We enjoyed out stay. Everyone was very nice and very helpful. Will consider this hotel for our next stay as well fell in love with Oaxaca.

I made this reservation thinking we were close to Santo Domingo, as opposed to the Cathedral (my mistake). We ended up being a bit further down the road from SD, but let me tell you the hotel did not disappoint. The walk was easy, and for half the price you pay to stay a hundred feet from SD, we enjoyed a very quaint, clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. Would definitely come back.

This place is absolutely amassing, located just less then two blocks away from Historic center or zocalo. end less then 5 blocks walking distance to the mercados.
Is a very nice place to take enjoy couple drinks and relaxed or eat there since there is a nice cozy restaurant at the entrance to the hotel.
Thank you very much for your attention.

Really lovely people working there. The food was so good, we ate there a lot. I would recommend this stay to anyone, I'll be back! Thank you, Laurel Brooks

Things started well for our trip before turning sour. We received a welcome drink and got to check in early. The staff were friendly and the room spacious and clean. Only the check out soured our trip. Staff told me that they had not received payment for the rooms. Even when I showed them my credit card statement on my phone, they agreed that I had paid Expedia, but Expedia had not paid the hotel. So, I had to pay the full amount, again! And all of this at 06:15 on a Sunday morning, leaving for the airport.

The room was tidy, functional and colonial looking. The restaurant offers very nice breakfast with coffee, frute, juice and eggs made to your taste.

Only problem was construction noise very early

The location is great, the room was nice but the pipes in the bathroom were partially clogged, we had to use the lobby’s restroom. They said it was fixed but it wasn’t. Probably it is a major problem with the pipes.

Staff at both hotel and restaurant were attentive and super helpful. Location was great as everything was very walkable. We had a minor water issue but it was resolve in literally 2 minutes. Overall a great place to stay!

Personnel was very attentive to our needs. The adjoining restaurant had good service and good food.

I liked that is very close to the Zocalo and many local restaurants and shopping. I also loved the hotel design and architecture.

After staying in Mexico City with no air conditioning and above average temperatures, we were so pleased with how cool the mini split kept our room. We slept comfortably for the first time in days!
The ambiance of the hotel was wonderful, from being welcomed with a small mezcalini to the beautiful courtyard on the ground floor. The hotel is centrally located making it easy to walk to anywhere in the city. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Beautiful, cozy and clean! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable and there was a safe which I always appreciate. There was a nice sitting area outside our room. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious breakfast at a good price. The staff is nice, helpful and friendly. I had forgotten a dress in the room and I was notified right away and had time to retrieve it before my flight back home! Beautiful place, beautiful people!

This is a very sweet hotel. Character & cleanliness was the highlight of the stay, along with the service.
The location of the hotel was perfect, with a an amazing wine bar right around the corner - where we visited several evenings.
Our room was large with a sofá & 2 seat table. The bed was comfortable. However, this room was like a cave. It was at the end of the hall with no widows to the outside world. When the lights were off you could not tell it was 1am or 1pm. It was great for sleeping, but not for hanging out in the room & getting to enjoy the space.
The bathroom was large & had everything you needed, but there was an odd smell in the bathroom that did move into the room a bit.
All in all we enjoyed our time & would go back but not for the regular nightly rate.

This is a small centrally located hotel with a lot of charm. A good alternative to much pricier hotels around.

We had a great experience here. It was the perfect location for exploring Oaxaca City. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked well. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the restaurant three times:). We didn’t mind the steps at all, but it looks like they may be installing an elevator. The welcome drinks were such a nice touch!

The rooms could be updated and we found the junior suite to be very dark.No big window or balcony to relax on when we wanted.

The room was clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was good and affordable. The staff were friendly and very accommodating.
I would stay there again

Good convenient location. Our superior room was small, nothing like the online photos. Room had a small window with a view of the corridor. Clean and functional but small
5.0
This hotel exceeded our expectations with its friendly staff, immaculate cleanliness, stylish decor, and incredibly comfortable bedding. The room service was impressively fast, and the prime location just steps from the zocalo was incredibly convenient. While the elevator was out of order during our stay, the staff kindly assisted with our luggage, and the opportunity to take the stairs provided a welcome chance for exercise. We loved our stay and would definitely return to this gem of a hotel."

This beautiful hotel is a few blocks from the zocalo (square). It is very clean & well maintained; decorated with Mexican art & lighting. You really feel like you’re in Mexico. We arrived early & were able to get into our room. The hotel staff were so warm & always helpful. Our room (superior) was spacious & comfortable. The bed a bit softer than our liking. Great a/c! Oaxaca City was hot! Large bathroom, good lighting, big shower, lots of hot water. There was no elevator, but one was being installed during our stay. The restaurant was convenient. Breakfast not included with our stay. We mostly ate out, but did have a light breakfast & cocktails there. The staff were very nice & efficient. We really enjoyed our stay at Parador San Miguel & would return. The only negative to add was we were in room 201. Early in the morning you can hear staff below preparing for their work in the hotel. We’re early risers, so it was not a problem. If you sleep in you may prefer another location.

Parador San Miguel is a friendly, clean, and charming boutique hotel. We greatly enjoyed our stay. It's conveniently located just a few blocks from the Zòcalo, city square and the heart of Oaxaca. The interior courtyard and rooftop terrace are peaceful and relaxing, and the hotel restaurant offers excellent and varied options all hours of the day until late in the evening.

The place was very clean, beautifully decorated, and staff was gracious and always ready to help. The location is a block away from el Zocalo. We would stay again.
0.5
Absolute disappointment with the arrogant manager in turn whereby not only refused to accept responsibility but gave false accusations resulting in a disturbing dispute completely disrupting our honeymoon.
We chose this hotel for being classified as a "boutique luxury hotel" and part of the Petits Hotels affiliates who are supposed to known for their excellent premises and personalized service. However, this was very misleading and far from what they claim to be.
This review is truthful and accurate and there is tangible proof of it all.
