The gentleman at the front desk was not very warm or welcoming, he made us feel a bit uncomfortable. The place isn't exactly as shown in photos. The rooms are outdated and weathered. Very dark getting inside from the parking garage. The restaurant staff at dinner was overbearing watching us and we felt rushed and unwelcome. Food was subpar at restaurant. Over priced coffee from the bar, considering I paid half the price in more touristy areas. I would not recommend this place.

Nice room, clean, quiet.
Big and well maintened swimming pool.
And very good restaurant.
At 10 minutes by foot from train & buses stations (convenient bus from Caserta to Molo Beverello), and from the castel.

Amazing place, hidden away near palace and railway station. Very convenient for Naples and Pompeii without the city hassle.

Lovely quiet hotel down a side street, just over 10 minutes walk from the train station.
Friendly staff, large comfortable room, nice pool, on-site bar too

Great hotel and restaurant at a reasonable price. Walking distance from the Royal Palace. Excellent staff. Worth mentioning they make an outstanding pizza.

My friend and I and her two year old daughter booked this hotel for mid June because it had a nice looking pool and it looked like a relaxing place to stay to relax. But we found out (on the second day at the hotel through another guest, not even at check in) that the pool doesn’t open until July and that we were not allowed to use it. In addition it was 30 degrees Celsius and none of the air conditioners in the entire hotel were working. I looked back at the reviews and saw that a year ago the same issue was happening, so it looks to me like the excuse of them transitioning to a new aircon system was a lie. We were told we would receive fans for our room which were not given to us until the last night of our stay. As you can imagine this was not at all a relaxing trip, and I truly regret booking this hotel. One plus I will say is that the waitress we had at dinner was absolutely fantastic.

Hotel was an oasis within a quirky pert of the city. Directions to it were hard to find, but hotel stay was very good for the price.

The rooms are outdated and air conditioning seems to not exist. Hotel pool and grounds are pretty. Hotel is hard to find. Breakfast is fine . Beds are terrible as well as the front end service. Look for other places in Caserta or just pass on Caserta as a whole.

Friendly staff. Nicely decorated. Walkable area. Clean and quaint.

Very hot. They turn the air off when out of the room. Beds are horrible. Traffic horrible . Paid for the night but left without sleeping there. It was so bad

quiet environment parking under the facilities. Pool could not be used because of a private party in the pool area

Beautiful property, courteous staff, good restuarant
4.0 / 10.0
The place was conveniently located, near the center's buzz, but far enough to be quiet and calm.
The room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was basic, scrambled eggs, ham, cheese and pastries. Coffee was great.
The pool was only available for limited use due to a private party, but still nice.
Felt safe for a solo traveler and convenient for a quick trip.

This is a great hotel in terms of rooms and food quality in the on site restaurant. The only issue was the comfort level of the fold out bed which could have been better. The hotel is gated in the middle of a mixed residential/commercial area. The surrounding local area on approach is run down but the hotel itself is very good.

The hotel itself was gorgeous, a tucked away gem in Caserta. We used it as a hub since it was located close to many of the surrounding areas we intended to go and visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful but we didn’t receive any perk for VIP access. The room was large and comfortable but heads-up to any person above 5 10 the shower is quite small not sure if all the rooms are like that or if it was just ours. The restaurant was very delicious we ate there a couple of nights since there was only a few close places to go walk to at night. The breakfast served was plentiful and lots to pick from and we didn’t get to enjoy the pool since it opens in July but the grounds were nice and parking garage is located under the grounds which is great.

Inside property everything extremely nice and clean but one step outside gate it’s dirty and don’t feel safe place to be.

Fabulous place. Neighbourhood is adequate but in no way reflects on the VMC, which is a haven and a marvelous refuge in Caserta. Room lovely with every possible need anticipated. Pool and grounds just gorgeous and immaculate.

Such friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was great. Hotel was exceptionally clean. In easy walking distance from the royal palace and old town.
Hotel was a little hard to find but we worked it out with help if GPS.
I highly recommend Villa Cristina!

We wanted to visit the wonderful Bomarzo (Monster) Garden and the Palazzo Farnese so we chose a good small hotel near Viterbo. The hotel was lovely and our room was also very nice. (But beware the inside of the handles on the small shower.) There was a small table and chairs outside our room and seating around a nice pool. Breakfast was good too. They are opening a restaurant there shortly. The manager was superb! We had 2 flight delays and drove in the dark (including over a short dirt road) at 10 pm, exhausted. We asked Christiano if there was a restaurant nearby that was still open as we hadn't had dinner. He called in our orders for pizza, then drove to pick them up for us as we settled in our very pleasant rooms!!! He set up a table for us to eat together. The next day he drove into the town so we could follow him to where parking was for the restaurant we chose! He also called our next hotel to verify our reservation, as 1 hotel had cancelled on us. He was very eager to help in all ways, and always so friendly. Would I stay there again? Absolutely! Highest recommendation!

The place is really beautiful. Located in a back street, it is a quiet oasis.
The rooms are OK, but the garden and pool is amazing.
It would have been a top score if the staff and administration had been on the same level. That is unfortunately not so. At our depature day we asked if we could use the pool and garden for a few hours as we did not have plans before later that day. I consider this as more of a formality than a question, as it has never been an issue in 100+ hotels i have stayed at.
At first they said it would cost an additional 10 euro. I was a bit in shock over this, could they really be this cheap? I spoke with my girlfriend and we decided to do it, as we had no other place to go. When i got back to the hotel, i said we would pay for it. Suddenly the price had increased to 15 eur per person, and we left.
Great place, but cheap and greedy staff and administration.

Very comfortable and well kept small boutique hotel. The rooms are very comfortable with kitchenette and large washroom. Staff is very friendly and parking on site makes it convenient. Walk to many restaurants . You need to check out TRE FARINE RESTAURANT! It was worth the 1 hour wait!

A wonderful Oasis hidden away in a quiet part of Caserta. Great location for a short walk to the Caserta town centre and shops, bars, cafes and restaurants plus the Reggia Di Caserta a 10 minute walk. Beautiful hotel. Staff excellent especially Franco who can take care of anything you need. Exceptional filtered pool and gardens. Highly recommended.

The room was light, airy and clean. The reception, bar and restaurant were very good but the pool was the highlight. There were plenty of chairs and sun loungers and it made our stay that bit more enjoyable.

Great stsff! Great location! Would go back! Quiet place other than you can hear other plumbing from other rooms through the walls in my room but overall very good!

Hotel is amazing. New hotel. Beautiful gardens and restaurant. The dinner in the hotel restaurant is incredible!
What no one tells you is that the town is very run down and not pleasant. Think that’s why the hotel is behind a closed gate! Kinda strange. But most people just come to visit the palace.

Very nice hotel. Secluded and serene. Great pool

The drive into the hotel is a bit strange, you do wonder where you are going as you are in a residential area full of apartment blocks. The hotel itself and staff were welcoming. The room was clean but basic. The dinner menu was very sparse, only 3 choices for a main course so a bit disappointing but the food we ordered was delicious and presented well. The pool closes at 6 which after a long day of sightseeing we really wanted a swim but were told the pool was closed, however when we went for dinner at 8.15 there were guests still using the pool. I wouldn’t stay here again.

A little oasis in the centre of the town-very helpful staff, comfortable room and a good breakfast-I think it could do with some comfortable chairs to relax in the dining area looking out over the pool

we came to the hotel after spending the day at Pompeii, dreaming on good hot shower and comfortable bed. Our dreams come true.
Although there are some minor issues such as week Wi-Fi and kitchen close around 10:30 pm, still I would rate the hotel as excellent. extremely clean, nice staff and very comfortable rooms. hotel located walking distance from the Palace.
