Serene and zen-like place to stay. Friendly staff and comfortable room. The in-room onsen was very nice and private. I just wished the weather cooperated. Would definitely try to go again.

Very relaxing and peaceful!

Beautiful property with kind staff. We got to see cherry blossoms and the sunrise from mountains from our room & onsen bathtub! Amazing experience

This place is a great spot for when you’re looking to relax. The staff was hospitable and even drove us from the station to the hotel. We had our luggage’s delivered and they were already in our room. The room itself was very nice and spacious and the meals were absolutely delicious.

This was our first stay at a traditional Ryokan. It was a great experience and the staff was very helpful. The food was good, but is very traditional so you should expect that going in. We had a lovely stay.
4.7
It was a wonderful experience and extremely beautiful, well kept and thoughtful staff. I would highly recommend.

This Ryoukan was a top tier resort with private baths. Our room was luxurious and the whole experience was very relaxing and top notch. We enjoyed the comfortable beds as well as the grounds, the drinks, and the two meals. Also the outfits were fabulous. I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Hakone

Great people, awesome dinner and enjoyable views
4.7
Great stay I told them I didn’t like seafood. I tried all the seafood they gave me, the last dish with rice was supposed to have fish but the chef was very kind and gave me beef.
4.7
I can easily rate this experience 10/10 and it was worth every penny. From head to toe, the service was impeccable and worthy of praise. The staff was able to communicate in English so this was a great help.
First off, ryokan is situated about 5-10 minutes drive away from one of the local stops in Hakone, which also included a vehicle transfer from the station.
Upon reaching the ryokan, we were greeted with an immaculate view of the surrounding mountains. They had some of the best beer on tap, I believe it was the Shiro Honoka Beer by Sapporo.
Cleanliness was very good, and the food was exceptional as it had some of the freshest ingredients that I had tasted. The highlight was the private onsen in the bathroom, which included a view of the mountain as well.

Hidden gem in Hakone, super private, excellent service and food
4.7
Staff was very patient with us and very accommodating. The menu was set and had some of the best quality food I’ve had in Japan. My only issue was that the onsen in our room was starting to show its age but was easy to ignore once you felt the water. It was a very good experience overall.
4.7
Had the most beautiful stay at this onsen resort. The room was spectacular, the staff very caring and kind, transport from the train station was punctual and comfy. The food was the best meal we had in all of Japan, and of course the onsen in the room was breathtaking and soothing. Absolutely recommend.

The hotel was a bit off the beaten path, but the amenities were excellent. It's not the type of location where you can easily walk into town or explore Hakone. But, once you get settled, you might not even need to leave! Our room had an amazing view, incredible wood tub, and great beds. There were other people staying in the hotel but we couldn't hear them or notice anyone else so it felt very private. We arrived two hours before check in and they were not able to accommodate an early check-in which was okay. They drove us down to the town center and we saw some museums before heading back. the private dinner was expensive, but very excellent. And the breakfast was outstanding. We got to eat with a great view of the mountains. And the staff was very attentive and accommodating to all our needs.

An amazing experience! The staff were very attentive and helpful. They really made it such a wonderful experience. They arranged pick up and drop off, and helped us book the right train/bus.
The traditional dinner and breakfast in the private dining room was delicious. There was lots of food and it was all thoughtfully and beautifully prepared.
The views we enjoyed were very beautiful. The room was perfectly outfitted to relax and enjoy the private onsen and views. We would love to come back! Thank you for an amazing stay!

This hotel is a traditional Japanese ryukan. The personal attendant, Miki, that the hotel provided us was amazing and so attentive to our every need. The food that was provided for our in room meals was of extraordinary quality. I would definitely stay here again!

An incredible calm peaceful place, excellent for one night, food unique. But inn was too remote for visitors who were not traveling by car.
4.7
Staff was very accommodating, always doing everything they could to make the stay as good as possible.

Very quiet. Visited with two little kids , and the hotel staff did everything to accommodate to our needs. Food was beyond excelent. Service incredibly professional. Picked us up at the train station. Just make sure to communicate with them by email and not phone if you dont know japanese

Staff was so attentive and the room was spotless! Our food was delicious 😋 watching the sunrise from the onsen was truly special. Highly recommend!

This was the highlight of my Japan trip. The location is beautiful and serene. They really made it feel like you are the only guest to attend to.
Room was so spacious and comfortable. Food was great. The attendant was extremely nice and helpful.

The property is beautifully and elegantly furnished - it was amazing to have the chance to stay in a ryokan. Having a private onsen made it so easy to relax and enjoy the hot spring water. The views of the surrounding scenery were excellent and this was such a relaxing stay.
4.7
Best stay of our trip. Felt so well looked after and like a VIP our entire stay. Very accomodating especially with our dietary requirements. Food was the best I had all trip. The room was beautiful and so was the view. Wished we had stayed for a few more nights!
4.7
By far the best place I've stayed at. Huge dinners and breakfasts sampling several Japanese dishes. Amazing mountain views and private onsen. Transport and advice on tourist locations down to which side of the cable car to sit on for a view of Mt Fuji. This place is a necessity when visiting Japan, let alone Hakone.
4.7
Had a super relaxing experience for one night there. The hot spring is amazing. Dinner was delicious. Service was excellent.
4.7
If you are looking for a wonderful ryokan experience this is it! I wish we stayed longer than one night. This ryokan offers many different room styles and sizes. They also offers rooms with private bath - which is the one we chose. The whole stay - from the pick up at Odawara station to the drop off at the end - felt personalized and so so relaxing. The whole design of the property, the room, and the service was beautiful, thoughtful, and makes you feel as if you are the only person around. The kaiseki meal and the traditional breakfast were amazing! Top 3 best meals we had on our trip (2 of which were in michelin restaurants). Highly, highly recommend!
4.7
The food is excellent and the service is brilliant!

Unique night
4.7
Great service and excellent food
4.7
Great service, onsen bath and food were very nice. All of the staff were friendly and super helpful. Spacious room. One improvement could be room amenities and interior (no decoration, no sofa cushion, 3 types of shampoo but no face wash) but that might be just the room we chose.
Had a great relaxing time here. Would like to come back and try another room.

大人二人、子供二人(4歳, 1歳)で、一泊12万円!露天風呂、サビースはよかった。料理は美味しかったけど、驚くほどのものではなかった。4歳子供の晩御飯は、追加の7000円!かなりジョークでした
