful concierge services which are always at the ready to insure you have a great experience. The manager told us they have four concierges — the same number as the 120 bed nearby Park Hyatt. We had an evening flight home so we checked out late morning, toured around a bit then returned to the room late afternoon, showered and changed on the fourth floor lounge and workout area. Yes, this is how you do it. Finally, because there had been a brief afternoon aguacerra, taxis were difficult to find to get to the airport. We walked to the corner where one of the concierges went into traffic at the stoplight to get us one. Get the idea? I have a few notches on my belt from Four Seasons etc. around the world and I can only tell you that this was probably my best hotel experience ever. Muchas Gracias
por su ayuda!

We had a wonderful stay at Hub Porteno. The room/bathroom was huge and very elegant. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with booking tours and/or reservations. It was also very convenient to have breakfast downstairs every morning. Lastly, the hotel was in a great, safe neighborhood and walking distance from awesome restaurants and attractions. The only advice I'd give to tourists is to make sure you do your research when booking day excursions/tango shows etc. Sometimes the ones that are offered are very expensive and there are other options that are just as good for a much lower price.

Hub Porteno is a fantastic hotel in the Recoleta neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. The rooms are big and beautiful and the location is excellent. Two exceptional factors in this hotel are the quality of service from its staff and the amazing restaurant on its ground floor. The breakfasts are top notch and I would highly recommend making a dinner reservation there.

Great stay at Hub Porteño, really enjoyed personalised service and great propriety. Wished Id stayed there for longer. Shower was a bit temperamental but overall exceptional. Love the roof top bar even if I didnt make use of it, great gym (considering there are 11 rooms) and amazing hosts from the front office team. Will definitely go back.

We had a marvelous time!!! Highly recommend!! Best option for us while vacationing in Buenos Aires! The hotel is great, the location excellent but the best part is the sevice!!!! While at the hotel, we left behind by mistake our mobile charger, and Sara Gaulis went personally to the hotel were are daughters were staying, a week later in BA, to make sure we got our charger back. Thank you so much Sara Gaulis!! Also we would like to thank Amparo, Marina, Hernan and Andre for helping us have a wonderful time in the city! With no doubt I can say that the service, the location and amenities in this boutique hotel made the difference in the enjoyment of our stay in Buenos Aires!!

Upon arrival at this boutique hotel that was once a grand home, we were greeted warmly and allowed to check in early. The room was incredibly spacious and nice. The attentive staff, free water, espresso, snacks, made-to-order breakfast and awesome turn-down service made the higher cost more palatable. I would have given hub porteno a 5 but they had an issue with their sewer system during our stay that made the hallway and entryway smell of sewer that wafted into our room through the ventilation system. Fortunately, we had French doors that we opened to air it out. Also, the king bed was very hard and had dips that I kept rolling into all night. We asked to change rooms and they were unable to move us because they were at full capacity. I would give them another chance IF they got new mattresses. Their sheets were quite luscious and of high quality. I can forgive the stink but not the cheap mattresses.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Recoleta. Add good food and incredibly friendly staff and you have yourselves an absolute gem of a hotel. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Hub porteno is an excellent hotel, nice large rooms with sophisticated decor, excellent service, good breakfast, located in a lovely neighborhood. I would never stay anywhere else in Buenos Aires.

This very small (11 rooms) hotel really felt like staying with a friend who owns a mansion in Recoleta. The breakfast was excellent, the attentiveness of the staff was top-notch, and the hotel/rooms were all beautifully appointed. The location was ideal: easy to walk around in Recoleta, and easy to get to any other part of the city by taxi. This is the place to stay if you want a luxurious hotel without having to deal with the crowds in the big hotels.
2.5
I was extremely surprised and pleased. Everyone, from the doorman to the managers were accommodating. I never heard can't or not possible; they were very helpful and friendly. The Hotel and its' location was spot on.
2.5
The hotel is amazing, it is located in a very nice neighborhood (Recoleta), walking distance from a lot of recommended restaurants and just 20 minutes from the airport.
The exterior is quite eccentric, you can't see any sign or description of the hotel and the taxi drivers don't have any idea about the name, so, bear with the complete address ... Once you are inside the hotel you can realize how nice, luxurious and well maintained it is.
The staff is very courteous and friendly, complete opposite from other 5 stars or luxurious hotels I have stayed around the world, where most of the staff are just oriented to answer what you ask and straight on their job. In the Hub Porteno they are always smiling and asking how was your day, how did you like it ...
The room is astonishing !!! It is huge and with lots of details and lights, the bathroom is something else ... you want to take shower every hour, it has a separate box for the restroom, for the shower and for the bath ! It is very impressive ! And a +++ , they clean it twice a day. You will have a clean and tidy room after you leave in the morning and when you come back from your dinner.
Just the last thing to say, the hotel completely worth the price and it is the kind of hotel that you want to come back for a re-visit !

At this stage, we like hotels that contribute to our vacations beyond providing mere shelter. We stayed in two hotels in Buenos Aires within a week. HB and the Four Seasons. Both were superb in their own ways. I would have been happy to spend the week in HB and had some remorse upon moving to the FS (overcome after a day or two). The hotel is well located, tastefully designed, well-staffed and feels secure. Everything works. It is not some designer's vanity project. The wi-fi works. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and professional, providing good recommendations for restaurants, travel arrangements and currency exchange. The restaurant is outstanding. HB has a pleasant deck, which gives some outdoor access and a peek at the city skyline. This feature on the website drew me to the hotel. The gym looked good (did not use). The hotel appears to have few rooms. It feels more like staying in a friends mansion/townhome. If they didn't have such good taste, you'd hate them! There is a very nice meeting area that serves as a lobby. We were offered and accepted some refreshments there while the registration details very attended to; a nice welcoming touch after a long trip.

From the moment of my arrival till the very last moment of my departure, my stay was memorable. Hub Porteno was intimate and their attention to delight was outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a handwritten welcome letter extending their very best on my business trip. The comfortablity, the extravagance of my bathroom, and the cool sheets after a HOT summer afternoon walking around Recoleta was amazing. They had two beautiful sitting areas that reminded me of a modern poet's home. There were fresh flowers, elegant modern furniture, and books filled with art and collections from Paulo Coelho to Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Needless to say, I enjoy great detail with subtly. A peaceful and elegant place to have an afternoon beverage. Everyone at the hotel was great at recommending places and were always enthusiastic to help. When I lack certain words in castellano, everyone understood and communication was never a problem. Hub Porteno was simply a five star experience and I cant wait to return.
