The private room for a hostel was pretty good. It had free wifi, shared toilet, shower, air-conditioning, and small elevator to 3rd floor. Outside the property it was close to restaurants, and had 2 convenience stores in 1 block. We bought water, fresh fruit and snacks. It was within walking distance to trains and local buses.

I really enjoyed my stay. My only complaint would be that I struggled to get my keys to work in any door and was treated with condescension when i asked about it. I was then told there's a trick to it. Especially disappointing when you consider a fellow traveller was robbed trying to get into the front door. Aside from that the staff was friendly and helpful, atmosphere inside the hostel was fantastic, and the staff maintained a good level of cleanliness.

Great stay, great atmosphere and the hostel owner provided great tips on Naples and what to do the surrounding area to make the best out of my weekend :)

The owner was super amazing and friendly but the location was so scary!

Had a great time here during my stay. The owner was really nice and welcoming, and gave me tips around the city. Rest of the staff were nice and helpful as well. The rooms are big and comfortable, they got a nice kitchen where they serve a nice breakfast every morning and a relaxed lounge area. Overall, very satisfied with my stay and will come back the next time I’m in Napoli!

Honestly one of the best located hostels I been in Italy, and one with such nice people and staff 😍 it was amazing that I stay even more nights
Great place will definitely come back

This was the second of three hostels I stayed in during my trip to Italy. It was the most expensive, taking into account the fact that it cost €5 for a lock for the locker. All the other hostels had free lockers. Also, it didn’t provide towels. Again, this was something provided FOC by a cheaper hostel I stayed in. When I arrived, the man greeting me give me a map and told me where would be great things to visit and I really enjoyed everything he suggested.
The breakfast was also very welcome. There was definitely more on offer than at the hostel I previously stayed at. I was too warm under the duvet though and struggled to sleep well. Also, the second night I was there a large group arrived and seemed to run riot through the building. The noise was awful and there was also a lot of road noise.
I liked that the bathroom was separated from the bedroom and the vibe was great but the area wasn’t too good - rubbish was strewn around outside. It was quite a walk to the main shopping areas and marina but very close to the rail station.

Nice clean hostel with superb staff. The owner is super nice and really cares about your welfare. We had a bad roommate and the owner immediately sorted the problem out. Great rooms, some with balconies. Right near the train station and good restaurants. Kitchen is big and clean. Whole place is kept very clean including bathrooms. Superfast WIFI, TV room, and the friendliest staff in Naples!

Whether you are waking up with a hangover or tired because everyone else in the dorm woke you up by returning drunk all through the night, Hostel Mancini Naples has the perfect cure!!!! A nice custom made in front of you by the happiest morning person in the world! She is guaranteed to give you the best start to your Sunday imaginable. Sadly, she is only serving breakfast on Sunday mornings so you will just have to drink a pot of coffee and eat a bag of sugar to replace the high she gives you. ;) Oh, nice hostel too.

Lovey hostel run by lovely people.
There is even a resident turtle.
The surrounding area is a bit iffy but very convenient as it's by the main station.
Other places cancelled their buffet breakfast option due to Covid but here theystill provide it by changing it from a buffet to service. Brilliant!

Charming hostel, right next to train central station and at the core of old town. I got everything I needed during my stay and special thanks to the receptionist (sorry I didn't get your name in the end) as he was always attentive and very helpful with his tips. Thank you!

The place is clean. They have so many internal rules that you need to remember and follow. Such as you cannot use the kitchen before 14:30 and you must leave your room at 10:30 for cleaning. It sounds like a camp than a place to stay for holidays.

Finding the hostel was difficult and the street is sketchy, but close to the train station. The front desk girl was very friendly and nice. The room was stuffy, only tiny lockers for backpack, beds loudly creaked, and the keys for the doors were very loud to go in and out. Breakfast was very nice and there is an elevator.

Outside a little shakey, but inside was exceptional . Nice breakfast, great staff. Alfredo very helpful. Location was close to the train station

It was an overall great experience. The owner and the people workung there were really nice. In the evening there were free aperitivi and pasta which was a great opportunity to socialize. And the room was cleaned every day! The only discomfort was that our (shared) bathroom was often occupied by people who didn‘t want to wait for the bathroom in their room. Anyway we always got the key from other floor to use the other bathroom ;-).

The hostel replied to my emails very quickly and i had requested to reserve a lower bunk bed. But on checking in, i found they had not reserved a lower bed for me ! Another guest kindly exchanged her bed with me.
Nest, the listing says 24 hrs reception. So i kept my food in fridge for my early morning trip the next day, as i will not have a chnace to buy anything so early in the morning. No one told me they close the reception area at night. So when I went at 6 am to collect my food, i saw the notice on door that the receptionist should be woken up only in case of emergency. I did not want to go hungry just because they did not inform me. So i knocked and an old man popped his head out, who could speak/understand little or no english. I told him my needs and he thought i was checking out. I tried to explain, but he forced the door shut on my face after yelling angrily at me. I kept on knocking. Then he opened the door and allowed me to the refrigerators. I also tried to fill my water bottle as it was going to be a hot day. At that point he said he would not allow me to take water and yelled at me to get out. In fact he pushed me out of the room.
I have never in my life faced such a nasty behaviour from a hostel staff/owner. Also, while booking i specifically checked if the property had 24 hrs reception. Lastly, they did not inform me that they close reception at night till 7.30 am next day.
