The rooms were exceptional.

Clean, cost, fun, and comfortable. This was a nice stay, lots of convenient amenities. Food was meh (ant least in alices, slow service too) and casino was small. Worked for the night.

Did not like having to walk through the casino to get to dinner

The remodeled rooms were really nice. While they are pretty well soundproofed from adjacent rooms they do get noise from upper floors. If you’re a light sleeper you may want top floor. Mountain View means you see some the nearby mountains in the distance past Hwy 299. I told a friend recently that this is one a handful of hotels we’ve stayed at both domestically and internationally where the room pictures online actually matched the rooms you stay in. The location is great if you plan to stay multiple nights and do day trips up and down the coast. It is also nice for when the beach hotels you’re choosing from are undesirable or just unavailable. Blue Lake is a bit warmer when it gets chilly in the evening in the beach towns which was a plus for us. The Casino features some decent budget friendly restaurants. My daughters raved about the sushi place there. They also have a minimart to fuel up and grab picnic supplies. The staff was more than friendly and accommodating. Recommended for your next trip to the Northern California Coast!

Clean and comfortable. Only complaint is that the bathroom light is on a motion sensor so it automatically comes on which is very inconvenient in the middle of the night.

Glad they remodeled the rooms and dinning but the parking is another issue. If you have parking in back, there needs to be a door in back. There is a side door for guests but close to the handicapped spots. I have been in customer service for 40 years. Make it easy!

Great property close to redwoods. It’s next to the casino if you like that. Only negative thing was they didn’t have laundry area or water filling station which is needed for many travelers.

We had a great stay. The jacuzzi upgrade was worth it. I regret the room service the last night. They were an hour half late and said they would bring my fish and chips and they threw them in a microwave and sent them to me. It was mushy and nasty. That is the only regret. That was Alice restaurant. I wanted my $45 back after what they brought me. But the hotel and Casino was super nice and the bed was comfortable. Huge room.
